Great for a last minute place to get a quick trim. Clean salon. LaFarrah was very accommodating. Didn’t really appreciate the other stylist referring to black/​coarse hair as «really ugly» hair while trying to sell their Brazilian blow out treatment.
So since this incident took place the owner called and apologized. I appreciate her business acumen and top notch customer service and satisfaction.

My Family and I have been going to blue leaf since the salon opened. I have had nothing but wonderful expediences with Tomeka and her staff. They are all very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in their work. Since I’ve started going to Blue leaf I have had the chance to try different colors and styles with the confidence that my hair is in good hands. I love my hair more than ever now. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

This salon is owned by a hair stylist that does not have much experience, nor does most of her staff, but she will talk a great game make you feel confident in her but she really just can not deliver. I allowed Tomeka (the owner) to do my highlights and trim once she was done it looked as if I had my hair done about a month prior… the highlights did not start at the scalp that started about 1 inch down and the trim, well she just combed/​brushed my hair straight and just went straight across the bottom… no sections, no layers were trimmed just straight across the bottom… The staff talks about customers once they leave and not nicely… I do not mind paying for my hair, I am use to paying a hundred plus per visit but they are charging much more than other high end salons but can not deliver high end work! Needless to say I will not be going back EVER

Tomeka is amazing and so is her staff. I had the best shampoo ever with one of her staff members and Tomeka did my color (balayage) and trim and style. She actually trimmed my hair unlike other places and I couldn’t even tell my hair got cut. They have the best quality products and my hair looks and feels more healthy after my appointment. I live all the way in key west and will always get my hair done with her now whenever I go and visit my family in Jacksonville. Go see Tomeka, you won’t regret it.
