When visiting in-laws in Orange, theres just not a lot of green, healthy options for this Austin girl. Usually we find ourselves eating pizza or big-as-yo-face chicken fried steak or Walmart fried chicken at 9 o’clock at nite. And for breakfast we hit up the Denny’s. sigh Well, imagine my surprise upon opening the menu to see that gorgeous green dish I have photographed. The Green Machine Skillet: chicken sausage, eggs, broccoli, spinach, potatoes and avocado. While most everyone else ordered their Rooty Tooty Grand Slam Alakazoo calorie bomb, I was soooo very happy with my Green Machne. While their hearts were slowing down, mine was leaping for joy. The staff here has always been prompt and courteous to our sometimes large family group, coffee’s hot if that’s ur thing, and food really decent. Never thought I’d say this, but I’ll look forward to eating at Denny’s when next I’m in Orange.

Not horrible not amazing. I’m local and it’s nice to be known when you go in sometimes. One waitress knows exactly what we drink and what appetizer we like to get most visits…

The restaurant was clean, the meal was hot the portion was just right. There was too much waitresses and you still have to wait cause they have to take care of the locals first

If I could give less I would. The last two times we went will be the last ever for me. The first time half our order was completely wrong and second time we couldn’t flag anyone down to even be seated. It was virtually empty with only about 6 customers in the whole place and manager looked straight at us but kept playing on his laptop. The table near the front checkout kept trying to flag down a waitress to get their ticket while we waited so it didn’t look like they had service either.

Had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table but service was fast! Tables were clean and food was good! Coffee was hot and fresh! Plenty of food on the $ 4 value meal for my growing boy! Waitress and staff were very friendly!

Our 15 minute wait turned out to be only 10 minutes Served promptly and efficiently. Breakfast food good as usual including pancakes, omelets and grits Everyone nice. Normally places like this are chaotic and slow Not this time. This location is connected to a gas station and quick stop So u can save time when traveling. Fish and chipd typical frozen fare. Nice waitstaff. clanking dishes and noisey.(Typical of all places like this.). Not a bad choice for us today. Glad we stopped by.

In the Orange area, if you want to get in and get out quick, and have some good breffass in the process then this is the place. I’ve always had good experiences at this particular Denny’s and I frequent it when I’m up early enough to eat what they call breakfast.(lol) The staff is awesome at making you feel comfortable and they don’t mind giving a little extra here and there off the record. Denny’s is by far the best«Franchised» breakfast in Orange.
