Hello Kitty UYE at Hello Tokyo

Bff organized an event several months ago for Hello Tokyo’s grand opening! Unfortunately, it was held on the day of my friend’s wedding, so I had to make sure I squeezed some time to see Hello Kitty, buy some stuff since they had a kick ass deal on stuff, and eat some delicious ube macapuno cupcakes given away for free by bff’s friend, Oh Sue Sweet. The event was such a success with probably over 700 people in attendance!
Overall, I love this store only because I love Hello Kitty! I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m in the area!

Hello Kitty Unilocal Event:
Awesome event for kiddoes and adults alike! There was a great turnout of families with their excited daughters, teenagers, and even guys wearing Hello Kitty apparel. So adorable! It was a very organized event and I was able to get my free little goodie bag, YAY! I got my photo taken with THE Hello Kitty (I refuse to believe there was a human being inside the costume LOL). Thank you for the delicious purple yam coconut cupcakes from Oh Sue Sweet, the amazing 30% discount on my purchase, and the raffling of prizes (though I didn’t win anything, boohoo). Great job on the event Jayne L.
The store:
It’s a small store, but they have everything! Okay maybe not everything, but there’s so many cute toys, clothes, and accessories. There’s Hello Kitty, Domo Kun, Totoro, Pokemon, Mario Bros., and other miscellaneous stuff. I would definitely go broke from browsing this shop, but hey YOLO!
I will be back for the HK car accessories for my new car!!!

If you are a Hello Kitty fan, this place is for you.
However, I want to call them out on a little false advertising. They announced a 30% discount without specifying that you need to check-​in on Unilocal to get that discount. Additionally, they did not specify that there’s a minimum of $ 5 to avail the discount.
I wish they had other Sanrio stuff too. Not really a fan of Hello Kitty but my mom and sis are. They enjoyed their visit here and bought quite a few things. The line got long but the checkout didn’t take long.

LOVE this store and LOVE the products! They have awesome products that most Sanrio stores don’t carry! If you are in the area of the Outlets of Orange, you have to stop by, even just to browse.
Grand opening was crazy, but a lot of fun! Thanks to all of the organizers! Great job!
I heard that they did have a winner for the giant Hello Kitty doll. It was given to someone who was smart enough to write their phone number on the back of the raffle ticket. I stayed til the end too, didn’t win anything but had a great time hanging out and looking at all the cool Hello Kitty, Angry Birds and Domo stuff!

They have a large selection of hello kitty clothes that most sanrio stores lack. They had a lot of other things such as domo, rilakuma, and animé related things, but i feel like the store lacked in some ways compared to sanrio stores. I was there for the opening event which had a lot of fanfare and 30% off! How often can you get hello kitty on sale?!

I was here over the weekend for Jayne’s UYE and I had a great time! I attended this event to cater my mini ube macapuno cupcakes to the Unilocalers of Hello Tokyo!
Hello Kitty was at this event and I took a picture with her! From 30% off on items for Unilocalers to free raffles, I think Jayne did a great job of organizing this. I also want to thank you Kathy V for helping out!
I heard people were complaining about the hello kitty doll grand prize. I mean, come on people! I know you hoped to win, but no need to hate on Jayne’s UYE. She did an awesome job!

Thanks for the 30% on your opening day! I was able to get what I wanted with a discount price. However, I’m disappointed at the quality of the iPad case… it doesn’t really fit at all… =(
Other than that, thanks for inviting Hello Kitty to join the party, and thanks for the cupcake!

LOVE this store!
No child in tow, I proudly walked into the store and ooh’d and ahhh’d at all of the merchandise!
I was in heaven and didn’t want to leave since a flood of memories came rushing back. DOMO! Yes, silently yelling. Ok… They have Angry Birds, Nintendo, Pokemon, Sanrio and so much more! Don’t tell hubby I bought a few items! Had to, how can you not?
If it weren’t for Jayne putting together this UYE, I would not have made a trip down here and now, they have a new found customer. And thank you Hello Tokyo for not having an age limit for visiting your store!

Went with my girlfriend and 4 friends in the beginning and stayed for about 3 hours. Also stayed for the one hour of raffle drawings with a smile on my face right up to the point where they didn’t give the final prize to anyone who was patiently waiting in the store.

I am extremely disappointed with the UYE Hello Kitty event that was held today. The mini cupcakes were delicious though, thank you! Jayne was very nice but I wish she was there at the end for the grand prize raffle because I’m pretty sure that she would have raffled out the giant hello kitty. I’m an elite Unilocaler and hardcore hello kitty fan and the rules for the raffles was that you had to be present to win. I was there from 11−2pm as were my other hk lovers and they didn’t give out the giant hk. We also purchased alot from the store. The girls at the store were very nice and helpful.

When I read about this UYE I was ready to start trying to «borrow» a little girl to go. (I didn’t want to look like the only grown up/​weirdo in a Hello Kitty event)
But there is no need for that!

I didn’t hear who won the raffle. Oh well!
