Literally worst service here and their food is as close to mediocre as it’ll get. we came here during their lunch special and literally halfway DURING our meal the server comes up to us and basically rushes us to hurry and finish our food because«someone else comes at 3 to take over the business» huh??? whatever that even means. she basically forced us to give them our cards so we could pay all throughout us eating our food. when they came back with our cards they kept staring at us so we could hurry up and finish our food. we felt rushed the ENTIRE time! that’s never happened to me at anyyyy restaurant and that’s definitely nottttt how you make customers feel if they’re paying for your business. the only plus was that my friend’s curry was good, but it’s safe to say that I’m never coming back here again.

Dropped in for the first time with three buddies for dinner. We each got separate $ 9.99 dinners and all agreed was surprisingly tasty, especially for the price. Was somewhat empty when we first arrived, but got crowded by the time we left. Will go back again, they did a great job especially for the price range.

I placed an order for pick-up and it took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready. Calling in an order was fast and easy. I got the pad thai dinner special, which came with salad, rice, an eggroll, and 2 pieces of fried wonton. The salad dressing and wonton/eggroll sauce were each separated in a small container. The pad thai was a bit on the sweet side and very simple, without the usual bunch of peanuts, radish, and beansprouts. It has zero spice, so keep that in mind if you like spicy food. It was a simple dinner that did the job — fast, easy, and good.

This place is a truly authentic thai restaurant. Being half Thai myself it brought me so much joy to find this place and eating everything that we ordered. If I had a bigger stomach I would have tried everything on the menu. First we had the wonton soup. I was almost disappointed when I saw a clear soup and the chicken didn’t look cooked but boy I was blown away. It did have flavor and the chicken was good. There were shrimp and a good amount of wontons. We then ordered the bbq ribs, shrimp fried rice and drunken noodles with chicken. Amazing dishes. We had to take some food home because it was a nice sized serving for both of us to share. We will definitely return to try something else on the menu.

First timer! Simply loved the food and service. Wide range of food choices within the menu, as well as fair pricing on alcoholic beverages. Good customer service, attentive and check up to see if you need anything more. Plus, they help with suggestions on the menu. Definitely will be coming back!

I’m sorry but this was one of the most disappointing Thai restaurants we’ve ever been too. My boyfriend got the pad Thai dinner special which supposedly came in larger portions. That was definitely not the case. It felt like it was the size of a lunch special but just came with wontons and an egg roll. I don’t think that’s worth the extra $ 2. Yes, I’m cheap lol. I got the Tom Kah chicken, which had cheap ingredients and hard chicken bits. Didn’t even finish my rice. For $ 10.95, I felt ripped off. This is located in a small suburban plaza and it was quite empty on a Sunday lunch time. Not sure why the reviews are so grand here. At least service was helpful which is a plus. The only plus.

One of the few Thai restaurants which are really good in orange county. The place is very clean, the menu is good and food tastes just excellent. Vegetarians will be happy as well. I tried the spicy fried rice and it just mesmerized my taste buds. The hot pot soup(forgot the exact name) is just to die for. Its coconut milk based and it somehow tastes just right. I would love to come here more often and try other things.

This service here is great! I came for a lunch break. I ordered Thai iced tea and egg rolls because I wasn’t that hungry. As I was waiting for my egg rolls, the waitress gave me a complementary wonton soup. It was small but that’s all I needed! The Thai iced tea wasn’t too sweet which was nice. And you can’t go wrong with egg rolls. It wasn’t oily like some places. I would come back here to try their main courses.

This is place is great. Will definitely come before angel games if I’m crazing Thai food. I had the eggs rolls, and the green curry with shrimp. Also, the service was excellent. Waitress was super nice and accommodating for special requests I made.

Surprisingly good! The atmosphere inside does not reflect the sketchy parking lot vibe. The food was great! The service could have been better but they were slammed and had an unruly customer that the tiny woman who was running the place escorted out! It was entertaining but tense. Also, dodging the drunks in the parking lot and avoiding the drunk panhandlers made it a little unnerving. But the food is good… End of the day, I’ll be back for sure!

Closest Thai place to my house and my dad and sister said they didn’t like it that much when they ate it without me… how could they do that to me! Decided to try for myself with my BF for lunch one day. Located at the very end of a small strip plaza and plenty of parking since that plaza doesn’t seem to get crowded at all. Seated right away with only one other party in there at the time. What we got: Beef Pad Thai Dinner Special($ 10): you could order the dinner special any time! It comes with soup, salad, white/brown or fried rice, 2 fried wontons, and an egg roll. Soup was really good, it had wontons and whole bunch of garlic! Salad wasn’t that good because the dressing tasted watered down. Fried rice didn’t have any flavor, it was like white rice mixed with carrots and egg. Fried wontons tasted a little burnt to me. Egg roll was like a good size normal egg roll, but just veggies inside. Pad thai needed more lime squeezed into it and the beef didn’t taste like beef to me honestly… Service: Attentive ladies. Water glasses were always refilled. Dirty/finished dishes were taken away. Lime and spice tray was brought out right away when we asked them for it. It was a lot of food too and both of us had leftovers to be taken home.

Had lunch with a friend today and it was a great experience. Very clean, modern, and nice atmosphere and furnishings. Good casual place for business or family dining. I ordered the red curry lunch special w/rice, side salad, and wonton soup for $ 7.99. My friend ordered the Pad Thai for about the same price. I ordered mine at a spicy level of 7 out of a scale from 1 – 10 and it was just how I liked it. As a matter of fact, I probably could do an 8 or 9 if I felt like serious heat. $ 20 out the door including tax and tip. Friendly and prompt service. Good food. They even have papaya salad on the menu which is one of those rare things that tell you this is a real Thai restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.

I came here for lunch with my sister and mom. I really enjoyed it. My favorite dishes were the papaya salad and the chicken basil, which had a kick to it. They have an awesome wonton soup, super simple but full of flavor. My sister really enjoys the yellow curry chicken lunch special which includes a soup and salad. The staff was super friendly however not always on top things. I had to wave them down a lot. Reasonable prices, I think it’s great for lunch.

If you’re looking for quick and pretty decent Thai food, this is your place! I ordered the veggie yellow curry($ 8.95) but it didn’t automatically come with rice($ 1.50)… Isn’t it a given that I’ll be needing rice with my curry? Service was pretty standard — waters got refilled and out check was given to us promptly after we finished eating. The only issue I had today was that there a price sticker on the back of my spoon! Glad to see that I’m getting a brand-spanking-new spoon but that means that it wasn’t washed yet.

Been picking up lunch to go more than a few times and lately it has been more of a disappointment. Portions are smaller than most places to begin with, which is fine since the flavor is usually on point. But when they barely fill up a container half way is a no no.

part 2 of Andy P adventures in OC: Cha Thai. I am a sucker for Thai food, and I was driving from LA to SD again, AND Andy P was free to meet up(this is his new hood sort of), so it was perfect! The service here is really good, parking is easy, and prices are very reasonable!(think ~$ 9-$ 10 a dish pretax, pretip). We ordered: –pad see ew beef –pineapple fried rice with chicken, come also with shrimp –pad thai with chicken So basically the American-est things possible. My favorite was the pad see ew, which had a pretty good depth of flavor but wasn’t anything to write home about. All the dishes were good, but I have had better. I think 3.5 stars for food because it was enjoyable but not THE best i’ve had, but the service was so good and friendly, the price was right, and all around the experience was very good!

Yikes how did Unilocal steer me wrong? I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special with Thai iced tea. This came with watery wonton soup(really just water broth with one wonton and two pieces of cabbage), a salad with watered down dressing(ginger? I couldn’t tell since it was mostly water), and a ball of rice, which doesn’t make sense to me since the lunch doesn’t come with a fried wonton or egg roll. The portion was ok, but I really wished they offered a spice option. Tasted kind of bland without it. I wanted to ask for the chili sauces but the waitress never came back to my table after she delivered my food. I had a small water and it was never refilled until I asked for a box and the check. Maybe because all the water was in the salad and soup? Anyway I wouldn’t come here again since obviously service was not a priority and the food was bland.

A coworker and I decided to head here for lunch, not knowing anything before going. Luckily, there were a lot of positive reviews posted, reflected by the rating I saw when I checked in. We both ordered a lunch special, mice a curry and his a noodle dish. Both were good. I probably would skip the lunch special in the future, as I am not a big fan of the soup(decent) and salad(standard) that was served with the meal. The place was fairly crowded and the service was so-so. It took a while to flag someone down to get a refill on my water, but the ordering and food delivery were fast. So if you can eat without needing anything extra, you shouldn’t have an issue with the service. They do ask how how you want it, and they were pretty good in adjusting the spice level. I prefer moderate on an actual Thai scale, and the food was hot enough to have good flavor but not so hot it was uncomfortable to eat. Overall, it was certainly worth a second visit, and probably a 3rd or 4th down the road.

So very authentic! Every plate I’ve ever ordered here has been completely satisfying. You’ll get the most bang for your buck by ordering a lunch or dinner special(there are plenty to choose from). Each time I’ve dined here it’s been very busy but the staff does a good job about getting your order in and your food out to you quick. Are they friendly about it? Not so much but I don’t mind because the food arrives to your table in a super timely manner. I really enjoy their Pad Thai and Pan Prik here. Pad Keep Mow is also delicious. On a cold day, try their Tum Yum soup that comes in a hot pot! I order all my dishes spicy! They have a spice range from 1 – 10 and I typically go with the level 9.
