When I come out of work late. And no place for sushi open. Just come here and have some. Even though is expensive.

Portions were HUGE but the actual quality of the food was«meh». The steamed dumplings were so overcooked you couldn’t even pick them up with a fork without them falling apart! Disgusting… The fried rice had a good taste but it was so salty… my husband couldn’t eat much without water. My beef/broccoli was good but I’m pretty sure it was just the MSG because the beef seemed old/chewy… I ended up having a stomach ache later so I’m positive now. Additionally there were some people who were waiting for their food a LONG time(20 mins minimum) & they didn’t look happy at all. I’d skip it and go to the Border Grill across the parking lot. We won’t be back.

Really good food for a suspicious looking food truck. I had doubts when I first went, but they really surprised me. I haven’t tried the sushi but, the Chinese food I’ve had has all been really good and I eat there all the time. Definitely give it a try if you want affordable good Chinese food.

I seeing reviews go up and down about Chen’s. I’ve eaten their food on more than 1 occasion and I haven’t been disappointed so far. Very tasty.

It’s a Chinese food truck and it’s very dirty! Customer service is lacking too. The lady who picked up phone calls was very rude! I asked her questions about their house special fried rice and she replied: we are very busy, are you going to make the order or not? I told her the reason I called in was to make the order! She said: ok! and hung up the phone on me!!! Service was extremely rude, and the food is below the average. I would recommend to pass on this place not just because of the rude service but the sanitary conditions that could likely put you in the hospital.

Sometimes when you travel, you just want a taste of home even if you think it will be mediocre. That’s how we came across Chen’s Express. I was really craving rice and I knew that Orlando has a very small Asian population, at 4%, but I still wanted Chinese food and prepared myself for mediocrity. But Chen’s Express was SOGOOD! They offer huge, properly seasoned portions at a great price. The Mongolian Beef was excellent and my husband liked his sweet and sour pork. We even came back the next day because we liked it so much! Also, don’t be afraid to ask for customizations. For example, I wanted broccoli, mushrooms, and beef even though that is not a menu item. Just ask and he’ll make it for you. It’s all made fresh to order so you might have to wait a few minutes, so set your expectations. Also, this is a food truck and there are a few tables outside of it if you want to eat there, but you’ll probably be happier just taking it to go and eating it at home/in your hotel.

Me and my family were just visiting and we came from Universal to our hotel at around 10PM. There weren’t many options so when we saw this stationary food truck was opened until 1 midnight, we decided to give it a go. The one guy in the«truck» was a machine, he gave us our orders in 10 minutes along with 5 other people’s orders at the same time. Personally, I have to say the shrimp fried rice was good, the mongolian beef and chicken with mushroom was mediocre but fine enough to keep eating. The servings are quite large so it lasted us until breakfast. It’s a good place for late night chinese.

Yes, portions are huge! This pictured is a small! Filling, but not the greatest. Perfect for a hotel room dinner. He didn’t give us any napkins or fortune cookies. Is that bad luck? Good thing i don’t believe in that. But we should have. Remember when trying to find … you are looking for A FOODTRUCK, not connected to a building. That threw us off.

Definitely worth trying. Not the dull, bland Chinese you’re used to. Their chicken dishes are great. Lots of flavor, maybe too much for some.

First off I will start by saying that holy big portions! I love the fact that you can go here order, let’s say, orange chicken w fried rice. You get a the big 3 compartment Styrofoam Togo container full of nothing but chicken and another smaller Togo w the fried rice. Giving you so much food you can surely share for two maybe even three small ppl! Another thing is that the flavors are very powerful in a good way. As a vegan I order the ma po tofu and every time it’s amazing. What’s even better is that it’s open later than most places!

I was recommended to this food truck hearing that its the best. I was very disappointed Ordered the beef lo mein and the pork friend rice. Ordered both extra dark. Neither of them were very tasty. The beef lo mein was ok but nothing special. The fried rice was very bland. Lacking in flavor prices were decent. An they charge $ 1 per cup for there spicy chili oil. Over all i was very disappointed. If i was hungry an in the area i might stop by again but i definitely wont be becoming a regular

The food was fresh but fried rice was overly saturated with soy sauce. It was very dark brown in color with Americanized peas and carrots which I don’t care for. I prefer traditional fried rice with egg, bean sprouts and green onions which is very hard to find anywhere. Husband had Mongolian beef which he said was good. We had chicken wings which were on the fatty side and over breaded. I also had the shrimp lo mein and it was ok.

A 5 stars based solely on food. A whole In the wall as to speak. But flavors are under control, on point and straight out delicious!

The food is really good, for the Chinese food, the portion is really big(we got a small for me and my boyfriend and it was enough, we eat quite a bit lol) Their fried rice is the best I’ve had. My boyfriend doesn’t normally like Chinese food and he is hooked on this place.

Absolutely love this place. It’s a hidden gem right off of Kirkman. We discovered it when I first moved to Orlando and every time we crave Chinese food we go here. Food is always fresh, not too much sauce or salt. Even the sushi was pretty darn good. Not what we expected coming from a food truck!

Bad. Food was Greasy. I spent $ 11 on walnut shrimp with no walnuts. Everything was greasy and just loaded with soy sauce. No technique.

I only eat Chinese from Chen’s Express. My boyfriend and I go about once a week. The people are the SWEETEST ever, and they make everything FRESH(but I assure you it’s worth the wait). You can’t go wrong with any of the food; everything is DELICIOUS! I personally love their sushi and lo mien. Please don’t fret the truck. The only problem will be how to finish the portions: p Definitely get your money’s worth here.
