Stepping into D’Wan Hookah Lounge was a great idea. They have a really nice selection of quality shishas. Our server was very kind and attentive. They brought out 3 hookahs no later than 5 minutes. Clean establishment and friendly faces. The couches are comfortable and the environment is very relaxed. I highly recommend this lounge! Stop by for a good time

Management responded, and I think they have me confused with someone else. Not once did I mention the use of alcohol in my review, nor was that ever mentioned from my party while we were there. That was never even a concern with us. I’ve been to plenty of other hookah establishments like Hookah Time, which doesn’t offer BYOB, and that’s completely fine. I don’t go to a hookah lounge for the purpose of drinking alcohol, so that doesn’t play a factor at all and doesn’t make any sense. If the manager wants to preach about«honesty», he should really start with worrying about himself and what he says. His response is simply untrue, and quite frankly, unprofessional. So either, he made that up to put up a fake story to my review, or he has me confused with another party that actually did complain about alcohol. Either way, that was not said by us and not our complaint. OURCONCERNSWERE: VERY slow service, staff forgetting what we ordered and then disappearing, being ignored by staff when we tried to remind them to bring us the items we ordered, and the very cramped seating. You can read all of this on my original review… I also do not recall seeing him there that night(unless he has shaved his head completely now), nor did we ever speak to him. I also messaged him back directly stating the same things above. I will give him the benefit of the doubt by saying he has us confused with someone else, but this is the nail in the coffin here. I try to support local businesses, but they made this really, really hard on us. We will not be back.

Went to this place a few times. Normally fine– but tonight was awful. Their service was unbelievably bad. The manager was very rude and ignored us most the night. Having said that, I never D’Wanna go back. I’m adding this next piece is response to Fred J. and the comment he left on my review. I really hope he has me confused with a different displeased party because if not, everything he stated was fabricated. And lying in order to cover up a negative guest experience seems pretty low. To clarify: my party was not asked to leave. We were bothering no one. We did not ask for free stuff. We didn’t even voice complaints to any of the staff because all we wanted to do was pay and leave. That is how awful our experience was. We were greeted with a handshake and asked if we wanted their special(which was hookah out of a fruit.) We said we’d think about it and check out the menu. This is where the service went bad. It was as if they were offended that we did not want to order when we were still standing in the doorway with our jackets on. A few minutes after we were seated we were ready to order. We let staff know, but it took an additional 15 minutes to get the order in. Once we got our hookah about 10 minutes after that, we weren’t brought mouth pieces. It was as if they had purposely forgot to bring them. We asked for them instantly, waited 10 minutes– still no mouthpieces. Finally someone from our party got up and got some from the counter. Yes, they were busy. But here is the thing. We noticed other parties ask for things and they received them moments later. They were purposely ignoring our party. We noticed a similar pattern with other parties there, and unfortunately their service quality seemed to be based on skin color. They are friendly to people they knew and other Muslims but they ignore their white and black clientele. It’s unbelievably frustrating that they would go to such lengths to cover up a bad customer experience– which is the only reason I’m updating this review. I want people to know that this is a bad establishment and it would be in your best interest to never go here.

Perfect atmosphere. Rarely too loud. Ayham will take care of you and charm you to death. The best hookah bar in the Chicagoland area, or anywhere else. One more reason to forget that the South Suburbs are trash and remember that once in a while, they’re not so bad.

Agree with the girl below who said they’re rude. I have been here several times before and was pretty happy with everything. That all changed tonight when I realized how much they clearly do not care about their customers and are ridiculously greedy. I’m scaling this down as much as I can. * Service today sucked. Took 30 minutes just to order hookahs and 45 minutes and three different tries(including walking up the register) to get ONE coffee. * One of the two hookahs didn’t work properly. We tried to get the issue resolved several times for 30 minutes and we were either ignored or told it would be fixed with no action. * When the server finally came over to fix it, it still didn’t work properly. * Another guy wearing a ridiculously flamboyant purple shirt came over to attempt to fix it but it still wasn’t working right. * Flamboyant purple shirt man told us in broken English that«everything would be okay and it would be taken care of», hinting that it would most likely be comped. * Then our actual server said for all the trouble we experienced that the hookah that didn’t work would be on the house. We did NOT ask for it to be on the house and we were not out looking to get anything for free but it was fair since it didn’t work and we thanked him. * Our two friends(who frequently go there) went to pay as my friend and I waited back at the table to watch our things. * Walking out, our friends let us know they didn’t honor the hookah being on the house, denied that flamboyant purple shirt man even worked there(even though he was bussing tables and changing coals), and the staff pretty much laughed in their face. * Naturally, we went back in to try to resolve the issue. * No one magically recalls telling us about the non-working hookah being on the house. * Server lies to our faces in front of bald-headed boss telling us he never said that(when four people and another patron at a table next to us heard him). * Now we’re starting to look stupid. * We were told they«don’t have a policy where a hookah is on the house» according to bald-head man, even if the hookah doesn’t work and they don’t fix it. * I tell them this is ridiculous, especially when it was offered to us by the server * We let him know the server was trying to bullsh*t him(and us at this point) * Of course they didn’t like being told this, so this fine establishment finally resolves the issue by kicking us out. Literally, the tough guy bald head man said«I am going to resolve this by kicking you out». * I can’t do anything but laugh about two females getting kicked out of an Orland Park hookah bar on a Saturday night. It honestly wasn’t even about the money, it was about how they lied and offered a terrible and non-working product and didn’t honor what they claimed they would. They lost seven solid customers over a pathetic $ 16. Way to go, guys.

This place is great My boss takes me here and I have no complaints. The waitresses treat me like king and if I have consumed enough alcohol they look like Kim Kardashian. I’m slightly hearing impaired and have trouble hearing when I go out. Not here. The ambiance is good to sit back and relax and hold conversation over fresh hookah. The staff is great they will not leave you hanging. The owner knows what the hell he is doing. Highly recommend going here.

Sucky service and rude people. I do not recommend this place at all. I used to like this place until I recently went back for my friends birthday. I couldn’t believe how rude everyone was. Skip this place.

If you’re looking for a good hookah and a great time this is the place to go. Every time I go the owner always goes above and beyond to make sure me and my group are enjoying ourselves. The service is excellent and they have some of the best hookah prices around.

Me and my friends wanted to try hookah for the first time so we found this hidden gem :) The décor and atmosphere was so lo key and relaxing. .we immediately felt welcomed. The employees were so helpful and nice… they informed us the proper way to smoke and even started things off for us… we tried different flavors and they were all so tasteful. All and all we had a great experience and would definitely return!

I LOVED the look & feel of this place! it was hidden from the busy street with its own private town feel. super cute. the staff was nice & freindly, the flavors were good, the only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t play various types of music, which isn’t a biggie considering it is a hookah bar. over all fun time & would come back(:

I never been to other places like these but the owner is very attentive and he sure knows how to run a business. Every time we come here he gives us complimentary drinks, food and makes us feel like VIP. So to me there is no other place to even try out.

Nice– but it gets boring sometimes. Wish they played some middle eastern music/videos at least SOMETIMES, just to break it up a bit and get the authentic ambiance. The paintings are a little old school– weird sometimes. Other than that, chill place. A little weird in ALL hookah places– owners get the best spot, centrally located, everyone, it’s a little unnerving sometimes. I think owners should get a little more ‘discreet’ place.

This was actually surprisingly a nice spot to chill if your in the south side. The location is private, meaning it’s on a small street, instead of a big busy one. The place isn’t huge but it’s big enough to have parties and gatherings. The hookahs aren’t bad… they aren’t the best I’ve ever had either but for first timers, it’s pretty good. The waitress was catering, no long waits but we also went on a slow night so I can’t really say how they are when it’s a bit more chaotic. I didn’t really pay too much attention but I know they have hot/cold drinks, perhaps some snacks if you get a hungry. Nothing special, I am sure you can bring your own food and alcohol I hear.

This Hookah Bar is the best in the area, the hookahs are always nice and clean and the staff is more than accommodating. The owner, John, greets all of the customers and treats everyone with the utmost respect. They have theme nights, as well as a great atmosphere for a chill night out with friends. People are not charged if you do not smoke. While I have been to many hookah bars in the area, this one is by far the best I have been to. While it is difficult to park at times, it is a great atmosphere, great prices, great tobacco and great hookahs!

This is a great place to hang out with friends! Being in this place for a while I was looking for a good hookah joint in the vicinity. I just happened to find this one at Unilocal with just one review at that time! And boy am I glad I found this place! Went in there with my gf and her room mate on a Thursday night. Immediately I was greeted by the owner who is a really nice and friendly guy! The staff working for him is also very nice and cordial and always helpful with your requests! Now about the hookah. Great flavors! Already tried a few of em and I can vouch for em. They are all smooth and flavorful! Exactly what you want in a hookah! The best part about this place though is the ventilation. It’s absolutely not stuffy or anything in there(one problem that almost all hookah places around have)! Something that my gf too is very impressed by or else she wouldn’t have been ready to go back! The charges are decent and value for money. Oh and most importantly their tiramisu and Turkish coffee is splendid. Both in about $ 6! Beat that! Totally recommended place. Now only if they also start serving Mediterranean food… Guess I’m being too demanding now.

Being from Orland Park, it’s been hard to find a good hookah café. Many who have tried know one of the worst hookah café’s in the area is on the other side of town. Last night, I found Dwan Hookah right near Old Orland. I wasn’t expecting much as Orland and the surrounding area isn’t known for good hookah cafes at all. I was blown away by Dwan Hookah. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and simple. The couches were extremely comfortable, the staff was extremely attentive without being the slightest bit overbearing, and although I didn’t order any drinks, the selection was quite vast(non-alcoholic). I have smoked hookah at many hookah bars throughout Illinois and Indiana. I own my own hookah and I have tried more flavors than you will see at any single shop. I like to consider myself somebody who really appreciates hookah culture and I believe I have a more refined taste when it comes to quality. On that note, Dwan has taken the cake as the best hookah café I have been to. They use really nice and smooth hookah pipes, clean hoses without the sunk-in flavor of every shisha that has been through it, they leave tongs at the table so you are able to handle the coals to your preference, and the best part, they have Coco Nara natural coals which lead to a purer, smoother, and more evenly heat-distributed smoke. The staff even dropped off a few extra lit coals when they noticed mine were beginning to burn out, without me asking. It was a splendid touch on top of what already was proving to be an extremely pleasant evening. Things to take note of on the interior; They have quite a few flat-screen televisions on the wall which align with most of the tables. It shouldn’t be hard at all to watch whatever you want while you enjoy your time at Dwan Hookah. The music system is clear and quiet enough that it is simple to carry on a casual conversation. The music selection last night was upbeat and right about what you’d expect at a hookah bar like this. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about their offerings, and willing to lend a hand if you ask. The part of Dwan Hookah that will bring me back time-and-time again is the fact then when I asked the owner how they do their pricing, they mentioned that it’s cost-per-hookah, not per smoker, and many of the«upgrades» elsewhere, are standard at Dwan Hookah. He said that Dwan Hookah was opened not to make a lot of money, but for people to enjoy smoking hookah. I highly recommend Dwan Hookah to anyone looking for a hookah café in or around the Orland Area.
