Beyond Alteration

Beyond Alterations is amazing! I took my wedding dress there 4 days before my wedding to have emergency alterations done and they did them as requested and to perfection! I had a fitted A-​line dress that I wanted made into a mermaid. I also need to have the back panel by my corset adjusted because there was a space still showing skin when I tied up the corset. My mother was suppose to do these changes the weekend before my wedding, but realized her sewing machine wasn’t working. The next day (4 days before wedding day) I took my dress to Beyond Alterations and they quickly got me into my dress, pinned where needed charged me only $ 60 for all the alterations!!! I told them I needed it back the day before the wedding and when I picked it up, it was perfect! I will go back to them in the future. Before and after pics show there amazing work! Also, the owner also added a bustle button, which was missing from my dress at no charge!

Only alteration place I’ve used in Orlando that actually did the alterations properly the first time. Their dry cleaning is a bit on the pricey side, and they don’t use as much starch as I like on my shirts (which I will request next time I use them), but they do a much better job than most of the other places I’ve used in the area.
Also, the service is pretty good, last time I was there it was a lady and her daughter behind the counter, the lady was in the middle of taking some guys measurements and the girl was I think just hanging out after school, but instead of just sitting there she helped me get the 30 – 40 items out and organized so I could be rung up faster when all was said and done.

I have been using Beyond Alterations for several years. This business is owned by a husband and wife team. Wonderful couple. If you need your hem raised or want a custom suit made this is the place for you. They can even work on very complex sewing jobs.
Good work at a very fair price.
They also take in dry cleaning.

DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE!!! They are a complete joke! I left my wedding dress with them to have appliques sewn on the back… I called them back to fidn out when I could pick up the dress and they told me I needed to come in for a fitting for the bustle… ummmm, WHAT BUSTLE!!! I never asked for a bustle, my paperwork doesn’t say bustle… so I proceed to ask them why they put a bustle in without my permission and the lady’s answer is that she wanted me to see how it would look on my dress. So let me get this right… you literally put a needle and thread through my wedding dress without my permission to SEE if I would like it!!! Are you freaking insane??? Psycho much???
I told her I would be in to pick up my dress THAT DAY and she told me I couldn’t. I demanded that they remove the bustle and she still said I couldn’t pick up my dress. I am currently fighting them to get my dress back, 5 weeks before my wedding, and I will NEVER go to them again. Every person I know will hear this story and they will lose our business FOREVER. Protect your cherished items and go to a professsional place that knows what they are doing!!! Beyond Alteration is NOT that place.
