If you are visiting Orlando, you MUST stop at Gringos. If you live in Orlando, Gringos should be a staple of your diet … No excuses. I always order 6 Double D’s for dinner … And get an extra Mouth Hugger to reheat for breakfast.

Not a huge fan. We went here for guacamole and found it to be underseasoned. It is a good place to go if you happen to be out drinking in the milk district and want to have a drunken snack. That’s probably the only circumstance I would go back.

Usually Gringos is pretty good but this location has the«D squad» working there. They mess up orders on a regular basis either missing toppings or adding toppings that were specifically requested to be left off. Also when you ask them for something they look at you like you’re stupid or they don’t understand English. Customer service and food prep need work at this location.

Local and authentic tacos and burritos in Orlando. I like this location as it has a nice little patio area and is away from the business downtown bar scene. Everything taste great and loved the double D tacos.

Small taco joint located in the Milk District that serves tacos and burritos with dirty names. It’s perfect for a late night bite. All tacos and burritos are enormous and affortable, as well as, appetizing. I love the pork street tacos! Be sure to take advantage of their happy hour also. There’s not much seating, they have very few tables outside and that’s it.

All I gotta say. Pork Double D’s!!! Honestly, that is all I have ever ordered at Gringos, besides the chips and queso. Don’t miss out on Happy Hour 4−8pm: free chips and salsa, $ 2 tacos, $ 2 beers, $ 5 burritos. This location only has outside seating and a limited amount. Being so close to Sportstown and other bars is great for a late night snack. It’s probably going to be less busy and better parking than the downtown location. The white queso is refreshing and addicting with their chips! Double D’s are just amazing. They melt in your mouth. I get mine«All the Way» which means pico, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. The pork is delicious. You can get 1, 2, or 3 double d’s and you can get any protein combination(chicken, pork, beef). Great local favorite!

Completely forgot this location existed! Much cleaner and obviously smaller line than the one downtown. Nice outdoor seating! Next to sportstown, which is an A+++. I believe they have a happy hour for burritos. Not sure if its every location though. Ill try to update my review when i get more information.

Double D’s are pretty amazing and its open late to satisfy those late night taco cravings. Always get good service and its quick even with a line. The only negative thing I could say is that the patio could use a canopy or cover in the summer. It gets screaming hot out there sitting next to the parking lot.

First time in today, what a pleasant surprise. The staff made us feel very welcome and gave us some recommendations on what to order. My girlfriend and I both decided on the Double D tacos, she got the beef and I got the pulled pork. The tacos were great! The restaurant is very small, no inside seating, but there is a small deck out back to sit and eat. I can’t wait to go back and explore the other options on there menu.

Longer lines than the big chains sometimes, but totally worth it. Food is fresh, delicious, and available late-night. Tacos make a great quick bite, and the burritos are good enough to wrap yourself in. There’s also a Freestyle machine, and that never hurts. I always find the staff friendly, but one friend said they were rude to her. I didn’t see it, so I don’t know. The reason there’s not a fifth star is because the bathroom light switch is outside the door, and things can get tricky when people lean on it. Now I’m just craving a burrito.

The only place I go for Mexican and the only one that makes me crave it all the time. OG Nachos with chicken and beef? Like Mexican soda? The best. So much food and for a reasonable price! Also, the employees are pretty rad as well! Great food and great people!

This is my go-to burrito joint. The prices are very low for the quality and quantity of food you get. I generally get something different every time, and have never been disappointed. This is their second location, and it’s in the Milk District, where everything is awesome. This is definitely my favorite food outlet in my favorite part of town. There’s a super-complex soda machine with infinite options, making it one of the only places in the universe where I was able to find diet grape soda; another revolution in eating and drinking greatness. As of last visit, the back porch area wasn’t super great for eating, as there was almost nowhere to sit down. I trust this will improve. Now I’m going to play the Wikipedia link game.

I’ve wanted to go here for months ever since I kept hearing rave reviews about how good it is. Last night I finally got the chance. I met up with a co-worker and Gringos veteran who guided me towards the Double D’s. That with a side of heavenly(and greasy) chips and queso came to $ 6 and change. Their use of a fried crunchy taco shell allows everything to come together perfectly without being too crunchy. The ground beef had a lot of flavor and the toppings were fresh, which is probably why this was one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Before leaving, I used the restroom, which I was completely shocked to find cleaner than a bathroom at a five star hotel. That impressed me more than anything, especially given their location. The staff was friendly and outgoing, and like all restaurants, encouraged us to come back again. Trust me… I will.

These guys craft some damn fine tacos, burritos and nachos. Gringos is a neighborhood standby. Right in the heart of the milk district, this place serves great food fast. Like other neighborhood favorites it isn’t fancy. It’s a small building with limited parking that can be a challenge to get in and out of. They do quick counter service but meals are made to order and they have some seating in the back. We usually order to go though because it isn’t really a comfy dining experience eating there. It’s a very popular after-the-bar spot and it’s open late. Try the Double Ds tacos and the nachos for some of the highlights. Unfortunately every time I order the street tacos, I want to taste the incredible flavors of the tacos al pastor I love from visiting Mexico and these just fall flat again and again. The menu is good but some items are stronger that others. It’s worth a try but it may not be your thing. It’s definitely the best thing open at 2am though.

Love the downtown location after a night on the town. This location… well it is ok. It is the same restaurant but somehow the tacos just taste different to me. Not as much umph! I still come here though because I love tacos and it is convenient. Also the staff seems always eager to serve… there are significantly smaller lines here. A safe bet is the pork double D. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I have eaten here 5 times now and it has never let me down. Whatever you be– completely sober, buzzed, or schwasted– if you have a craving for some good Mexican burritos don’t be scared to stop here. They also serve beer and have a good choice of hot sauces to make your meal tasty. There prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Hands down it is way better than Chipotle! The building is small and the parking is very limited. There is some parking in the back of the building, otherwise street parking is always an option. There is outside seating on their patio, but usually I take the food to go. The staff, who are always friendly and eager to please, does a great job on keeping their restaurant clean!

With offerings like ‘The Mouth Hugger’ you know you’re in the right place for no-holds-barred burritos and tacos. This new location opened up last year to the cheers of many a mid 20’s bar going hipster in the Milk District. Recently, they just opened a patio and will even have furniture there soon. Things to consider: parking in the back is scarce, this place is always busy so expect a bit of a wait, and currently as of 5÷9÷15 there’s no seating inside, so you’ll either be standing on the back patio to eat, or will need to use to-go. Took a star off because twice when I’ve used a coupon or Unilocal check in, I’ve received a lot of kickback from a staff member on why she didn’t think it was a good idea for me to use a coupon or Unilocal check-in. Other employees have always overheard and corrected that staff member, so that’s why I keep coming back.

Location: The Milk District, Parking is in the back! The Tacos are an explosion of fresh flavors that pretty much leads to an addiction to tacos. I already love tacos and this place only solidified my love for tacos. I decided to order Guacamole and Chips because Guacamole is another guilty pleasure of mine. The Guacamole was fresh and tasty. Now Let’s get into the main entrée which is what lead me to this Taco Haven… The Double D’s: My Meat of choice was Chicken. The taco is a mixture of a soft tortilla around a crunchy taco shell filled with cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I can not get enough of these tacos, seriously. Also this place is open from 11AM to 3AM from Monday through Saturday. So if I need a late night fix I know exactly where to come. Also if you want to add some fresh hot sauce to the taco bunch, there is a selection to choose from. YUM! As of right now there is not a place to sit down, but I noticed they are in the process of building a patio deck where people can eat, which will only make this place more awesome then it already. The prices are very reasonable for two tacos they are $ 6.29, for three tacos they are $ 8.79. Also, apparently there is a happy hour from 4PM to 8PM, during happy hour you are able to have $ 2.00 tacos and $ 5.00 burritos. Cheap prices and Great Tacos equals Deadly Combo! If you need catering, they also offer this service option. I scream you scream, we all scream for tacos!
