Where do I start? I went and saw Dr. Jeremy Smith about 2 months ago for a second opinion on back surgery I had in January 2015 that has not been successful. My appointment was at 10am and I was taken back at 11:30am, and seen by the doctor around 12:30pm. If I wasn’t desperate for this second opinion I would have probably left. It was like the DMV in the waiting room!!! The staff was unorganized. The woman that took me to get my X-rays when she was done sent me down this long hall and said your room is down that way after you make a left. She didn’t even walk me back to the room. Here I am wandering down the halls looking in different rooms for my purse. So then I see Dr. Smith, he seems thorough and gives me an action plan. He also says to stay in touch and gives me his email. I did everything he asked. Epidural, neurologist… And now he has been MIA. He won’t return calls or emails. I just wasted all this time, money, effort and he did not do his end of this commitment which is provide a professional opinion based off the results of the test/procedures that he recommended. I called his assistant again yesterday to find out she is «out» for 30 days and someone would return my call. I got a voicemail at 5:15pm saying my insurance does not require a referral to see a neurologist. I know that!!! I already went! I was looking for Dr. Jeremy Smith to follow up. I just can’t to do it anymore! Avoid this practice at all possible cost unless you want to go insane.

Dr. Smith seems well versed in spinal medicine; but he has no concern for your time or informing the patient of options. How do I know?! I WAITEDONEAND A HALFHOURS see him on the first appointment at 10am in the morning(how do you get this far behind after being open for 2 and ½ hours?!). No apology from Dr. Smith or his staff. They will send you 2 texts to make sure you are on time to the appointment, but no call/text or warning from his staff in the waiting room. He runs the appointment in a brisk, rushed manner and you have to ask A LOT of questions in the 12 minutes I had. I had to «drive» the appointment to make sure I received the physical therapy prescription and medication I needed to avoid a repeat appointment. This assembly line medicine is unfortunate. I’m hoping he’s better in more serious spinal problems.
