Can anyone tell us why 5 n 2 boarded up and closed? I don’t see it listed on the County Health Closures.

First off, I only review burgers. This place is a little over a mile away from my house. It caught my eye because the name of the place had a Christian reference(The miracle of the 5 loaves and 2 fish) and because it was a burger and sushi place. Those are two foods that you don’t normally see together. The place can seat a lot of customers, but every time I’ve gone, there have only been a handful of patrons. First time I went, I tried the sushi. It’s on par with sushi boy. No need to try it unless you dig cheap quality sushi. The menu is a combination of Mexican dishes, burgers, Asian teriyaki bowls and sushi. There are about 70+ things you could order from their menu. @_@ Also tried a turkey club sandwich, a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich, one of their breakfast specials, a breakfast burrito and of course, their burger(not on the same visit). ;) Their burger is exactly what you would expect from any similar burger joint. The patty is thin and the ingredients fresh. I probably would never crave the burger, but chances are you’ll find me here again supporting this Christian establishment. WHAT I ORDERED: Main — Burger combo + cheese: 3⁄5 Turkey club sandwich: 3⁄5(turkey was pretty processed tasting) Grilled chicken club: 3⁄5(chicken was dry and chewy) Breakfast special: 3⁄5(same as a grand slam) Breakfast burrito: 4⁄5(hash browns were great inside the burrito) Sides — Fries: 3⁄5 STAFF: The Mexican cashier is nice. WAITTIME: Zero PORTION: Good size(especially burritos) BANGFORYOURBUCK: Decent WOULD I RETURN: Even though the food is average at best, I love going here because it’s: a) close b) not crowded c) Christian owned

Previous Unilocalers have said this place is strange … and strange it is! I have worked down the street for almost ten years, since it was Ted’s Burgers(which is in fact the name on the menu in my desk that I still use, which is basically unchanged). It has always been a little bit dirty and cafeteria-like, and a little mediocre. The food and its prices are perfectly suitable for a quick lunch break. In fact, it seems their goal is to cater to the working-class lunch-break crowd. I would probably avoid taking a date there.

I have driven past this joint for like the last year and always considered going in and finally did. This place is the weirdest combination of foods that you will ever come across just about. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However they carry: Mexican, Burgers, Sandwiches, Japanese, and Sushi. So if you are indecisive, you definitely do not want to come here under any condition. PROTIP: Discounts for Cops, Firemen, Military, and Sr Citizens. They have a Japanese sushi chef on site who will make sushi fresh for you They have 16 types of sushi listed on the menu but also have sushi chef specials on a dry erase board. PROTIP #2: 5 visits = 1 free meal Well I got a burger and it was just so so… I was trying to be good and thus had an apple to go with it instead of fries… luckily I had brought an apple to work. The overall restaurant seemed clean. But for all the chairs that they had, there wasnt hardly a soul there. At 1:30 that is kinda weird for a lunch joint. They have free wifi and a couple of TVs showing random sports in the corners of the restaurant. I am not all that into this joint as it just seems peculiar for whatever reason. But I dont think many others are either… *shrugs*

Good Bugers and Good Sushi at the same place… Need I say more? Good prices and way above average food for a hybrid food spot.

I could not decide what I wanted! So, I told the guy… make me the most popular thing you have… gluten free of course, and he made me a Teriyaki Chicken Plate with a Salad. OMG!!! This was so good! The place was extremely clean and easy, fast service! They even have sushi! Just not on Sunday’s…I LOVE that it’s all fresh grilled white meat chicken and you get waaaaay more of a portion than at Flame Broiler; did I mention the price? $ 6.95!!! Not bad! Oh yeah… AND a drink is included!!! My new fave!

5 n 2! I wouldnt grade them on their sushi as its probably not their best item. Of what I had, i cant complain. Burgers are pretty good, and i dig the wet burrito.

Burger, Burritos, Fish and Sushi. This place is right out of a story book. They make and sell just about everything. I am not sure I would busy sushi here but I did order a burger. I am not sure what 5 n 2 stands for but I believe it may be related to a religious quote or something. This restaurant is for sure the jack of all trades of places to eat. I think my main issue was the rude lady and made me feel like I wasn’t welcomed.

Points for their odd selection of items and the combinations it makes possible. However, the sushi was inedible(I ate a few bites of mine and sampled the rest of my groups sushi) and I tossed it. I also got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was average. The price was very affordable and the concept intriguing but it did not really pan out for me as good food. My group was also disappointed to find that you could not order breakfast foods at any time of the day. We had all been excited to do a burger or burrito, waffles, and sushi. I will not be going back, but who knows… maybe others might enjoy the quirkiness of this place and not really mind the actual flavors involved.

This place is decent and the prices are reasonable. In addition, they make everything from sushi to mexican food, burgers and breakfast. I’ve had nothing bad here and though the food won’t blow you away, they are fast and convenient.

I like the wide variety of foods this place offers. You can get sushi, or a burger, or some fish and chips. The portions are huge and you really get your money’s worth. The blessing of versatility and wide variety, however, is also the curse of no mastery. The chicken bacon sandwich was a bit dry. The fish tenders were just too salty. And the fries are too thick to be crunchy, and too thin to have the soft inside/crispy outside balance. The french toast is soggy. The wireless internet is a nice touch. And the place has potential. But it just has to focus at getting better with the foods; to understand that you can’t put any and all foods in the fryer and through a raging salt storm and think it’ll be good. I have not tried their sushi, and will not offer comments.

Hey, I liked the Jessica Roll. But Yvonne’s right, this place is super low rent. I only go her because I can walk here from work. And it’s here or 7-Eleven. Food is adequate. Once I get a car I’m not sure I’ll be returning though.
