The manager was extremely rude to me and my kids. He yelled at us for having freezes from Taco Bell even though we had just ordered a pizza from his restaurant. He was a complete jerk, extremely disrespectful, and dishonest. The staff was nice and they were the only good thing in the entire experience. In addition to the manager being rude, the pizza was not very good either. I would recommend you to go to any other pizza place.

We have lived in the Fair Oaks and Orangevale area for 15+ years, so the Mountain Mike’s Pizza in the Save Mart parking lot has always been our pizza spot to go. Even though we have moved three different times in the last 15 years, we have always remained loyal to this establishment because they make good pizza. About four months ago, we ordered two pizzas because they always have the online BOGO coupon; if you buy a large specialty pizza you can get a large single topping for a discounted price. We ALWAYS order the exact same thing, A large MT. Veggiemore with no tomatoes and substitute white garlic sauce. Well… the last time we ordered(we had just moved into a brand new house) I gave the young girl my same cell number I’ve always used. I ordered our normal order, but when the pizzas arrived, I made the mistake of not checking it before the driver left. When I opened the box, the Mt. Veggiemore was not there, but instead some type of meat combination. I immediately called this location and same girl who took my order said that I had ordered a combo pizza. When I explained that I have never ordered anything different, she said she would get her boss. The owner got on the phone and told me I was wrong. I couldn’t believe it! He asked for my phone number and tried to tell me there was no record of me ever ordering there before. I explained that we have always been loyal customers and would like for them to make the mistake right by making the correct order and deliver it. He flat out told me no and that the only thing he would do was now make me a MEDIUM pizza(not the large that I paid for) and deliver it only if I gave him the large combination back. I explained that this made absolutely no sense as I was now losing money and would have to wait another hour before the other half of my family could eat. He refused to compromise. I became upset with the way he was talking down to me and being unreasonable that I told him he had lost our business for good and that I would make sure to spread the word especially within our little league community since we have had many end of season pizza parties there. At that point he started screaming at me about how I was threatening him and then he hung up on me. My husband called back and the owner continued his rant in a sexist manner because he kept telling my husband how dare a lady talk to him that way. My husband finally calmed him down and asked for a refund and the owner agreed. However, it has been over four months and I have never seen a refund. I stand true to my promise of never supporting his business. Someone needs to teach this guy some customer service, so he can keep his customers. Instead of being out the money for one pizza mistake, he has lost years of business form my family and friends. Now I can get off my soap box!

Getting palsy with what the customer is watching… It was a three star review until the Indian terrorist manager had walked in and changed the channel on then starts calling me dirty for having my shoes off…

Really disappointed in there lunch buffet. To start the sign on the window, there is 2 of them, say $ 5.99 lunch buffet, it’s actually 7.99, which is fine, but do something about the advertisement on the windows. So I get in and I am the only one here, but I notice first that 8 of the tables have garbage on them and plates. Again Noone is in the restaurant, so what are the employees doing in the back? So I order and of course pizza is definitely old, but it’s fine, there’s no one here. I sit here and eat my salad and pizza and while I’m here 3 more parties come in, in the hour I’m here(trying to kill time) and still not one table is cleared off! I will say they did put out another pizza finally after 2 other parties came, and it was much better than the first! So over all the pizza is just ok, the restaurant is dirty and I will it be coming back for lunch buffet!

Best Pizza around, great service run by a very dedicated family, never had an issue with service, a mistake on one pizza(large), was very quickly replaced with a fresh corrected order, the owner even called me to make sure I kept the other pizza and was very professional and down right nice, love these guys.

Well, I’ve always enjoyed the employees here and I hate to leave a review like this but this location has gotten our order wrong twice in a row now. Also the last time we ordered through this location my entire family got sick for the next day. Now I lead a very busy lifestyle and frankly felt bad about making the call but I went ahead and made a call A few days later to let them know what happened. Not only did they get my order wrong but their food made me sick. I asked to speak to a manager who was frankly argumentative with me. When I tried to describe to him how the order was wrongly executed he argued with me. Well shame on you. I’m rather surprised I wasn’t offered compensation for the wrong order. He also admonished me for not letting them know that we had gotten sick because they would’ve sent us to the hospital which frankly when you have that kind of stomach illness getting to the hospital is rather difficult when you’re stuck on the toilet. Idiot. Customer service is increasingly becoming a thing of the past. It’s with a heavy heart that I leave this negative review. This has nothing to do with the employees at the location however the management is severely lacking.

These people have to be the most rude people there are winning to ask them about their salad bar they rolled their eyes and then I asked to talk to set a manager and they told me just to wait five minutes and there might be somebody you could help me… Sorry that I inconvenienced you but I thought that I was the customer and was coming to eat some food

I sat here waiting almost an hour for a small pizza I watched 5 people come in after I did and receive there pizza before I did, I will not be returning to this place. However I’d like to apologize to the young man that took my order, I was out of line and I understand it’s not his faul.

Do not go here for the lunch buffet!!! They leave the pizza out until it is completely finished and it gets cold and gross. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a fresh pizza even though it was really busy. This place is cheap. What a rip off. Round Table’s buffet is wayyyy better.

If we could rate this location with zero stars, we would for the terrible customer service. A few coworkers and I went in for the lunch buffet and upon arrival there was already very little pizza on the counter along with dessert pizza. We initially requested a savory pizza, to which they accommodated because of our party size. Toward the end of the meal, we requested a DESSERT pizza but was denied due to the savory pizza available and amount of customers in the dining area. We asked for a small one and was still refused as paying customers. One of the individuals in my party approached the manager with the suggestion to cater to all customer requests, despite the availability of choices that were not asked for. The manager presumed to raise his voice in arguing with her and was in no way accommodating. The manager also allowed for the employee to rudely interject into the conversation although she was not addressed. We will no longer serve patronage to this location and will share our experience with others in our corporate office.

Ordered delivery & it came very late and very cold. Called to complain and the OWNER argued with me and refused to replace my meal or refund me. That is horrible service! If you want Mountain Mike’s in this area, get it from Madison & Sunrise, they give good service and fresh food over there. Haven’t been to Sunrise & Antelope — they might be ok too, don’t know.

I am so disappointed. I ordered almost $ 100 dollars in pizza for a 6:15 delivery time because we have a birthday party. The driver calls me an hour early to tell me they are at my place with the pizzas. I am still at work! So now I am having to serve $ 100 worth of cold pizza to our guests. When I call the store to complain Max who is in charge tonight tells me I can have $ 5 off my next order. Are you kidding me??? This was my first delivery order from mountain mikes in Citrus Heights and after this fiasco may be my last

Called and they told me 15 – 20 min, showed up 20 min later and they havent even started my order yet. Poor customer service when it is 107 outside. I would much rather be sitting on my couch than being hot in your store waiting for your incompetent staff to make my order.

This will be our go to pizza place from here on out. The crust has a crunch to it but is still soft and the toppings are always generous! Service is friendly and delivery is always quick :) I cant believe how good their pizza is! Way better than all the other pizza joints around greenback and main. Keep it up and we won’t go anywhere else when we get delivery! And not to mention they are very fairly priced

BEWARE! My family and I just went on April 29th for my nephew’s 4th birthday, and for the moment we walked in the doors we recieved terrible service. The product is good but the service was the worst I have ever experienced(I have had waitors’ spit in food). My brother-in-law went into before the rest of us got out of the car to make sure they were doing their special discounted Tuesday night deal, the lady at the counter said they were; therefore, he came out and told us to get all the kids out of the carseats and inside. Once we all came to the front counter the SAME lady then decided to say we needed a coupon to recieve the deal, but she did end up giving us the deal. Then my sister ordered the endless salad bar for $ 5.99(it is on the menu as unliimited), but when she went to go get seconds the manager stopped her and said she was NOTALLOWEDSECONDS. When the pizza came we asked for ranch and the waitor told us that we had to PAYEXTRA for the ranch. After we finished my sister went and spoke to the manager because she as a business owner would want feedback for customers. He completely blew her off so she turned around to walk out, but what he did not realize is that I was still watching him. I watched him throw his hands up in the air and a mouth a not-so-professional statement. Do not go here. Round Table is right up the street and they have 50% off Mondays. They are much better.

This mountain mikes is ridiculous. I ordered my pizza and after an hour I called to check in, it STILL hadnt left the store according to the employee who answered the phone. I of coarse asked to speak to a manager, he then proceeded to lie to me telling me that the order left 5 mins ago. Their customer service is horrible and I recommend going to another location.

Oh baby! Mountain Mike’s has a new(new to me, but maybe not new-new) GLUTENFREECRUST! Ok, most people might not be jumping for joy over this, but for people like me who have gluten allergies, it’s a big score. I haven’t had pizza or a pizza like thing for about 4 years since finding out about my food allergies… I just went cold turkey, if I couldn’t have the«real» deal, it was none at all. It was really cool tonight to let down my guard and have a slice… it’s s actually really good! More memorable was the look on the manager’s face when I asked him if he had packets of oregano as he was passing out the peppers and the Parmesan… LOL! Guess that’s one trend that hasn’t left the east coast yet…(it was awesome on it, BTW!) Thanks also for the friendly service and the other great pizza… they devoured Everest!

I haven’t even had my pizza delivered and I’m upset! The girl who answered the phone needs some major retraining. #1 you do not cover the phone and gossip with you coworkers. YES! I can hear you! My apologies for calling back 3 minutes later to add extra sauce to my pizzas and a couple sides of ranch. What did this little girl do? «covered the phone» and screamed if my pizza had been started. Really? Do you not have a hold button? The you ask me «so you WANT ranch?» well yes, young lady I do. Sorry to interrupt your gossiping to add something to my order. I come into this pizza place all the time with my family to have dinner. Never ever have I been treated so badly. Needless to say I will be going to RoundTable from now on.
