I love the pear cider. The breakfast is awesome. The prossuitto with the brussetta is great. Also the atmosphere is great. The egg burrito is to die for.

Great place in downtown Orange to sample some excellent craft beers. Been here a few times over the years under the I think three different owners. They still have a great tap list with about 20 unusual & hard to find choices. Friendly service and I love the flight options. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Wow, this place has fallen so far since we lived here. Server was disinterested at best, tried to engage her about beer selection, she brightened marginally. Ordered the house-smoked bratwurst and beer flight. Server was in better spirits delivering our beer, perhaps it was the generous tip I stuffed into the tip jar(note to self: in the future, tip AFTER you’ve received your food.) Beers were… decent, used to be a more eclectic selection, but, that’s not the beers’ fault. Brat arrives, server brings ONE napkin for TWO people? I guessed she figured since she gave us 2 forks and 2 knives, we could split a napkin. Cut into brat, brown on outside but soooo pink in middle it was nearly red. Thought maybe because it’s smoked, I mean, I grew up in the South where we know a thang or two bout smoking meats, but, uhhh, shouldnt the pink from being smoked be on the outside? Anyway, bit into it, and the consistency of the meat confirmed our fear… it was undercooked. Brought it back, chef said, «it’s smoked it’ll be pink» I said I understood the concept, it may have been smoked, but was still undercooked. Begrudgingly said they’d make another, we didn’t feel like waiting any longer, asked for money back on the brat. Young man who handled the refund was very nice and professional, only bright star to an otherwise really disappointing visit to a place we used to look forward to going out of the way for.

I feel like my love for beer continues to grow with each passing day. Casual chill beer spots like Provisions are super awesome. Located in old town Orange, this place has a wide variety of beers, from lagers to IPAs to stouts. I sampled the Serpent’s Stout and the 64 Impala, which were both amazing. Decided to go with the Hess Magna Cucurbita Pumpkin Stout and it did not disappoint. One of the best things about Provisions is that they literally fill your glass to the brim! If you’re a beer fanatic, you definitely need to check this place out! Bottoms up! :D

The portola coffee lab here is a little underwhelming. Most of their other locations are pretty on point with not only having most if not all of their beans available for purchase but they are also fresh as well(meaning roasted within 2 – 4 days or so) today when I went not only did they NOT have 2 out of the three coffees I was looking for the one they did have available is pushing a week old now. One thing I do appreciate is the barista telling me that they were expecting fresh beans tomorrow. Unfortunately he told me after I already bought the week old beans lol. I can easily order coffee from verve, blue bottle(nor cal) or intelligentsia in Chicago and get fresher beans then going to my local Portola. I feel like I’m constantly let down by portola even though I really want to like them.

Tried the Heavenly Hef and a Black Currant beer. Both beers were actually amazing. Best Hef I’ve ever had. The Black Currant beer was very sour, but it was one of those sours you just cant stop drinking-it makes you salivate. Knocked my socks off. And I was wearing my nice ones too. This place is like… super fun, low key, will come back for more.

Provisions is back! Not that they ever left, but with their new breakfast and lunch menu Provisions is the place to be. Love the vibe in here. Everyone is always so engaging and passionate here. Not to mention… Portola Coffee is now served! This vintage snack n’ spirits eatery is here to stay and we love it! Suggestions: Nutella toast Homemade Gronola Vanilla Espresso Beer, beer, beer, and Brie

When Field of dreams meets Beer of dreams. ” If you build it. they will come“ There couldn’t be a more perfect setting for me to hang out at. The outside patio consists of hanging lights, park benches, and a giant smoker. This is the ideal backyard to me, for when I do one day grow up. The beer selection is massive! They carry all the hard to gets and then some! Pick any brew you like and pay the $ 2 dollar corking fee. def coming back !

This is a really cool spot to chill at. They have a pretty wide selection of beer on draft as well as tons of individual bottles for sale. They also serve sandwiches, Charcuterie Board as well as some snacks. The coffee bar looks promising as well. I came here to get the heavenly hefe, one of my all time favorite beers. You should definitely come check it out.

eep! very average! I do get the idea… grab a coffee from portola and mosey over to provisions for breakfast(or lunch later in the day). I occasionally like breakfast-on-the-go, and I especially like it if it does not come from starbucks. Breakfast from provision probably is not its shining star, but decent enough for a bite it eat early in the morning. I may consider coming back to try one of the toasts, but alas they are firmly lunch items… maybe another time.

Great selection of rotating craft beer in Oc’s best down town; Flights at a reasonable price. A nice back patio to enjoy with your pet pooch; A variety of cheeses, meats and the occasional grilled cheese; What’s not to like about this place? This place is a consistent top spot that balances quality choice of beverage, atmosphere and snacks without being a «scene» of pretentiousness or a dive.

Nested in a cozy slice of the Orange Circle, Provisions is a Tier I supplier of craft beers and great food. My only knock would be the priciness, but you get what you pay for. lm here often enjoying the ever changing selection of brews and the charismatic staff. From management down these guys do it right. #1 choice in Orange for a night of craft beer and good eats.

If you love beer then you must go here. lots and lots of beers! A Portola coffee popup is inside this market as well. They serve a limited breakfast menu. I got to try the toast with housemade jam, meditterean egg benedict, brioche with proscuitto french toast. Check it out if you’re in the area and want a good beer selection.

I went in there one evening after yoga and wanted to inquire about their cheeses and charcuterie meats for sale. There was a line at the food counter so I made the mistake of heading over to the coffee area to speak with the barista and ask him a question whether the establishment sold cheeses and meats. He was rude, condescending, and dismissive. He said he was the coffee guy and I needed to ask my questions to the food counter. All I asked was if he knew if the market continued to sell cheese and meats. I am having a Halloween wine party this weekend and was eager, willing and happy to make my purchase at a local business instead of Whole Foods. But his customer service left a distinctly sour taste in my mouth. I will be sure to spread the word to all OUSD employees to avoid at all costs! I understand it was late on Tuesday night and maybe they normally stock these products in the morning. Nevertheless a simple yes or no would have warranted a return shopping visit. However not anymore. Hipster gone wrong.

I am giving them 2 stars because there’s a Portola, which I love(the iced mocha is a must!). I do not recommend eating here — bought 3 sandwiches for $ 50… Let that sink it… I don’t mind paying more for great food, however, this was definitely not the case. I could have made better sandwiches at home. They were dry, and plain. The side salad it came with was delicious! And we enjoyed it more than the actual food. So, unless you want to pay $ 50 for 3 side salads I would suggest going ANYWHEREELSE.

This review is a compilation of over multiple visits and needles to say this is how I feel truly. Beer selection at times have been very good to undrinkable. The beer shelf contains some unique offerings at stupid high prices so avoid. Food is average and doesn’t reflect realistic price point. No one should be charging $ 25 for a charcuterie board with selection of some unknown supplier. Lose the attitude especially the two owners who are also own Haven Gastropub. I can say a lot but when you have certain events you treat regulars such as myself like crap. You don’t cater to Chapman Students who make up clientele for local businesses in the circle. I’m no longer going to be supporting you and will be taking my business to somewhere else.

Pricey beers, small pours, and a slow kitchen, what is not to love? Maybe I am just being a curmudgeon, but it just was not all that interesting, and no where near as good as Haven, which apparently owns the place. A group of us came here after work, and the space is nice for a group, and they have a back patio, but it isn’t someplace I would pick for a return. The beer pours were all about 10 ounces, and not inexpensive at that. OK, maybe they are all microbrew craft beers, but they didn’t seem all that special. I am not a beer snob, and I am not looking for a PBR, but I just want a pint of a decent beer. I figured I would get something for the group, and ordered a mushroom fondue or something like it and it was really a cup of thick soup. It was OK tasting, but not really the type of thing I was expecting. The other food items looked OK, but not all that amazing, and they were not coming out of the kitchen very fast.

This place is unique and really cool. It doubles as a beer/cheese market and a mini deli – their walls are lined with beer & wine bottles for sale, but they’ve also got a little menu with sandwiches and various cheese and/or pickled appetizers. Four of us came here the other day and situated ourselves on the barstools next to a wine barrel table. We ordered four different beers(mostly stouts, all tasty) and a large cheese and charcuterie board; the bearded man who brought it out to us was extremely friendly and obviously very good at what he did – it was beautiful! Pickled watermelon, mustard, jam, honey, three different types of cheese, salami(hot and normal) and pickled beets. Seriously impressive and we demolished it. The store itself has a very cozy feel and has some cute products that can either be used at home or given as a unique fun gift for the chef in your life. The menu isn’t very large, just a few sandwiches and some appetizers really, but everything we ordered was great. I would suggest Provisions for the more serious beer drinkers and chefs in the crowd – this place screams for the«well, the earthy undertones suggest…» and«I detect a sharp, sweet, nutty flavor…» comments. Put your fancy clothes on and act the part, friends.
