Flippers Pizzeria

Overall it was good. Food was good, but nothing outstanding. Service was good, but not exceptional. I’m visiting the area and would probably not return. Not great, not bad, but it was open until midnight which was a deciding factor since many places were closed after we left the parks

Do not bother with delivery. You may never get it.
We ordered a pizza online with a posted eta of 45 minutes. An hour went by and we tried to give them a call to check on our order only to be answered with «thank you for calling flippers sorry we’re closed», spoken at the speed of light with an immediate hangup. Two more attempts and I had to yell «do not hang up I’m checking on my order» to get their attention to which they responded by asking if we were the order at westgate lakes resort (which we were). I suggested they shouldn’t hang up customers in that manner and they were completely unapologetic. I know things can run late but they were rude on the phone and handled it poorly.
Pizza came half an hour late and frankly, it wasn’t worth waiting 5 minutes for let alone an hour and 15.
Do not recommend.

Came here with a sub In mind ended up getting the meatball ricotta. I’m in love with it can’t say anything bad. I does take 15 mins to make which is not a bad wait for fresh food. I’m sure we will be back before leaving orlando

I just made a Unilocal to write a review on this place. It was extremely good. My whole family loved what they got, including me who got the best calzone I’ve ever had in my life. The service was very good too. I highly recommend!

If you have a Domino’s or Pizza Hut nearby you’re better off ordering from them. This had to be one of the worst pizzas that I have ever eaten. You may be better off buying the storebrand frozen pizza or maybe going to a gas station that sells pizza and it will be better than flippers. Enough said!

I ordered a small pizza at 1:08pm and now its 1:46 pm and my order is not ready yet while they told me its gonna take 15 minutes!
Its my first and last time to order from this place

I got a 10″ pizza; half buffalo chicken half cheese. I asked for the pizza well-​done because I like crispy pizza. My pizza wasn’t crispy, but that could’ve been because I picked it up to bring back to the office. It’s too tasty to be picky though! I usually order the breadsticks so I strongly recommend them!

Gooood Pizza’ crunchy bottom crust not too much cheese just enough sauce, pepperoni hidden under cheese but it was there, Clean place eat in or take out’

Had a nice dinner at Flippers in Metro West. The restaurant was empty when I got there. We were the only guests at the time. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. She welcomed us to Flippers and asked if we were dining in or carrying out. Once we were seated, we greeted by the same person, Sarah. She smiled, made eye contact and was very enthusiastic. We had a little incident with one of my kids. My niece was sick and threw up on the floor right in front of Sarah. Sarah did not seem bothered by it and got a mop to clean up the mess. The manager even came over and asked if everything was okay and offered us some water for my niece.
Sarah then came back and introduced herself to us as our server. She placed food menus, silverware rolls, Romano Cheese and Crushed Red Pepper on the table. She offered us Pepsi Products and Fresh Brewed Tea. I saw they had bottle of wine in the restaurant and inquired about the wine. I ordered a glass of wine. My guests ordered soft drinks and lemonade. Sarah asked if we were ready to order but did not make any suggestions. As I had been to another Flippers before I knew what I wanted. The Ricotta Meatballs was good at the last location I had it, so I ordered it again. For the kids, we ordered a large thin crust pizza. At this pizza place, you can have the different toppings on each half. We ordered half pepperoni and half meatballs. I also ordered a Steak and Cheese sandwich.
The Ricotta Meatballs was delicious. It’s a serving of meatballs cut into halves on top of marinara sauce topped with ricotta cheese. It was served steaming hot and was delicious. The Pizza was served hot. It was very cheesy with just the right amount of cheese and toppings on each half. The kids enjoyed it. The Steak and Cheese sandwich was huge with grilled steak slices, caramelized onions and cheese. All food items were delicious. I would definitely order them again

Don’t let the casual and basic atmosphere fool you. Really excellent pizza. Better than I anticipated. Not like a chain or buffet pizza at all. Think casual gourmet. The service was also excellent.

Great for those staying in the Universal area. Open till midnight so you can get dinner after the parks close. Pizza is great as well as the cheese bread and calzone. Wings are oven cooked which I don’t prefer but not bad.

I really wanted Flippers to be our «go to» for pizza and wings, but it just didn’t cut it. At all.
I placed a takeout order. I ordered a small personal thin w/​pepperoni and pineapple. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza. There’s nothing worst than feeling like you’re eating cheese with crust. Very disappointing. For my husband he got the boneless wings and buffalo style wings. I ordered them extra crispy. I hate to even say this and admit that I’ve tried them but the boneless wings at Dominos is much better. They were small nugget size that left me not wanting more. The wings were average. For the price I thought there would be one thing we liked.
Upon completion of my take out order I asked the girl if they had any stouts or Guinness. I would have loved a nice cold beer while I waited. She quickly said no and did not offer me the wine or beer list. As I sat there for my order I actually had to get up and look at the bottles to see what wines they had. There was a small tent sign on the table that stated they had craft beers. I’m a craft beer fan! Now if she would’ve suggested something else or even the menu I would’ve ordered something.
Sadly, I won’t be back. We will continue our quest for our Orlando P/​W place…

Fresh ingredients. Reasonable service speed. Having more than one waitress on shift is recommended for faster service. 4 stars.

Review was right on. My wife and I had the Margarita pizza and my daughter had the kid’s pasta alfredo. Great lunch before jumping on a plane for NH.

The best bread sticks I have ever had. We ordered an alfredo chicken pasta that was creamy and delicious would defiantly go back.

I ordered a veggie sandwich and a salad through their online website!
The sandwich was the bomb!
They called me back and told me they were out of one of the key ingredients in the salad I ordered, and didn’t they offer a price adjustments!
So I paid $ 9 for a bowl of spinach!
When my order arrived at my hotel room, there wasn’t any utensils to eat my salad with!
The salad was good, even if was missing a key ingredient, and having to eat it with my fingers!

After walking around Universal all day, my brother was not interested in going out to dinner. So to Unilocal I go to find something that will deliver. We both love pizza and I wanted to try something local, so we settled on Flippers. There were no issues with delivering to our hotel. I assume they must be used to it since they are located around Universal. We couldn’t decide on a speciality pizza so we ordered a traditional brick oven pizza. On my half, I got pepperoni and garlic. It was very yummy. My brother also enjoyed the pizza. I would get this again if happen to be visiting the area in the future.
