Who loves meat??? I loooooooove me some meat… but not at this place. Met up with some brothers in Christ a few days ago and what better way to spend quality time than ravaging a carcass together? Unfortunately, we all walked away unimpressed with our wallets feeling a bit lighter… ooooh our tender hearts. The ambiance is appropriate. It is what I imagine many bbq joints should look like. Plenty of room to hustle and bustle with a mechanical bull… because who doesn’t want to go for a rough ride after a hefty meal? The presentation… is pretty sad and pathetic looking. They serve their meals on a huge silver platter… which would be cool if the food filled up the plate adequately. Since this wasn’t the case, the food looked rather lonely in them spacious platters. The food… oh the food. Let’s keep this short Biscuits were sad and doughy and the cinnamon butter was super subtle… I think they ran out of cinnamon? The patties for the burgers looked like they were frozen for decades and looked too dry. Cooked well instead of med rare. The buns were super greasy. The cinnamon dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries was too sweet… ugh. Taking about sweet… the bbq sauce for the ribs was disgustingly sweet. My gosh… it was like pure molasse which a small pinch of heat… it was really really bad. If I were an animal ready to be slaughtered, I would want my meat to be turned into a work of art… not destroyed and mutilated into a silver platter. Saaaad Sad sad stuff

Got the monster platter for me and wife. Arrived around happy hour and got the platter at 50% off. Wow food was amazing sizes was enough for 4 people will definitely come back even took left overs in doggy bags. Down side: Waiter was busy waited longer to pay my tab stayed extra 15min for complimentary cotton candy should of said no but broke even. Upside payed $ 25 thats including gratuity tip. For just me and my wife just on monster platter, jalapeño macaroni and drinks what a deal. Will come back

Oh man, I’ve come here twice for drinks before a movie and both times the service was horrible. Like, can’t get a drink no matter how hard you try, horrible. I was just there on a Tuesday(a TUESDAY!) and couldn’t get the bartender’s attention to save my life. She just talked to one staff member after another and couldn’t be bothered. We just left after 15 minutes and went to Tu Tu Tango right down the way and got served right away.

Horrible service on the patio today when it was not busy at all. Ordered a side salad before my meal, and it came out with the meal. Took forever to get refills of ice tea(with no ice in the cup)

Went there last night for by friends Birthday party… never been there before… here is an honest review Pros: The server was very nice. The manager came by and introduced himself, and took care of the fact that wifi wasn’t working. Food was delicious. Beer was nice and cold. Ambiance was fun and energetic. Cons: Server was very busy, and took her awhile to get us what we needed. Went the first hour without wifi, so I couldn’t post status or send/receive messages for the rest of your party to get there… Food portions were small. It was to loud to hear the people across the table from us. Overall it was a fun night. I will be back…

Bring your appetite with you when you come here because the portions are large! I ordered the smaller sized BBQ Chicken Chop salad and my Mom ordered the the Chicken Cilantro omelette. We shared our dishes with each other and had difficulty finishing up our meals. I can hardly imagine what the larger sized salad would be like. We were served buttermilk biscuits and jalapeño corn muffins before our entrees arrived. They were served with a butter with cinnamon, which I liked. The BBQ Chicken Chop salad had a sweet and somewhat spicy BBQ salad dressing and consisted of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, and tortilla strips. They were generous with the chicken. My Mom’s omelette contained mushrooms, cheese and was topped with hollandaise sauce. Accompanying it was a large hash brown topped with pepper. Service here was very good. The Manager came by to see if we were being helped, and our waitress checked up on us to see how we were doing. She had good knowledge about the menu and was able to accommodate us on special requests. This isn’t the best food, but it’s not bad, either.

Came here today for brunch with my best friend on Super Bowl Sunday, there were some bodies but not nearly as busy as I’ve seen during peak hours so we were greeted and sat right away. I have to say, this place is amazing! We both got the ham, bacon and cheese omelet and endless mimosas which are 10.99 when you get an entrée. Super delicious food and HUGE portions and you can’t get a better deal for yummy endless mimosas! I had the Bahama bubbly(my favorite) and I tried the classic and asked for it to be spiced a little. Caution: the bartender has a heavy hand and I personally couldn’t handle it but that’s just me and it’s no reason to knock off a star. The managers and servers were so friendly and attentive, way more than necessary but that to me stood out as really great service above any other restaurant I’ve ever been to! We will be back! Cheers!

Went here for an early dinner with the boyfriend while his nephew was skating at Vans Skate Park. We were seated promptly and had a great server. We were also greeted by the manager, Nick, who was extremely friendly and gracious :) We both ordered sweet potato fries for appetizers, followed by two ‘original’ burgers. Everything came out in a timely manner and all our additional requests(napkins, extra dressing, etc.) were heeded and accommodated. We asked for the bill afterwards and when they brought it to us, we were told that«something else was coming our way»… To our surprise, Nick personally brought us out a delicious«pecan-caramel-fudge-ice-cream-cake»(I made this name up cause I can’t remember the actual name. Forgive me, my brain went on standby mode once it saw the dessert). ITWASAMAZING. So, we stuffed our face with this ice cream and were about ready to apologize to our bellies when out comes a COTTONCANDYTOWER! What’s better than one surprise?? — Well, two of course! After realizing that the ratio of complimentary desserts to our remaining eating capacity was greater than 1, they offered to bag up the cotton candy so we can take it to go! :D Overall, the food was pretty good, but the customer service was definitely the highlight of the night! Thank you, Saddle Ranch!

Not so great for a first time experience. Service was terrible, food way below average. You’re better off at Chillis, Buffalo Wild Wings or even El Torito. We came here lunch/early dinner. When we first arrived, I waited politely for the hostess since she was busy a second guest arrived after me and to my surprise was helped first by taking their name and amount of people in their party which was 5 same amount as our party hostess then said«sorry about the wait how can I help you?» I gave her the # in our party wait time about 20 mins got there around 400 got seated at 500(keep in mind this is the first time we come to this place so I was willing to wait) While waiting I checked out the menu so once we get seated we can order right away. (And yes the other guest got seated before us too) When seated asked for 1 kids menu rest adults. Ordered our drinks and appetizers it was cold on this day, so I ordered coffee. Drinks arrived and place our dinner order I asked for cream & sugar I saw place was busy so I waited and waited and waited and wait some more I asked for sugar to one of the staff I was taken by surprised by his response«oh you have to ask your server» Alright I thought it’s is a busy night. I asked our waitresses for sugar and crayons since my daughter didn’t have any. Waitress said«the ones who seat you should of given it to you» I asked my son to go to the hostess to ask for crayons for his sister. As he came back he was told they were out. Appetizers arrived ordered Jumbo buffalo wings taste was good Stuffed bacon wrap jalapeños were also good. Ordered a plain quesadilla for the kids Came with tomatillo so we ended up eating it I asked the waitress if we could at least put a rush on the grilled cheese kids meal since my daughter was hungry and getting fuzzy. «I’ll see what I can do» So again we waited… Waited … Waited our food didn’t arrive ANHOURAFTER!!! My daughter even fell asleep. As we were waiting one of the servers left the door open I asked our waitress if they could please close the door her response«I’ll see if it can be done» I got up and closed it myself. At that point I had it got there at 4 seated around 5 got served at 7. Food was a disappointment BBQ Chicken with cilantro rice was gross! Rice tasted like pudding and the chicken was drowning in BBQ sauce that over power the taste. ½ rack if ribs were ok had better. Jalapeño Mac & cheese(Chillis Taste better) Burger was tasty per husband. Per my father in law pasta with chicken was ok. 3 tables were seated after us got served way before us. Overall 1 service was horrible 2first time I hear that a place runs out of crayons 3 food was ok but not enough to make me want to go back. I didn’t even try their drinks I wonder if it’s just like the food a big disappointment.

I came on a Monday evening during the holiday season and it was very much dead, meaning that there weren’t many customers. I have seen this place a lot more packed on the weekends. Its a great place to go if you want some entertainment along with dinner. It has a young and lively energy! They have TV’s showing music videos galore and the infamous bull riding machine. It’s free to ride the bull as long as you make a drink purchase. I’ve ridden the bull once or twice, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. On this night they were holding a bull riding competition where you were timed and given tasks. Whoever had the longest ride on the bull got to spin a wheel filled with prizes. Now enough with the atmosphere, even though that is probably the main reason to come here. I ordered myself the bbq pulled beef over rice plate. It was very delicious and full of flavor, but got tired of the dish after about 4 bites. Their food is very filling, and they are known for their bbq dishes. So question your decision when you go there and are tempted to order a salad. Overall I had a great experience and have always had a great time eating here. We lucked out this time around also cause we got a cool server that brought us out a free cotton candy tower at the end of our meal !($ 15 value)

The food was great but service needs work. They need more servers. However Cassey my server was amazing! She was so sweet and made my experience unforgettable!

I will admit being a fan of Alcatraz Brewing that used to be here and just abruptly closed one day, I went in to Saddle Ranch with a dose of skepticism. The whole western, bull riding thing usually isn’t my scene either. That being said, I was quite impressed with this place. First of all, their happy hour is fantastic. Half off all appetizers(and there are plenty to choose from. Literally something for everyone) and half off all drinks, including their giant carafes of Specialty Drinks. We had a group of 7 so in the spirit of group dining, we just ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and then a drink for each of us. I had the Gold Rush margarita from the Specialty Drinks menu and they’re not kidding when they say it’s a carafe. I couldn’t even finish the whole thing but for $ 7.50, I’ll take it. For appetizers we ordered the Nachos(which is like a palette of chips smothered in cheese and other goodies. Guac is extra though, keep that in mind), the Spinach and Artichoke dip which comes in a giant breadbowl, both the Jalapeño and the Black Truffle Mac and Cheese(both were to die for), the Hummus Trio and the Sweet Potato Fries. A lot of people here have said the food wasn’t that great but I found it to be quite the opposite. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes are great, especially for half off. Another complaint on here seemed to be the service but we had a great server. I need to refer to the receipt to find out his name but he took very good care of our pretty sizeable party and gave us not just the cotton candy but also the S’mores(yes you can toast your own marshmallows by the fire outside on the patio). I’m a huge cotton candy fan and if you see the pics on here, the cotton candy really is huge. We couldn’t even finish it all. Worth noting I haven’t eaten here for an actual dinner or anything yet but if you’re looking for a giddy up good Happy Hour(too much?), I definitely recommend this place. Plus if you’re lucky, you might get some entertainment with someone riding the bull.

Stop giving out freebies to make up for your terrible staff/service. It’s a better investment to train your staff/management properly.

Bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s on a lazy Sunday? Yes, please! We sat at the bar and drinks came a plenty. You can even switch between mimosas and bloody marys so it gives a ton of variety. Our server was fantastic and friendly. The food is always just mediocre here, but portions are large and the environment is very fun and upbeat. Plenty of tvs to watch the games, outdoor seating is always nice on a sunny day and good people watching ambiance.

I met up last Friday night with a bunch of my old coworkers here. The place is huge with a massive menu as well. The place was packed but we only had to wait about 15 minutes to seat our party of 8. It seems like it’s a good place for big groups. The tables and booths are very accommodating. They have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Many of the specialty drinks are served in caraffes. I asked if I could have a smaller size but they don’t do that. The tropical iced tea was very good. We didn’t make it in time for any of the happy hour specials, but from the looks of it, they have a pretty good selection to choose from. They bring you a basket of mini cornbread muffins, mini jalapeño muffins and biscuits. They were ok. A few of my friends split an order of the Jalapeño Mac & Cheese. While they were eating it, one of them came across a long hair that didn’t match any of theirs. The manager quickly took it off the bill. As the whole place is a Western themed motif, they have a mechanical bull you can ride and they have tv screens everywhere that were showing sports and music videos. Most of the music was actually pretty good. It’s not really a place I would choose to go to, but it was decent.

Saddle up, y’all! There’s a rockin’ Happy Hour in town! Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, Saddle Ranch – barstooled, barbecued, and«bull”-ied – has a full-sleeved hitchin’ post for resting those tired doggies of yours. So go ahead: catch a little ESPN, have a drink, and stay awhile.(But I’m not one to really talk.) Generally, I don’t sidle up to happy hours; but the Cavs were on deck – against the Heat, no less! – and promising a great game, so why resist? A happy hour(or two) was inevitable, and the Ranch’s menu sounded like a fun Unilocal review. My review, then, rests entirely upon the shoulders of Saddle Ranch’s Happy Hour: its menu, its service, its appeal.(I’ve tried nothing more.) So listen: for 2 ½ hours, all appetizers and drinks – even the specialties – are 50% off! Normally, the Nachos(with added grilled chicken) comes to $ 15.00, but during Happy Hour, they’re $ 7.50. And these nachos are mountainous! Easily, they’re plated for three; but the two of us made an applaud-worthy dent nevertheless. And the full-sized and full-flavored Cheese Quesadilla – again, too much food for one – is an easy $ 5.00. Added, an Angry Orchard and a Wyder’s Cider at Happy Hour prices, and our total, sweetened by another Labron win, came to $ 19.71. For this price, Saddle Ranch is worth giving a shot. By the way, Tanner was our server. He’s a cool guy, and he made spending a couple hours at Saddle Ranch even more fun. Ask for him.

I have not eaten at this location for food(note: generally, I do NOT like SR for food); however, have been here for drinks a few times and ooh, I like! There is a nice outdoor bar, as well as an indoor bar. Both have ample seating — can’t say that I have counted the stools but probably 12 outside and maybe 15 — 20 inside? The outdoor bar is where I like to hang out, regardless of the weather. The reason for that is that even in the winter time, there are heaters above the barstools. Even in the frigid 50-degree California winter, you can stay warm and snuggly with your pint, while watching any of the sports that are on the various televisions. I’m not sure if it was happy hour or not, or if they even DO a happy hour, but I was pretty snazzed to get a $ 6 pint of Guinness. Deliciousness!

I came here for my birthday on a Monday and was very happy with my experience. In my opinion, the best part about Saddle Ranch is the atmosphere. The food and service are good too, but it is just an overall fun place to be. Our waitress(didn’t catch her name) was really sweet and made me feel very special for my birthday, which is why I am giving this restaurant five stars. She was great about bringing drinks out quickly as well. Prior to making the reservation, I had no idea that they offered bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas during the day! Score! The mimosas were so good; they offered several different kinds. I ordered the«Pink Lady» a few times and it was delicious. I ordered one Bloody Mary, which also has different variations. I went with the BBQ flavored Bloody Mary but it ended up tasting like pure BBQ sauce; I think next time I’ll just stick with the classic Bloody Mary! They even brought me a complimentary sour patch kids shot for my birthday and it was so good. The food was tasty as well. I ordered the 5 sliders and I liked them a lot! Everyone else in my party seemed to enjoy their food as well. This is definitely a great place to celebrate a birthday and maybe even ride the mechanical bull if you are brave enough!

Pretty decent restaurant located at the Outlets of Orange. I came here on a Saturday to try their food. When I came over here, I was seated right away. Awesome!!! Food: Ordered the Blacken Chicken & Sundried Tomato Pasta($ 17.99) and added the Jumbo Garlic Shrimp to my meal for extra $ 10.99. The portion of the meal is so huge, it’s actually for pretty serious eaters. Not even joking. My late lunch or early dinner or whatever we call it nowadays is so good. A little spicy though. Price: The food here are pretty expensive, but worth it. Service: Service here is great. The servers here are pretty honest. Other stuff: They have TVs to watch some sports or even some music video. And they also have the bull ride. Also, I was offered to ride on the bull. But because I did not have enough time to do so, I was unable to accept the offer at this time. Maybe next time. Overall: Not bad for the first visit. I will update this as soon I come back here and ride on the bull. 4 stars!!!
