Update: owner Judd just sent me a nice email, replying to the review below. This reinforces my comment that they are a good example of a local business. First, he pays attention. Second, he let me know he is keeping the dogs at home. Third, he offered to clean the vacuum. Other businesses should follow his example.
These folks are a good example of a local business, except for a couple of issues. After a pleasant conversation over the phone to talk about the cost of some maintenance on our older vacuum cleaner, I brought it in. Instead of being greeted by an employee, I was «greeted» by two dogs. Business owners need to understand that not everyone is dog-​obsessed, and not everyone believes dogs belong everywhere humans can go.
The shop could use some design work. Our vacuum cleaner work was done as described, and ready only one day after it was estimated to be done; however, it would have been nice if they would have cleaned it while they had it apart.
They are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, but they need to invest some time in a re-​design of the business and keep the dogs at home.

I have been purchasing janitorial and window cleaning supplies from KarpetKing/​Orcutt Vaccum since the early 90’s. I’ve seen Judd grow from a young boy to a mature man and Debbie hasn’t aged one bit! I cannot disagree with the previous reviews of Judd and Debbie being helpful, honest and friendly. It is always a pleasant experience stopping by for what ever I may need. So if you are in the market for needing any cleaning chemicals don’t hesitate to stop by. They’ve got a great selection of vaccum cleaners, both commercial and residential, as well as bags, cleaning chemicals and much more! Orcutt Vaccum and Cleaning Supplies is always my first choice! Helpful, friendly, and honest service. Whether I run in to buy a box of vacuum bags or have my vacuum repaired (or just ask for honest advice) owners are always more than happy to assist me the best they can. I have had my nearly 20 year old (and well-​used, very abused) Miele vacuum repaired and it was done efficiently and to my absolute satisfaction. They have lots of great and interesting cleaning products in store; I always have fun browsing their unique cleaning products. If they don’t have what I need they do what they can to find it.

Excellent business. Had my 12 yr. old Orek serviced there and it runs like NEW!
