Andrea was so unbelievably helpful in getting me set up for my dive. She was familiar with the boat I’m going out on in Ventura, and knew exactly what I needed for the day. Working with Scuba World was a great experience.

Online search for SubGear snorkeling products referred me to Scuba World. I called to check inventory and spoke with Andrea. She was upfront and informed me that she had the older product model, but it was a neutral gray color which fit my preferences better than the newer yellow model. I headed in just before her store closing hour at six PM. She had the bag ready for me which made it one of the easiest first time shopper experiences ever. Andrea is most helpful and very witty. You know, buying the older SubGear backpack for my snorkel gear isn’t a bad thing. I bet my gear won’t know the difference.

I had a very hectic schedule and date I had to have my certification completed by since I was moving out of state. Andrea, Russ, and Craig went above and beyond to help me get my Scuba certification in a timely manor. I would definitely recommend them!

Andrea is amazing, and she is very helpful. She got our regulator setups done in time for Cozumel, and when I stupidly forgot her Sunday hours, she stayed a bit late and helped!

Great Customer Service and Expert Advice. I myself have gone here only 3 times but my dad has been coming here for about 15 years+ and I can totally see why. They make the whole process quick and easy and truly do know what they’re talking about. The staff is very knowledgeable and have great experience. At Scuba World they know the hobby and the community. My family went to the Caribbean a few months ago and they got a great recommendation for a scuba guide there. My family had an amazing time. Like I said, they seem very well connected with the scuba diving community so even if they didn’t have what items/​services you needed, they would be able to give you a good recommendation where to look.
When you go there you can tell they have a lot of regulars that they obviously know well. They seem to have awesome customer loyalty (like my father) which is always a good sign of great business.
Overall, i was super happy with the prices, expertise, and the fact that they have have rentals for newbies like me. I would definitely recommend this to friend. Keep up the good work Scuba World!

I have been diving since the early 90’s and Scuba World and Andrea have been a part of the reason why. They made us feel comfortable when we were going through the certification and I was more than a bit concerned about the whole process. I was certified, in part, because the man I was dating wanted to dive. I continued to dive because I grew to love the sport. I must credit the support of people like Andrea and her staff, along with the great people you encounter who dive as well. I am a difficult customer in that I will take several months to decide what I want. I will shop multiple stores, read online reviews and boards. As Andrea can attest, I have made her crazy with all of my questions. She truly knows scuba and will tell you what is good and bad about equipment. This is important because, when you look online, when was the last time you were able to find a negative review of a product?
I think the thing that has impressed me the most is that she truly cares about her customers. It’s not all about making money. She uses NAUI for her certifications and has some great instructors. I highly recommend going to her shop.

Great store, the owner is very knowledgeable she worked well with my daughter and made my daughter very comfortable. She was very helpful and was more than willing to take the time necessary to allow us to make decisions. For me one of the most important things is to keep my daughter (Kids) excited about diving and she did that. I would highly recommend this store to all.
