Firehouse Subs

We got takeout here after a long day at Disney. The subs were big and satisfying.
I had a meatball sub and my husband had an Italian sub. Even the kid sized meatball sub was rather large and was very good.
A great option for a quick dinner.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!
Stopped here for a quick bite and it took 10 minutes to get our subs and it was dead in there!
Black girl was constantly stopping to talk to other workers and laughing and joking with them. She even walked away into the back room while our subs were just sitting there getting cold. Finally she comes to our table with attitude and literally — I kid you not– puts our trays on the table and says «I don’t know» and walked away. I was like, excuse me??? And she said again with a lazy and rude demeanor «I don’t know who ordered what» and walked away. Astonished, we ate our very funny tasting subs and left — never to return to another Firehouse subs again.

The service was semi fast but the place was clean and the food was fresh. I will go back to this one, but would like to see about maybe a discount for local area businesses.

Stopped in after a long day at Disney’s Epcot, and came in as they were turning off the neon open sign. Staff was friendly and said we could eat because we made it in time. Customer service at it’s finest right there.
I ordered the #1 «Hook and Ladder» sub, which the cashier told me was their best seller. It has smoked turkey breast, honey ham, and Monterey Jack cheese. I would rate it as an average sub.
FYI: all the subs here are served toasted and hot, so don’t expect cold cuts like at Subway.

Food Pros:
My sub had a generous portion of meat, and wasn’t as salty as some subs I’ve had at other establishments. The whole wheat bread was nice and soft too.
Food Cons:
They went a little too heavy on the mayo, and the tomato wasn’t ripe (hard and a pale color).

Establishment was clean, well lit, and they had one of those really cool multi-​flavor digital Coke machines! The staff was personable as well.
As far as value goes, the $ 8 price range seemed a little steep for a medium sub (it didn’t fill me up), but I guess for the area it’s not too bad.
Bottom line: OK sub and friendly staff, but not exactly a «dining destination». ³⁄₅

One of my favorite fast food places. I love a good sandwich. The steamer is the one I usually go for; delicious pastrami and corned beef. The also offer a hot sauce «bar» where you can choose from over 20 different hot sauces; they are numbered from mild to hot in a scale of 1 to 10. The location looks pretty clean and the staff is courteous. I’m so glad this new location is so close to me now and I’ll be back pretty often.
