I’d like to start out on a good note: I liked the grilled shrimp. Now on for the rest. The prices are disproportionate to the amount or quality of food you receive. The service is slow and tonight, rude. It’s very loud inside of the restaurant. The drinks are good but very small for $ 10-$ 12. We only saw our waitress a couple of times, had to pile up all of the dirty dishes to give them the hint. Just over all the meats inside the tacos are really good but that’s it. I mean really $ 5 for 1 oz of meat and 1 tortilla, it’s crazy.

I love this place. It is so unique compared to your typical Mexican restaurant. There are always specials with tacos out of the ordinary: Korean bbq, pork belly… I had the camaron taco(shrimp) it had a great garlic sauce on it. The rice isn’t your typical Spanish rice, has more of a creole taste to it, but still good, refried beans are great. I do have to say though my favorite thing about a meal here is the giant $ 6 glass of sangria. Prices are good too… except for an $ 8 margarita I’d hope they were a little bigger.

Came on a Monday night for dinner with a friend. Restaurant is smaller than I thought– we got the last table open when we arrived. Since it was full on a Monday I would guess there would be a wait on weekends. Got a watermelon margarita which was good except that there were chunks in the drink that kept getting stuck in the straw and made it difficult to drink. The free chips and salsa were good and I also got a small side of guac for the chips which was delicious. My friend I was with doesn’t like guac so I was glad they have an option for a small individual side for $ 1.50 instead of the appetizer portion for around $ 7. For a meal I got the picadillo tacos-(they have corn, flour and hard shells for options) and a side of rice. I got 1 hard shell and 1 flour. Both were very good. My friend got steak tacos and rice. We both liked our tacos, but both thought the rice had a weird taste to it. I’d definitely be back-would just skip the side of rice :)

Been here several times now, and is becoming a hit or miss as far as the food is concerned. The restaurant is very tightly packed, loud and the prices are slightly high for the quality of food they serve. However service is always friendly but not very efficient.

Our service was the worst. We had to flag someone down to get our bill. We saw our waitress once. She got our food totally wrong.

This place is the equivalent of a bait and switch! You walk in and the ambiance is phenomenal. The music is great, the drinks are flowing. Then you order the food and it’s a huge let down. My waiter was a bit on the inexperience side. He was fast, but clearly he didn’t know the menu. Also, our tacos were served cold. Not cool. The tortillas tasted a bit funny so I asked him if he knew what brand the tortillas were. He responded with«I’m not sure, but they bring them from Chicago». Like if all things from Chicago are good.

My daughter and I ate at Mama Maria’s last night. Absolutely loved our server Lupe who helped to make the experience wonderful. She was efficient, friendly, and gracious. We loved the complimentary chips and salsa… salsa great. Margarita was delicious, however I do wish it was in a better style traditional Margarita glass. The bartender was respectful when I suggested he put one of the t. v’s on the Chicago White Sox… especially since we are South Side. Would definitely go back as there are not many fun places in Orland Park to have a dinner and drink. Looking forward to Monday for half priced Margaritas. Thanks Lupe!!!

The food was fine but once it came time for the bill to be split for our party to leave the waiter told us he couldn’t split the check and had us all write the amounts we wanted ran on our cards. He had us waiting for an extremely long time and came back and forth telling us we had made errors while he struggled to get the bill taken care of. This ruined the evening and definitely turned us all off.

Pros: free chips & salsa Reasonably priced tacos(about $ 3 – 4 average per taco) Reasonably priced drinks Great Sangria! Cons: can be very noisy and difficult to hear across the table after 9pm on weekends. I wouldn’t suggest going here for a romantic date setting, but with a big group of friends it is perfect!

Went here last night and officially my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Orland. I had the tilapia taco which was awesome. The chicken taco was just ok after having the fish taco. The mexican fries were great and the chicken quesadillas were great too. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place, so I will definitely come back.

Christ, the risen King. I bullshit you not — I had the Philly cheese steak taco and they were the best tacos I have ever had. They’re the price of like 3 normal tacos, but they are so good, I don’t even know what to do with myself. Now, drinks… The frozen margaritas are juuuuust okay. I had the regular margarita frozen. But then… THEN. THEN. THEN. Plot twist, bitches. Carlos, the amazing bartender, hooked up the white peach margarita and then the strawberry margarita — on the rocks. And they were amazing. So, yup. Just yup. This is a great place to eat and drink. Carlos is a great bartender, very personable. And it is well worth the slight priciness. Do yourself a favor!

Decided to go here with some friends on a Saturday night. They don’t take reservations. Which is actually a good thing. I have family in the restaurant industry and it is actually easier on the restaurant not to take reservations. Having said that… show up early! We waited over an hour for a table. Which was ok, we didn’t mind. I downloaded their app which was pretty cool. You could see where in line you were. We got seated and chips and salsa were on the gavel immediately. The chips and salsa are pretty good. Chips are warm and the salsa tasted fresh. It is a chunky salsa, which I don’t mind. I started off with a traditional margarita. They serve it in cute mason jars. I ended up having two! They were well worth it. My friends have been there before and there are more margaritas. I want to go back soon to try more of them. Food came out fast. It was hot(temperature). I had the beef enchiladas. Very good! It is a lot of food for the money you pay. I had to take food home it was so much. Flavors were good. They also have a lot of deals during the week. We might try To go back during the week. Try this place out!

Came here for lunch this past Saturday(2⁄27) with my cousin. As it was my first time here, I took a minute to take everything in. As such… We were seated rather quickly. Hostess wasn’t bad, but she wasn’t that enthusiastic also. Service was pretty good once we were seated. Brought chips/salsa, then made sure we were good the entire visit. Now the food… damn…it was great!!! I order the empanadas as an appetizer, and they tasted nice, hot, and fresh. I also ordered the enchiladas dinner with refried beans and spanish rice. The portions are very substantial. I’m a 227 pound man with a pretty healthy appetite, and I ended up taking half my order home. The ambiance was nice, sports was on the tv, and if you’re a drinker, you’ll be happy with the selection. I rated the place four stars because I do think the food is a tad pricey and as I mentioned before, the hostess wasn’t that enthusiastic. That said, we had great service, great food, and I will DEFINITELY come back!

Where do I start? The margs are amazing. I love the pomegranate one, my boyfriend loves the jalpeño one. The salsa is great I wish it wasn’t as good because i always eat all the chips before my food comes. I’m a big fan of the chicken tamales, mamas salad(it’s spicy but not hot spicy it’s a good I can’t describe) and of course the tacos. I love trying all the special ones. Service is a great and the atmosphere is awesome.

Thought it was good. Good service. Good margaritas though on the pricey and small size. 8oz… maybe? Tacos weren’t bad. Korean bbq tacos was número uno. Followed by fried pork belly. Greek lamb taco was ok. Blackened salmon tasted and smelled super fishy. I mentioned to the waitress. She said sorry, made a frown and walked away. Kinda pimpy I thought. Ima big tipper, but she lost out. 4 tacos, 4 margaritas, 1 chili relents appetizer. $ 72. Not sure whether it’s good or bad.

My friend and I stopped in here for our second time. The food was delicious and the service at the bar was excellent! We were able to catch the Bears game on TV as well. We cannot wait to come back!
