In town for a baseball tournament and staying in Fort Morgan. Not too many places to choose from so we headed into Orange Beach. With out a doubt this was the Best breakfast place ever! Service was top notch and the food so YUMMY. Our waiter Craig was fantastic. He was very knowledgable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Even convinced my very pick eater to try someone new. We will defiantly be back before we leave.

I could go on and on about how great the food is. I could tell you it’s worth the wait if they’re busy. I could share with you my wish that there were some locations in the Midwest(where I’m from). Instead I’ll just say you should go there. Go there for breakfast, go there for lunch, go there for brunch. Call it what you may, just go there because the food is fantastic. ‘Nuff said.

The service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed the lobster brie omelet, though I would have liked a touch more seasoning. We also had the crabcake benedict which was flavorful and the sauce was slightly spicy and delicious. The Mediterranean potatoes were definitely worth the upgrade! Had I known the half price cocktails started at noon I may have changed my brunch timing!

Party of one for breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Promptly greeted by a very friendly hostess and manager. It was not crowded and the manager gave me my choice of seats. My server, Gina introduced herself and took my drink order. Being my first time here it took me a few minutes to decide and Gina’s knowledge of the menu made my choice easier. While waiting on my order Gina kept my cup topped off with coffee. One thing I noticed was every server was smiling and interacting with their tables on a personal level. My server was no different. Very personable, nice smile, menu knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient! My food arrived and it was hot and very good. I had the BLT with avocado and country fries. All in all I’m giving 5 stars based on the overall execution of an awesome dining experience. Clearly the management knows the secret of success begins with great and uniform service. Managers were making the rounds to make sure guests were happy with their meals. Someone at this place UNDERSTANDS the recipe for a successful business! Great job!

On vacation and found this on Unilocal.Warm blackberries on creamy creamy grits — yummy. Huevos Rancheros«de la Craig: add avocado and chorizo — just the right amount of spice for brunch. Attentive service from Craig. Check out the menu.

OMG! What a great little restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the coffee was hot. This is somewhere that I will visit again. It is a chain restaurant, but doesn’t feel like a chain restaurant. The city grits are delicious. The portions are huge, but not the prices. Highly recommend.

We were nervous because of some negative reviews but man, I’m glad we tried it! We were in and out, great service, and the food was perfection! Large portions, and my omelet was very well seasoned. My husband ordered French toast and he couldn’t believe the portion for the price! My daughter had grits and bacon and her grits were creamy without being greasy. We will definitely be back!

Everything was good. I ordered the Oscar Benedict for some reason it wasn’t good to me but sometimes your tastebuds can be a little off. The service was fantastic smiling and friendly staff everywhere. The replaced my dish for me and took the other of my bill. I had told them it was me, so that was nice. Bellini’s were great.

I was skeptical when my fiancé’s aunt said Another Broken Egg was one of the best places to get breakfast around Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We visited one in Atlanta and were disappointed in the lack of flavor and easy at-home replication of the dishes we got. Based on our stellar experience at this location, I’m wondering if ABEC is a hit-or-miss chain. We came in for breakfast on our way to the beach for the afternoon and sat at the bar because the small dining room was packed. Our server came and greeted us promptly, but we had to wait and remind him of things we needed. He was not only working the bar, he also had to work the surrounding dining area. Clearly they were understaffed that day! We started with the beignets and a cup of coffee while we decided on our main courses. The beignets were good, but more doughy than traditional beignets that you’d get in New Orleans. The honey marmalade perfectly complimented them, too, without being too sweet. I ended up with the Southwest Scramble and really liked it. The potatoes were still the same sad, pre-made potatoes I had at the Atlanta location. Next time I’m going to upgrade to something else. The skillet itself was really good, though. Flavorful and tasted like they knew how to season food in this kitchen. And, it was fun making some breakfast tacos! Overall it was a huge dish and I didn’t finish it all. J had the Hey Lucy! and also enjoyed his. Basically when the food hit the table, we stopped talking because we were so focused on our food. And we sent everything back almost, if not completely, empty. I may have to reconsider the locations in Atlanta and give it another shot. Overall, it’s very corporate and regulated like other major chains, but the food was good. Maybe this will fall into the«consistent, comfort food» category.

My family and a few friends stopped here on our way home from vacation. The wait for a party of 8 was 45+ minutes, which for a Saturday morning in Orange Beach was understandable, but the hostess looked at our group as if we had just kicked her dog. Her one job is to be friendly and take names, but she was extremely rude and acted annoyed that our party was so large, even though we didn’t mind waiting. Our waitress was friendly, but not attentive. I asked for silverware 3 times before getting up to find some myself. I don’t remember her name, so going into extreme detail about her service would be irrelevant. I ordered the black bean«Benny», which comes with a poached egg on top — or at least, it’s supposed to. My egg, along with everyone else’s poached eggs were completely cooked through. It was baffling to me that the word«egg» is in the business name and ALL of our eggs were over cooked. The rest of the food was decent. The service was awful. Our experience at this location is a terrible representation of this restaurant at other locations that we’ve been to(In Dallas and Houston).

Cherish a good breakfast spot and enjoy it while the Snowbirds aren’t here. Another Broken Egg is another success in my book. There able to capture the big three. GREATSERVICE GREATPRICES REALLYGOODFOOD There are about a billion ways to make Huevos Rancheros, and albeit it was different from what I expected, my Huevos Rancheros was very good. Have them put chorizo on it and it amps it up. Service was stellar, no complaints there. I was getting coffee so fast I’m going to have the jitters all day. Orange Beach over the years has suffered from that same olé fried green tomato restaurant. Not that they’re bad, but change is necessary and Another Broken Egg is a good change.
