Karam Nursery

This place has a huge selection of beautiful plants and trees. They usually have great discounts and the staff is so helpful.

Excellent variety and prices. I give 4 stars because the staff did not seem interested in helping when I had questions. I’d personally prefer Al’s but this is closer to home and worked for what I needed!

Not only does this nursery have pretty much everything you are looking for and if not they will try and get it, but I can honestly say the Karams have become our good friends over the years and are wonderful people!
They are kind and warm and welcoming and Esa put the most gorgeous stream in that feeds in to our existing pond! He has done Oregon Street Of Dreams jobs so YES he’s that good! Love his wife and daughter Annie!

We visited Karam nursery today and enjoyed looking around at the hundreds of trees and shrubs that were offered, with most having a sale price of 50%. The proprietors were not as friendly as mentioned in other reviews, especially the man; in fact he seemed downright grumpy. We neither got a ‘hello’ or ‘thanks for coming’.
We would have bought a large evergreen but after inquiring about the cost of delivery, (up to NE Glisan st.), and were told $ 120 which would have been twice as much as the tree would have cost, we refused. I told the lady that was just too much especially as this was to be a 9 foot cedar only. Apparently they don’t transport themselves but use a local service. We came away disappointed and will look elsewhere.
Selection was very good, but customer service was poor.

The Good: Great selection of trees all at great prices. Lots of unique varieties too. The staff was knowledgable and super friendly.
The Bad: The great prices stop at trees. Smaller stuff was comparable to other Portland nurseries.
I will be going back for sure.

— And super nice! They offered the AMAZING price of $ 5 each for a bunch of huge honeysuckle vines they wanted to get rid of. Made my whole day, and will fill up my husband’s whole weekend (unbeknownst to him).
This will definitely be my go-​to nursery from now on.

Bought 5 fruit trees, bare roots, for $ 10 a piece. My mom, who is a Master Gardener, said it was a GREAT deal. The people there were friendly and helpful, and they had a list of trees which they gave us a copy of. Great find all around!

$ 8 fruit trees?! This place is huge and has some killer deals.

I have been using them for about 15 years! I landscaped our entire 2 acres using most of there plants! Great people and the prices can’t be any better anywhere else…

Have purchased many larger plants from these folks at some of the best prices around!

we found this nursery by accident when we were driving to a local farm to purchase yummy raw milk. anyway, they have a sign that says wholesale to the public, and since cheaper pricing is always enticing we stopped by. we were happy we did. we left with two cute little 6-​way espaliered pear trees (ie a different variety on each branch), blueberry bushes, grapevine and a beautiful asian pear tree! great prices, nice staff and our trees are doing well over a year later.
