They have shut down. This was the best sushi place I’ve ever been to. I went at least 2 times a week. They went out of business about a week ago. I tried to call in an order and when they didn’t answer I drove by only to find a note on the door thanking everyone for their years of business. I’m so depressed.

I finally got an opportunity to stop in, and I was pleasantly surprised. Fusian Sushi is an Asian Fusian restaurant that serves the different cuisines of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and a bit of Thai food as well. While there may not be dishes that combine the various ethnic and traditional ingredients of multiple cultures into one dish, you can certainly find something on the menu to cure your craving for a variety of Asian foods. The menu here features a well rounded selection of Sushi, Sashimi, Thai Noodles, Fried Rice, Bento Boxes, and traditional Chinese takeout. I really like the idea of offering a variety of foods because often times I may want some Chinese takeout and my wife may want some sushi, but most Chinese takeout places in Central Florida do not offer sushi, and if they did… it’s probably best to stay clear of it. The sushi here is pretty good. Its not world class high end sushi, but nonetheless, it is really good for the price point. Every roll that I have had tasted good, and was plated beautifully.

Fusian is awesome. The owner, Sonny, really cares about his customers and wants to make sure that he sends out the best, tastiest sushi that he can. When you get your plate, expect for it to be beautifully displayed and you can definitely see the care that Sonny put into the food. The fish is fresh and tasty and the prices are affordable. Fave roll: The«Rock n’ Roll» — spicy tuna, spicy salmon, avocado, and a thin wedge of lemon on top. Totally fresh and delicious! Fave sashimi: Escolar The bonus: One Thursday evening a month, they host a karaōke night from 7:30pm-10:30pm. There’s no smoking and it’s family friendly and FUN! The service is good and it’s a nice, welcoming atmosphere. Give them a go!

Fusian has quickly become one of our top choices for dining out. Delicious food representing a variety of Asian influences, great service from a friendly and accommodating staff, and reasonable prices. Toss in free wi-fi and a relaxing, casual atmosphere and you’ll see why we return so often.

This place is great. The staff was super friendly, personable, and fast. I went on a Friday night, a few minutes before closing time and they did not make me feel like a nuisance in any way like other Japanese restaurants have(Yeah, I’m that guy…) Food was really tasty. I had the dancing eel roll and a Japanese beer. Overall, if I’m in the area again, I would definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

Service? Our waiter was Mr. Smarty Pants that was slow, had to get up to get the water and napkins ourselves because he just took so long. Asked him a question about Sushi Combo A, if it has to be spicy tuna rolls, can i pick another roll instead? He goes ”well, salmon is more expensive than tuna, so the price will be higher… you gotta pay what you want…” yadayadayada. I mean what the heck bro, chill and I don’t need your macho lesson on that crap. He apparently took our sushi rolls to another table, and the sushi chef had to come out and fix that for us. Good thing the other party didn’t touch the sushi rolls. I was with an elderly couple so I had to behave, otherwise I’d seriously break it out for him. Food? They either paid bunch of people to write good reviews here or they just don’t know what good sushi means. Spicy Tuna Rolls? I mean what the heck were those? I thought it was some type of hybrid disgusting Pei Wei food at first, but after tasting it, it was confirmed to be Pei Wei wanna-be, it was the worst spicy tuna rolls I ever had. the Eel roll was the only thing tolerable. Not going back ever. Don’t get fooled by the Cat/Neko, food was horrible, service was bad.

Maneki Neko surrounded by sushi and krab rangoons painted on the front wall of the building? How could you go wrong?! It made me smile, I admit [see photo]. If anything, it made me even more interested in the place. So I walk in and I’m greeted and led to a seat, happily next to another painting [see photo]. The menu is pretty bare-bones without much description, but they have a large number of lunch specials that include a main component(the usual General Tsao’s, Mongolian Beef, etc etc), white or fried rice, a spring roll, a ginger salad, and a drink. The lunch special prices range from about $ 6 to $ 7. Quite a good deal. What I ate of the lunch special was good overall. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, and the meat was extremely tender. It was pretty heavy on the onions though. The ginger salad was okay, nothing special. The spring roll was quite good, even though I don’t normally think much of them. I wanted to try the sushi too, so I ordered a roll. That was a mistake, since the lunch would turn out to be plenty of food by itself. I ordered the Yummy Roll [see photo], which also turned out to be a mistake. Now, I’m not saying that there was anything wrong with the roll, but due to the very vague descriptions on the menu, I didn’t realize that this roll is actually fried. I generally avoid all types of fried rolls because I don’t like the way they taste — with that greasy fried tempura texture and the way that it muddles the flavors of all of the components within. I didn’t like the Yummy Roll, and I left a couple of pieces on the plate. But I’m not going to hold that against them — after all, I should have asked if it was fried before I ordered it. Service was just about perfect, drink refills were quick and everyone seemed happy to be there. Great job on that front. All in all, I want to come back and try some other stuff. Especially some additional sushi — the roll I got, aside from being fried, looked quite good, the pieces were big and the price was good at around $ 9. I have high hopes that I’ll be able to add a star on my next visit.

This place used to be the best. Huge portions, the right price and they actually had chinese food outside of the usual fare that seems to be everywhere. It seems like every chinese restaurant uses the exact same ingredients from the exact same supplier, they even have the same menu pictures. Fusian was different. The orange chicken and general tsaos chicken were lean, stir fried and delicious. Unfortunately they seemed to have switched suppliers. The chicken is now the same heavily 70% bread, 30% chicken that is used all over the place. Used to be my favorite place, now it is just another generic chinese/asian restaurant. Even their service has gone down hill. They have messed up the past two sushi items I have ordered, leaving them plain and bland by forgetting ingredients. Since I usually eat to go I can’t have them fix them.(Who wants a Cowboy Roll with no avocado or cucumber?) I still give it 2 stars with the hope that this past week has been an anomaly and they go back to their original style.
