I really appreciate all this park has to offer. Wide open parking lot w lots of shady spots to kick back and relax in your car. Lots of grass surrounding the baseball diamond. Super quiet location. Park is almost always empty since there is little business/​development in the immediate area. But the best part IMHO are the unique structures and fixtures, which have been built by donations from Santa Maria Valley businesses and residents. Pioneer is really a tucked away gem.
