J.Crew Factory Orlando Prime

I heart J.Crew. And this location allows me to indulge and spend on this brand but without completely breaking the bank.
First off, I HIGHLY recommend visiting during the week, after work or super early around opening time on weekends to avoid the crowds and to get decent parking.
I subscribe to their emails and I always get alerts on their sales. They are always having big savings in the store and online. On my recent visit, I specifically came because they had a sale throughout the entire store where everything (Yes, including clearance) was an additional 50%! I picked up some shorts, a dress, a few tops and some flip flops. To see the amount of money i saved was insane! These sales are how you get the best deal.
I ended up applying for the J. Crew card so I could start earning the rewards for my purchases. The card is also good at the regular J. Crew stores and at Madewell. And thankfully, you can pay off your card in store.
I also have to compliment the sales associate in the fitting rooms that was super friendly and helpful and grabbed the size I needed. It was a treat since I don’t normally encounter this kind of genuine customer service at the outlets.

I won’t give my money to a store where the employees ignore me. I went here the other day to browse for shorts and a few other things. Every employee there ignored me. Not even a hello. The prices here are pretty high and there ‘sales’ are unimpressive for an outlet store. $ 10 off? Sorry, other stores of equal quality give much better discounts.
I found 6 pair of shorts I wanted to try on. Nobody was working the dressing room area. I asked the cashier and she said «just go in any one that’s open. Well, none were open. She then came with her keys and opened a dressing room for someone who was there after me. Guess what, she opened the door to find someone changing. She didn’t even apologize to the woman, I then scored a dressing room, decided I’d buy two pair of shorts, and looked for a place to put the items I decided against. There was nowhere to put them and nobody to take them. Fuck this, I’ll give my hard earned cash to a store that respects their customers.
By the way, the dressing room was a mess and doesn’t even have a bench to put your clothes.
I shall not return.

Was disappointed to see a one star review for this location. I’ve spent my time at J Crew in between the two Orlando area outlet locations and the store at the Mall at Millenia and I have never experienced anything less than an average experience.
Like any outlet, finding what you’re looking for is hit or miss. Your best bet (according to an employee) is to stop in at the end of a season for great deals, or the beginning of a season for great selection. Be warned that there will often be a fair offering of warmer clothes in spite of the Florida climate because the location caters primary to tourists.
I have always been greeted when I’ve entered the store and those that have helped me with anything from finding a gift, to clothes or simply a fitting room have been pleasant to deal with. 3 stars.

Not very impressed with the jeans I purchased… My money could have been spent at another place with better results.
