I was recently there with my son, brother and boyfriend. We stopped after a long day at Universal. It seemed a good choice as we were staying at the Days Inn. We should have left immediately when we heard the cook yelling at the waitress. I guess I made him mad by ordering an egg with my BLT. He started screaming and swearing at the waitress how it wouldn’t work on that sandwich. Funny how I go to another restaurant in my area that serves a BELT. I didn’t realize ordering an egg was going to be that difficult at a restaurant that specialized in breakfast. The egg came scrambled(ordered ssu) The top toast was just bread the bottom was burnt. The waitress immediately apologized and asked him to make a new one. He refused so she started making one herself for me. I told her nevermind as my party had already finished their meal and were ready to leave as quickly as they could, but she insisted. I waited for her to make it and took it to go. As by now the cook was throwing things around and swearing at her and us. The food ordered by everyone else was good but not worth being swore at. I made a complaint to corporate, the next day. They told me they would call me back in a couple days. It has now been a week, No waitress should have to work under these circumstances. We made sure to tip her well as she tried so hard to make it better. This will be the last time I step foot into a IHOP.

My daughter and I were seated at the counter. No one approached us for 10 minutes. We left.

Sucks, they can’t handle pressure, cooks are overwhelmed. I ordered crepes and a side of eggs, got crepes that he’d onions from someone else’s dish mixed into mine. Yuk. Where’s Chef Ramsey when you need him?

Actually Ihop is not that bad. Food and service are ok. I don’t expect a five star restaurant. What I didn’t like in this affiliate is the smelling. Puuuuh.

This IHOP is connected to a Days Inn, and though it seems to get lots of traffic from patrons of that hotel and drive-up customers, this place is really very tiny; probably about ½ the size of most standard IHOP restaurants. 2 of us arrived here at around 11:30 on a Sunday afternoon, there were probably 2 dozen patrons outside waiting to be seated and our wait for a table for 2 was about 10 minutes. To be fair, the service, speed of delivery after we placed our orders and the quality of the food were all fine, and pretty much what one would expect from IHOP… Again, what really kills this place is the fact that it’s so tiny.

I don’t know HOW this place even has two stars! IHOP is pretty basic and if you expect GREAT then this isn’t the place for that. We simply wanted breakfast and we didn’t want to go far for it. Everyone was starving and IHOP showed up on the«breakfast nearby» map. We arrived and were surprisingly seated pretty quickly because it was pretty packed. There were 8 in our party and we were seated in between two other tables. I’m pretty sure though that they squeezed that table into that spot before we arrived because we could barely move our chairs in and out without hitting the people behind us. We were CRAMPED. We ordered our meals and I’m not kidding you, nearly EVERYTHINGWASWRONG in the order. You ask for a fried egg, you get scrambled, you ask for cheese, no cheese, you ask for no meat, you get meat, you ask for water, you get no water! Then they bring coffee but you can’t have a full mug. They only fill it partially and then the carafe is pretty much empty! WTH is that about?!! My little niece ordered pancakes with strawberries, they never made it to the table until thirty minutes later. She ended up eating her moms food. We all sat searching for the waitress but she was so busy that we barely saw her to tell her food was missing. My food plate was SOSMALL(after it arrived the second time without the meat) that I felt like I was feeding a toddler. I basically paid full price for an omelette that I had omitted meat from. They omitted meat but didn’t add extra veggies in its place so it ended up being a few pieces of shrunken spinach with minuscule pieces of tomatoes and that’s it. I ate it with no complaint but left hungry and had to stop and grab fruit from a gas station. I don’t blame the waitress. She was nice and so we were also very nice about things being so wrong in the order. The people in the kitchen just couldn’t get it together. I’ll just say to avoid this place altogether. It was really bad!

Just landed in Orlando an hour ago or so, my family was starving so we stopped at the nearest food location to the airport which was this… Upon entering we were greeted and told to sit down at table near the kitchen. This table was ridiculously loud with workers fighting. We were waiting for12−14 minutes before the waitress came over to our table to take our order… Stay away from here guys.

OMG! First day of visit and first meal, and we’re greeted by a heavy stench of old swamp water smell as we enter the door. I was ready to go over to Denny’s, but the wife wanted this. Service was prompt, although my wife’s omelette was ordered with spinach, which was omitted. It was quickly corrected. Food and service was 3 star. But that stench! I hope not all Orlando restaurants are like this.

Ok, so I know we were in Orlando… in the summertime(July)… on a Sunday. But my God, an hour wait to be seated?! It wouldn’t have been SO bad had there been some semblance of an actual waiting area instead of a cramped doorway and a couple of benches outside in the searing Florida heat. But back to the wait time, because I really feel the need to paint a picture here. After about 25 minutes I attempted to maximize our time since we had plans after breakfast. I left my wife, kids, nieces, nephews and in-laws at the restaurant to drive across the street and get some gas(at a station that was also ridiculously packed). When I returned 30 minutes later, half of my family(yes, I said half) was JUST getting seated. When they finally seated me and the other half of our party on the other side of the restaurant, that’s when I noticed the almost third-worldly feel of the dining room. You see, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how the place was laid out. Most restaurants – even busy ones – have booths and tables organized in such a way that you actually feel like you’re having a meal with only the people who came there with you. There are defined walkways between the tables for the servers to move about and for patrons to actually have a little space. This place was packed like a bus station somewhere in the foothills of *insert underdeveloped country here*. The carpet smelled like wet dogs, and we were literally elbow to elbow and back to back with the families next to and behind us. The server had one little space to stand between the tables to take our order, and when our food was delivered the poor girl was relegated to the«take one and pass it down method» because she couldn’t reach everyone. I didn’t want to eat at all, but I was already part of a captive audience and didn’t feel like arguing with my wife about why I had lost my appetite. So I ordered the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs. My scrambled eggs: burnt. How the heck do you burn scrambled eggs at a place that specializes in breakfast? Our server was very nice though and got the cook to make me some more… which didn’t show up until I was done with the rest of my food. My waffle: lukewarm and soggy. I know pancakes are your cash cow, but come on, I’ve had better Eggos. My chicken(fingers): barely warm, greasy… and a teensy bit on the gray side. Regardless, I tried to finish them. But after I spit out a hunk of gristle, I was done. If you look at my Unilocal history, you’ll see that I am a rather frequent IHOP customer. So I’m going to hold onto the hope that this visit was an aberration. But if you’re going to operate a restaurant in one of America’s most popular vacation cities, you’ve got to do better guys. Expand and upgrade your dining room(I know you’re making enough money), and practice better quality control of your food. From now on when we’re on vacation, we will start checking out the mom and pop diners for breakfast. I can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed in their food quality, and since they’re not name brand franchises, they’re sure to be a lot less packed.

Had a wonderful meal. Line of course was long but that should be expected when you’re in a tourist town. Rashid was an excellent waiter

Good breakfast and even better service. Sirloin tip breakfast tasted yummy and you can’t go wrong with waffles! Joyce was cheerful and friendly. I think we need to come back for dinner.

I was impressed with how well they were under pressure, but very disappointed with one of the servers named Brittany her attitude and language in front of the costumers was uncalled for. I believe she should go to the kitchen and act that way not at the bar near families.

The waitress Monica was the best. The store is high volume because it’s attached to a motel but the crew did a good job at getting people in and out!

Food was good some of the best IHop food I have had in a awhile. Our waiter was very polite and took good care of us. Unfortunately I can only give three stars do to the place being very unclean. There were some employees who were more concerned with chit chat then cleaning the dinning area. However next time I’m in that area I will most likely give it another go.

Why does this place have a 2 star rating? That is crazy! These guys on the cooking line can kick out some food and they do it in a packed restaurant without any complaining. They are actually happy while they are under a huge amount of pressure to get all of the food out and have it be correct. Plus the up front staff dealing with hangry people that want a table fast do a fantastic job and keep their cool. I don’t know who the local person who put this team together was or if it just happened but these guys are great. I haven’t been impressed with most of the places I have eaten while in town but I can tell you I have been here 4 times now. The corporate office in my opinion should do something nice for these guys with everything they do and deal with. Anytime I come back to Orlando I will be sure to have breakfast here.

We came around 1am on a holiday weekend & we were a party of 4. They sat us down quickly, but after that it went downhill. They took about 10 minutes before anyone even came by our table. Once we ordered our drinks, 1 of our glasses of water had lemonade residue. They also forgot 1 of our drinks & brought us water instead. The mozzarella sticks were too chewy & the pancakes not your typical I-Hop good pancakes, at all. We waited over 5 minutes after our food was served before we got the side of pancakes. There was only 1 Asian waiter handling all of the tables in our area while all the waitresses were just sitting around or killing time & eventually all left. By far, the worse I-Hop any of us have ever been to.

Pancakes were chewy scrambled eggs Tasted grainy, as if made from some kind of mix. Person with me had hard fried eggs that looked better. Bacon soft and greasy. Have eaten at better ihops. Not sure what the problem was here.

Oh boy, this IHOP was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was empty, which should have been our first clue. There was only one waitress who seemed to be doing ALL the work. She seated us, got our drinks, then after taking our order, proceeded to COOK the food! This poor girl worked her tail off! She was friendly but seriously, the restaurant was understaffed. I had dried food on my plate and lipstick on my napkin! The turkey avocado meal was sketchy, as the avocado peeling had not been removed! Ugh

Here is your typical IHOP in a good location in Orlando. The service is quick and the food is fine. Good for a quick bite to eat for brunch before you hit the parks. Pancakes were yummy and the omelette and coffee were good as well.
