We ate here early on a June 2nd Thursday evening. There was plenty of open seating, and although we were dressed like out-of-town tourists, they seated us immediately. I went for the meatloaf & mashed potatoes entrée, while my wife and daughter just got a couple of sides to create a meal(vegetables and such). All the food was excellent and so was the service. The wait staff was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely come back and recommend Copper Canyon Grill to anyone in Orlando.

Five stars for dinner salmon! One of best salmon plates I’ve had. Don’t take their recommendation for medium — go for medium-rare. Ask for outside table for view.

Being located in a town that attracts people by the hundreds of thousands, I imagine you have to be at the top of your game when it comes to dining. And Copper Canyon delivers. My husband and I were in Orlando for vacation, but were pretty theme parked out and wanted to have a nice dinner out. Following the lead of my fellow Unilocalers, I found this place and we gave it a shot. I am so glad we did! I ordered a rotisserie chicken salad and a glass of wine. No joke, this chicken is to die for. They must marinade it in happiness because I was smiling with each bite. And the dressing on it is fabulous. It’s been 2 months and I’m still thinking about it. From there, my husband and I shared a piece of key lime pie. Now, I thought the salad was good, but this was other worldly. My husband, who doesn’t really like key lime pie, even commented how good it was. The key lime was the perfect amount of tartness, and then throw in the whipped topping and sugary graham cracker crust + sprinkles and boom! Magical. I’m pretty sure I had one of those perfect meals that may never happen again. Everything was working: the food, the atmosphere, the service, my mood. But I will absolutely try to re-create it the next time I’m near a Copper Canyon.

Food is pretty good, attentive waitresses, & tasty drinks. It wasn’t crowded when we went on a Friday night which I was a bit surprised. Dimmed romantic mood, great for a date night but expect to pay $ 20+ for dinner and $ 10 for a mixed drink. I would recommend coming here :) They validate parking but not valet parking. It was a bummer to find that out so you’ve been warned!

Had a great dinner tonight at Copper Canyon in Orlando. I had the Slow Smoked Steak and it was delicious. I’d highly recommend that, as well as the coconut shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp were huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. For dessert, I shard the bread pudding, carrot cake and the chocolate cake. They were all delicious and the portion sizes are pretty big, so you will need help. The cocktails were also very tasty, so my companions said, as I don’t drink alcohol. All in all, I’d highly recommend Copper Canton. Bön appetite!

Let me say that I was very impressed by this restaurant. I stopped in for a quick/light dinner, so really didn’t get to experience everything the menu has to offer. There were three greeters at the door that got us seated right away. It was a Saturday night at 7pm and there were still seats available. Once at the table we were greeted by a duo(waiter and waitress) that would be helping us. You usually don’t get that type of service unless you are at a super high end place. I am not suggesting this place is low end, but the service was top notch. Everything is prepared from scratch, so they warned there might be a bit of a wait time for the food. We ordered two meals. The Seared Tuna Salad and the Atlantic Salmon. The Atlantic Salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was accompanied by a mashed potato(mix of something) and rice. Whatever was in the mashed potatoes was excellent and they were creamy and rich. The rice didn’t look like much, but surprised you with the amount of flavor in the rice. The Seared Tuna Salad was a very large salad with all sorts of good stuff in it, like avocado but with an Asia dressing and flavors. The tuna was seared nicely and coated in sesame. It came with wasabi that was the real deal. After our meal, a waitress, that was not ours walked by and saw that we were done and offered to remove our plates. She also asked if we wanted dessert and took our order. She wasn’t even our waitress. What restaurant does this? What a pleasant surprise. We shared a Chocolate Uprising. This was a layer desert with chocolate cake, fudge, and whipped cream. Outstanding and worth a try. The service is really great and so is the food. The food is fresh, prepared carefully and loaded with flavor. Sitting here writing the review, I feel like a cheapskate for leaving a 20% tip.

Pricey, but really good food. I chose CCG because of the Unilocal reviews and pics, and was not disappointed. Our total was around $ 83 w/tip(for a party of 2), but I must say again, the food was really good! Our order: — — — - Appetizer: Caesar Salad(large enough to share) Me: Wood-Fired Rotisserie chicken w/¼ rack of BBQ ribs, redskin mashed potatoes, and Mac, Bacon & Cheese. Drink: water w/lemon Daughter: Barbeque Ribs, French Fries, and Mac, Bacon & Cheese. Drink: Pink Lemonade. Item review: — — — - Wood-Fired Rotisserie chicken — It was well seasoned, moist and flavorful. In my experience, there’s only so much you can do to enhance the taste of rotisserie chicken, and CCG’s rotisserie chicken was spot on. The only thing they need to do is to serve it with a homemade gravy and it would be 10 out of 10. Redskin mashed potatoes — In all fairness, they were good, but I can’t stand the taste of green onions and there were too many for me to pick out, so I didn’t eat much of this dish. Mac, Bacon & Cheese — 10⁄10. Very creamy and rich. Barbeque Ribs — Outstanding! Hands down some of the best smoked ribs I’ve tasted in Orlando. My daughter and I were raving about how surprisingly good they were. Nothing but fall-off-the-bone goodness! French Fries — Good, but nothing too special. Caesar salad — The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I found a bug in our Caesar salad. Our waiter apologized, immediately took the salad plate, and the manager delivered us a new Caesar salad at no charge. The salad itself is not the traditional creamy Caesar dressing. They added red peppers which gives it a mild-warm flavor. It’s not spicy, just different. Despite the mishap w/the Ceasar salad, we’ll definitely go back, and would highly recommend you try the Wood-Fired Rotisserie chicken or Barbeque Ribs.

Foul. Just plain foul. I was presented with a plate of ribs that were barely defrosted, let alone cooked. I our hyper friendly waiter to take them back. 10 minutes later I am presented with the same ribs. They are still undercooked but the bbq sauce on the top is now burnt and gross from having been placed under a broiler. This is a putrid chain restaurant with lousy food. Save your money and go to McDonalds.

Our first time here, and I would definitely come again. Staff were nice and professional upon entering and throughout the dinner. We came on a Friday evening and were seated right away, surprisingly. It’s in the heart of International Drive, and if you love chicken, this is the place to go! The low light ambiance was great, the noise and music not too obnoxious but lively. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer, and although we wanted to try the all famous roasted chicken, we went for the cobb salad, which had the same chicken atop with avacado ranch dressing and delicious croutons. We got full as we waited for our rattlesnake snake pasta, which we boxed and took home. I would definitely recommend this place, just watch out for the price! Not the cheapest place in town, and knowing myself, if I do come back to Orlando again, I would try something new anyways Edit: I enjoyed this place and I would recommend it to others, especially if you like chicken. And if asked if I would come back to this place again, my answer would be yes.

A group of 5 of us staying nearby wanted to find someplace that would satisfy the various preferences of everyone … So I once again turned to my Unilocal friends to find a great location, close by, right priced with great reviews. Thanks! You came through again! Ambiance was great — close by the convention center in the middle of a great entertainment district. Service was fantastic! One of the group selected the Rotisserie chicken — one of their specialties. She loved her food and was very satisfied with her meal. Two selected the chicken Pot Pie. This was an individual serving in a small cast iron skillet. Great idea! Right sized, flavorful and loaded with veggies and chicken. It hit the spot. I had the Big Meatloaf Stack. Ground beef tenderloin, spicy pork sausage, and mixed cheeses. Topped with a tomato/brown sauce. Mashed potatoes. I swapped out the green beans for the veggie of the day — still green beans but wok fried with a bit of soy, etc. Very good! Only complaint — the food could have been a bit warmer. The star of the show seamed to be my dining companions Short Smoked Atlantic Salmon. He said it was the best salmon he had ever had. I’ll have to go back sometime and try it! Thanks helpers … And thanks Copper Canyon Grill!

I was in Orlando for a conference and wandered over here to get dinner. I found a seat at the outside bar — it’s kind of weird dining at a table when you’re eating by yourself. The bartender was very friendly! I ordered an uptown old fashion to start. I think that it had a little bit too much biters to start, but once the ice started melting, it tasted better. I also ordered the fish of the day. I was deciding between the ribs and the fish, as they are known for their ribs. However, the fish of the day won out because they had mahi mahi that day and it’s my favorite kind of fish! They did a good job of seasoning the fish — just flavorful enough, but not overpowering, and the fish was cooked perfectly!

My husband and I came here on our first night at Orlando. We didn’t really know what to eat but this restaurant was found in a mall with many other restaurants. What’s awesome is that they validate parking so we didnt have to pay for parking! Our server was really nice and accomodating. got us what we needed. We started with their spinach and artichoke dip. My husband felt it was too salty for his liking, but I thought it was decent. For entrée I had their cobb salad. It was huge! It was pretty good, too. I forgot what my husband had. It was a Saturday night and it was not crowded. We were surprised. We came at normal dinner time hours 630−7pm and stayed til 8pm and it was pretty empty. The restaurant is dimly lit with sports on the TV by the bar.

Excellent dinner. Meat was cooked as ordered and very well priced. The desert was yummie as suggested by our server, ebony. Service was friendly and very helpful. Ebony was nothing but fantastic!

My first time here in Orlando and wanted to try some restaurants to see how the food was. Loved the food here! A great mix of different food choices(chicken pot pie, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, etc) along with great service! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Portions were also very large and well worth the price! You can basically split the meal into two meals for someone who does not eat that much. Definitely recommend coming here! A nice cozy area to eat at too because they have booths :)

A perfect mid-range ‘occasion’ restaurant with a crowd-pleasing menu and superb service. I went here with a small group for a friend’s graduation, and judging from the other tables there were lots of celebrations here. Skillet cornbread with serrano and jalapeño was the perfect balance of sweet and hot, with a wonderful lightness to the bread. I am not normally a fan of cornbread but this was crumbly and pillowy at the same time — excellent bread. Red trout was cooked firm, the way I like it, and had fresh, clean flavor. The balsamic tomatoes didn’t overpower it but had enough acidity to balance the fish, and wild rice offered a textural contrast. Desserts… ‘Chocolate uprising’ was an absurdly oversized brownie stuffed with ice cream and topped with a Jupiterial sphere of vanilla-infused whipped cream. If you don’t like this, you don’t like desserts. Bread pudding was wonderful, too, with great crusty edges and a succulent middle. Our party of six was all more than satisfied with our orders — this place works for groups of disparate tastes. I did not see the check but two courses and an alcoholic drink per person is probably in the $ 30 – 50 range. A quick note on the service: it was wonderful. Wish I’d caught our waiter’s name because he was brilliant knew the menu backwards, even knowing the canned(not bottled) beer selection by style. A delightful guy. It’s not going to win any awards for innovation but if you want to take the family, kids included, to a white tablecloth joint for food they will like, this is your place.

My friends and I go to different restaurants for our birthdays. So the birthday«girl» suggested Copper Canyon. First the positive review… service was excellent, portions huge and we were seated immediately(unfortunately next to a large table and the acoustics made it difficult to hear one another). Having read extensively the positive reviews on Unilocal,I requested a crab cake appetizer(not on menu)…it was too spicy for me so the waiter was willing to substitute and I chose the chicken noodle soup… delicious. Again, the reviews favorably mentioned the wood grilled steak salad… was not happy at all with mine… overwhelmed with mixed greens but the rest of the ingredients were hard to find… red onions, tomatoes, asian pear, smoked gouda and only about five pieces of filet. The dessert bread pudding was huge and although tasty was too dense for my taste. My companions ordered the rotisserie chicken, ribs and crab cakes. The ribs were good but not the best she had eaten, my friend who ordered the crab cakes entrée was happy with her choice(she obviously could handle spicy), and the rotisserie chicken I was told was very good. Thus the 3 stars. And although we mentioned it was a birthday dinner, the waiter just mentioned happy birthday, unlike the other restaurants we had gone to… a free dessert, a cupcake with a candle on it, etc. Also, we had to park in the Pointe Orlando garage and received a coupon for«complimentary» parking from the restaurant, still had to pay reduced charge of $ 4.00…won’t be back!

I thought this was a winner but my hopes were cut short. a glass of wine I ordered was either corked or had lighter fluid in the glass. food was good, but crazy overpriced without reinventing the wheel. so many other worthy contenders around to treat my belly on a night out.

We came here for dinner w my husband and kids, I was in the search of a good steak, the menu at this restaurant wasn’t as big but I guess they specialist in roast chicken, I order the hickory grilled tenderloin, it was very good and tender. My husband got the ribs and my kids club sandwich. Everything else besides my steak was just ok. I felt like the prices where to high for this type of food. $ 18 for a club sandwich and fries. Prob wouldn’t go back. The services was good, they kept our drinks fill. Overall experience was good but not worth the bill.
Definitely coming back here! Highly recommended for a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, stellar service, and such a great twist on American cuisine. I can’t think of anything for them to improve upon, so 5 stars… solid. We met two friends for dinner and were promptly given our drink orders, answers to our menu questions and even the food came out fairly quickly during a busy dinner time. The booths were very nice and comfy! I ordered the Lodi cab and the Rotisserie Chicken Salad. BLEW. MY. MIND. Good amount of chicken, black beans, Monterey Jack cheese, corn, chipotle-blue cheese, avocado, BBQ sauce, cilantro… ok, just order it. Seriously. :-) I’m not a big salad guy and I loved this. Almost couldn’t finish it to get to the corn bread it came with. Friends had the Filet Mignon, the Chicken Pot Pie and one of the sandwiches. All were pleased!
