This place has lived up to all the good reviews I’ve seen and heard. Here for the republican debate and loving it. GOD bless America and Doc’s Street Side Grille

I don’t feel this Place deserves any stars(I only put one because Unilocal makes you in order to proceed with your review). I’m a hospital employee who has eaten here with coworker’s 3 – 4 times(mostly due to the convenience of location). Each time the service has been worse than the previous. Service is always slow especially if you sit outside. Last week I went with coworker’s to celebrate my bday. The waiter was obviously sick with snot running down his nose as we ordered. There were moments that he’d wipe with snot in his shirt near our table. Besides that, it took forever to get our food. Everyone got their food before me. We had to ask the waiter to check on my meal twice. My food came out when my coworker’s were done eating. I ordered the BLT. When my food did finally come the fries were cold and there was a hair on my sandwich. On top of that, the waiter took forever to refill our drinks. When he finally did, he refilled my coworker’s drink incorrectly despite verbal confirmation of her drink choice immediately prior to him pouring into her cup. I usually don’t write reviews but this place is just ridiculous! I would caution anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. It’s bound to be an upset if you do.

Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees. Ate there to watch the debates on 9⁄16. Service was friendly and efficient. There is a small bar in front, but we came to eat! Were seated in a large room with televisions everywhere and a 100″ tv in the front of the dining area. My husband had a burger and fries and it looked wonderful and must have been because he didn’t share ;(I ordered the salmon — got two small-ish, dry pieces of fish and a small mixture of the vegetable of the day — squash — all arranged on the edge of the dish because most of the dish was taken up by a HUGE slab on white, tasteless rice. Not worth the money they charged, that’s for sure. For dessert we shared a lava cake which was delicious, but rather small. Since this is a grill I feel they might do better sticking to various types of burgers and sandwiches. Rather noisy, so wouldn’t go here for the conversation, but the group was fun and people cheered their favorites. Might come back for the next debate. ..

Good food — love the flatbread. Was there for a meeting and can’t complain. They have a nice meeting room/event room upstairs. Good service. Will be back!

Dined at this restaurant on July 9, 2015. I have probably eaten there a dozen times or more as part of a group. The food quality is average and their service is slower than slow. On this visit, it took them an hour and fifteen minutes to bring me salmon with rice and mixed vegetables. I ended up having the food boxed to take home as I had run out of time to eat. The food turned out to be just so-so. If you have a choice, try another restaurant. I can’t recommend this place.

Worst service ever. Manager was drunk and the bartender rude. I live within walking distance and I’d never set foot in this place again. The only reason they exist is to suck the life out of friends and family visiting hospital patients. Don’t go.

Blaise, the owner and his son and Manager Keegan have done a great job in creating good food and fun atmosphere. I’ve been coming to Docs for years. I keep coming back for many reasons. Friendly staff remembers your name. The food is good. They have good entertainment there. I like it to watch pro soccer on the many big screen tvs there. Great variety in the menu. I’m hooked on the fish tacos. I also like the upstairs section that you can rent out. Great for parties or meetings. Easy to park on the street across from the hospital or in the covered garage. Overall, great sports bar.

Dined here on Valentines day. They featured a fixed three course dinner for two for fifty dollars! Started with a choice of salad or soup, entrée of surf n’ turf and dessert was a raspberry garnished chocolate mousse. The portions were generous, not too small but not massive. For the fair pricing my expectations were far exceeded. The ambiance was pretty decent. Could have done without the red table cloths because they were a little too long and draped all the way to the floor so they were getting in the way of my leg room. The pattern on the booths are definitely dated, but I loved the bar area. The music was awesome, I loved the selection of songs! They played some great classic love songs!!! They even got some people slow dancing in what was a perfect little makeshift dance floor. Service was great, attentive and precise! The food was super yummy! Was very pleased that my husband picked such a yummy & affordable dinner!

Just a lovely Valentine’s Day experience! The prix fix menu of caesar salad, surf & turf, and chocolate mousse was spectacular! Will definitely be coming back!

Slowest service ever. Fish tacos were bland and had no sauce or flavor. Received the wrong entrée for 1 of our party of 3. Bad. Just bad. Waiter nowhere to be found to recify any of these issues. 1 star for my husband’s ok burger. Really… who can’t do a good burger?

Soooo, this is my 3rd time here and this is what I see. Food is ok, basic menu is either a hit or miss depending not sure on what factors? I have to say the service is good is not the staff, is the menu and the way the place is run, it has a small bar area in the front and as you walk farther into the restaurant you see a stage and the seating area, is a bit awkward, I try, at different times of course the stakes, ribs, salads. is ok for a quick bite, beer selection is very bad, they do have a full bar, there is much better out there. It is a good location with lots of traffic so there is potential. Enjoy it.

Had a pretty miserable experience here. Was across the street visiting my dad in the hospital and stopped in for a bite to eat. The only reason for the extra star is because our server was good. There was an extremely intoxicated piano player/singer providing«entertainment» that evening who proceeded to harass us throughout our visit. He had a few drunk spectators who seemed to be friends, and that was it. No wonder those were the only people in this giant restaurant. He sang about a song and a half and spent the rest of the time yelling at people through the mic. I would think twice about letting this jerk play there again… anyway the food way very underwhelming as well… the Parmesan on the Caesar salad was old and borderline stale, and the flatbread wasn’t any better. Will not be returning.

Great experience, friendly servers, nice lighting and atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. One of the best steaks I ever had in Florida. This is my third time eating here in the last month and each time the steaks, chicken and fish were very tender and cooked to perfection. And the price was very reasonable. And the parking is free, too. I am looking forward to our next visit, and bringing some clients too.

We had a Xmas party here for my wife’s work. It was on the 3rd floor and it was a really large open room with a balcony, private restrooms, bar and tables. They had multiple large flat screen televisions playing Christmas movies like Elf and National Lampoon’s Family Christmas, etc. There was a buffet setup and they had banquet people working. There was plenty of space for a small dance floor. We even had a DJ there with all the lights and stuff. The bar was very adequate. They had a full range of liquor and beer, also soda and water. Service was quick and painless. The food was acceptable. It was all finger food but not typical. They served bacon wrapped shrimp, skewers, stuffed mushrooms, flat bread pizza, artichoke dip, etc. Plenty of parking on the street with valet covered parking also. Easy access through the elevators and located just south of the 408 across from the new ORMC. 4⁄5 stars because it looked a little dated. There was some repair work going on but I think if they fixed it up it would look a lot better.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this place. We meet here with an alumni group to watch football. They never have enough servers. The food is served cold and if you send it back you must go to the end of the line because it takes longer to get it back than it took to get it the 1st time. Don’t wast your time.

disappointing. We always sit in the bar area to watch the games, but the restaurant area is so loud. Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around? I’m not sure who picks the bands for that side, but please stop. My order is routinely wrong and I swear their entire menu is chicken based. I will say their beer specials are pretty nice, and their selection is very respectable. The staff is nice, but muted. They’re good servers but there is no above and beyond.

First time trying this place out with my colleagues. Clean place. Server was nice. Ordered an entrée and asked to exclude the tomatoes and explained I have a high food sensitivity to it. Got my meal, took two bites and saw the tomatoes. Didn’t have time to reorder. Still hungry. Seemed like the tomatoes was cooked with the batch of food as 3 of us ordered the same thing. Started to get a reaction and had to pop a Benadryl at work. Not okay. I’m giving one star because food allergies are not a joke and should be taken seriously!

Popped in here one night for a joint birthday party. My first time here but what a strange layout of a place. Tiny bar as you walk in then on further investigation as you walk around the bar there is a huge space with a stage at one end and an open kitchen on one side. It seemed ok. I’ll be honest it was a gorgeous night and so I spent most of it outside on the patio. It’s a good sized patio with plenty of fans for the warmer nights. The place seemed ok although I didn’t eat so I can’t comment on the menu but my one complaint was the area that the party was in was a little too bright for me… Dim down those lights some please…

Ssh — Keep your voice down. What do you think this is, the public library? Welcome to the quietest sports bar in Orlando, Doc’s Streetside Grill. Do you remember Doc’s Restaurant, with the $ 35 crab cake and the $ 25 limp chicken entrée, the cheapest item on the dinner menu? Remember the accompanying side of cold-to-lukewarm green rice in the shape of an apple?(An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Get it? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!) Well Doc’s, not to my surprise, folded; and in its place along came Legends Sports Bar. Now under new ownership(by doctors again, I suppose), there’s Doc’s Streetside Grill, an alleged sports bar with an impressive outdoor seating area. From my vantage point, I was able to view a film about the legendary Indian athlete Mahatma Gandhi. The joint wasn’t what I would call hopping, yet it took me quite some time to be waited on. But to be serious for a moment, the veggie flatbread appetizer(appetizers are generally more expensive than entrees here) was darned good, and my Key Lime Pie hit the spot. Don’t go out of your way to visit Doc’s, but if you’re in the area of Orlando Health on South Orange, give them a try. In spite of their flaws, I’d like to see them succeed.

A welcome rebirth of an independent restaurant. It has a refined casual and not a ‘corporate’ restaurant interior. A Cute and cozy bar is in the entry. There’s a large dining room – a mix of booths and simple tables. Not too loud. This is a very welcome culinary choice given the dearth of restaurants near Orlando Regional Medical Center. There is something for everyone on the menu, and it’s not expensive. I had the grilled salmon, which was wonderful and seasoned with fresh herbs. But, like almost every other restaurant in Florida, you cannot escape a direct view of one of the many televisions in the dining room.(Is this the TV department in Best Buy??) The lighting in the bar is sexy but the sensible and unflattering overhead lighting in the dining room is reminiscent of aisle 4 in Publix – but that could be easily fixed…
