Went to breakfast this morning. Waited over 40 minutes to be served. The pancakes were cold and hard and the toast was burnt. Spoke to the owner and her only response was«orders are served in the order in which they are taken, including take out». While I understand that orders should come out in the order they were taken, should not take 40 minutes to serve an under par breakfast. Also not the comment I would make if I was the owner.

I was sitting there staring to nibble on the items brought out to the table and I was thinking hmmm this place is pretty solid. Then they brought out the French toast. Wow, best French toast I have ever had. The service was amazing. Not to busy on a Sunday morning. The prices were on the cheaper side and well worth it.

Great little local joint. Food is good & reasonably priced. The staff is always super friendly. My kids proclaim this the best pancakes/french toast around.

A mom-and-pop shop. Service was quick. Corned beef hash was more hash than corned beef

Great breakfast! I had the egg, cheese & sausage breakfast sandwich. It was great! This is a diner experience so if your looking for bloddy’s or mimosas you won’t find it here. I was with a group of 5 other people & everyone thought the food was perfect breakfast food. The chili is also good according to my friend! Warning: you will leave smelling like grease!

The breakfast was one of the worst that I have had in years. Watery home fries, limp scrapple, and the pancakes were the worst. like cardboard with the worst syrup money can buy. Stay away

The Whistle Stop is a small locals restaurant located in the heart of Oreland. They do take out and they have 5 – 6 tables inside and a counter you can sit at. With in the last two years the building and business was sold. They completely renovated the place. The menu isn’t very large but everything is mostly made in house. They have daily lunch and breakfast specials that are priced very reasonable. Everyone that I work with on Saturday’s stops in for breakfast at 7am. I believe they open at 6:30. The total bill for(6) people is usually around $ 37.00.
