Great customer service and best day to go is Wednesday’s. I always buy meat here. They are quicker than Cardenas and Food4less checkout stands.

Beware of the«Digital Deals». Staters thinks we all have the time to go online prior to shipping at the grocery store. Yet another way to dupe the customer!!!

I come here only when I need to grab one or two things, Im usally in and out very quickly because most items are always overpriced. However the place is always clean and customer service associates are friendly. Also everything is easy to find.

Stopping for an errand in Ontario on an early morning(for me) Friday escape from L.A., a Stater Bros. supermarket beckoned on Philadelphia Street and Mountain Avenue close to the Rte 60 exit/onramp. Subsequently, a repast would be in order. Although options such as Tommy’s, In-N-Out and others too gauche to name occupy that intersection, Stater’s was a must-try because I have long taken a shine to its weekly print/on-line ads and local media spots, and understand that if the company chooses not to locate in the Metro area, it must have some good reasons. Heading directly to the service deli, the hot-food counter contained two of the honkin’est-ever pieces of fried chicken that looked too big to be anything but breasts. Anticipating my inquiry, the counter lady volunteered that they were thighs. Adjacent were a couple of ample, but decidedly smaller, breasts. At an hour considerably before lunch, I wondered whether those pieces were from the first batch of the day, or holdovers from the day before, but they looked enticing either way. My passenger and I only wanted one piece apiece and planned to order that only, and that’s when the counter lady initiated a unique marketplace negotiation. She essentially asked what it would take to put us into a two-piece combination that included two sides of our choice for just a few cents more than the chicken alone. It was an offer we couldn’t refuse. The coleslaw side, spooned from a surprisingly small ceramic serving plate, was the star, distinguished by a balanced, non-watery mayonnaise dressing. Side #2 was a pedestrian potato salad with egg, probably processed by Reser’s or its ilk. It was a treat to be helped by a neighborly staffer who wanted us to get the most cluck for our buck. No outside dining area, so we destroyed the hot, fresh-tasting thigh and breast and most of the sides inside the car in the parking lot, then sped ahead to the I-10 Desert Cities. Stater Bros. is a chain that rewards many landlocked Southern Californians, and the fortunate food shoppers of Orange and San Diego counties.

After 15 yrs of being a loyal customer, I will never go back to a Stater Bros and especially not this one. Why, because the manager Brett Bullard who thinks he is God. The steaks were on sale and they were out. Not a big deal, I asked for a rain check. I wanted to host a family bar b que for a returning vet. I was told I can have a rain check for no more than 5 steaks. I told Brett that 5 steaks wouldn’t even feed my immediate family. He said OK, I’ll give you 7 as if steaks are more valuable than gold or something. This Brett guy seriously has a complex problem. I wasn’t asking for a discount, I was asking for when the steaks come in to have the butcher place a larger order than normal so there would be plenty of steaks. He said, No. My average monthly grocery bill is $ 1200. Ive been a Stater Bros customer for 15 yrs. That all ends now. Having a loyal customer ask for first time request be shot down by an overly aggressive, prejudicial manager makes me write this review. Keep you attitude and steaks Brett and thanks for understanding the desire to honor a vet. Of course, you being the way you are, you probably think you deserve your rights that other people have fought for without any gratitude.

Horrible! Some rude woman named Jen was the cashier and she took my grandmother’s 20 dollar bill for a 9 dollar purchase and we got a few cents back. And my grandma said«oh i think i gave ya a 20 $» and the lady said«no. You gave me a 10» and i distinctly remember seeing her hand her the 20! I saw it. JEN needs to get her eyes checked. And when i asked«um are you sure i think i saw – » and she cut me off and said«no, i tell people what cash they gave me!» She was sooo rude and defensive about it i have never felt so offended and bad for my grandma. And ive NEVER had to write a review about a grocery store but this blew my mind. And no one helped us. I work in retail so when ppl get mad i see it and i dont treat cashiers rude when something goes wrong, but they were so rude and unhelpful. Do not waste your money here. Trust me. Their old cashiers need to focus more and check their vision.

An ok store. Small but it has been here a long time. Easy in and out. Today it wasn’t to crowded so I had no problem getting what I needed.

This was my first time it this Stater Brother… I’ve been to many Stater Brother stores and have been very happy with all of them until I moved out to the Inland empire … But this morning, at 6:10 am Mother’s day… I really didn’t feel like driving to Shaffer or Chino hills to get the few ideas I needed. I refused to go the Riverside one again… there usually out of health choice ideas(kraft Fat Free Cheese, No salt Wheat thins. ect) But regarding this one… The produce was awful… it was not well stocked at all… the produce guys excuse was because, the(shaffer and chino hills) other 2 stores have 3 guys working the area and they are larger stores. I disagree… the San Diamas and Glendora are smaller older stores and I’ve shopped there very early in the morning because I’ve lived in those communities. It’s shame, that because of the demographics of that this store and Riverside locations the stores are not cared for like the other locations. It’s not fair to the community… shame on you STATERBROTHERS

Have to give this place a 5 star, based upon my experience today. Very clean, not overly crowded, and had plenty of registers open, even though store wasn’t packed. Went thru the checkout line very quick, and was pleasantly surprised by the smile and attitude of the cashier. Def a good shopping experience.

I head here alot for anything from produce to meat. It’s close. Quick to get in and out of. The real reason I’m writing this review is for the store manager Brett. He’s great with his customers and always displays an upbeat personality. He’s even up for a quick verse of exchange about the Dodgers. If you come across him you’ll know what I’m talking about. Look let’s be real customer service is an important factor in your shopping. Or at least it should be. It can create a returning customer or an unhappy blogger.

Wow. The worst stater brothers ever. The cashiers are rude and the customer service sucks. Let me just say why this is so horrible! I was greeted in Spanish. This is America. We except all languages and cultures but I’m sorry… I’m white. Not Hispanic so why would you greet me in Spanish?! And this is America! We don’t do that here especially in a stater brothers of all places! Soooooo wrong!

I went a couple of hours to this store ago and formed in line to buy some cigarettes and the cashier asked me for my id as the protocol and showed him my valid passport of Mexico to her and ignored saying anything about Mexico and my opinion that’s racism!

My family normally shops at Ralph’s but because our laundry room is being remodeled, I have shipped at this Staters a few times while using the laundry mat close by. I used this store 3 times this past weekend and each time the service was horrible. The first visit, the cashier was so rude and unfriendly. The second visit, the lines were so long. My last visit on Monday started out fine until I went to pay for my groceries. There was one cashier and she left to do a price check for a customer. I didn’t push my cart all the way into the lane b/c I knew the customer getting the price check was going to have to squeeze back through when they came back from checking the price. Well, the cashier saw me and rudely told me I could load my groceries on the belt. Whatever, so I loaded my groceries. Now I am standing there with my groceries loaded, a line is forming behind me and the cashier, the customer with the price check and now a manager and a bagger are literally standing 5 feet away still looking at a price tag and not any of them acknowledge all the customers waiting to pay. A customer behind me loudly made a remark about why I was told to load my groceries if no one was going to help me. When the cashier finally came back she didn’t apologize for making us wait for so long and was very standoffish. Worst service! I expect lines and having to wait but am appalled at the service I have received at this location.

As far as grocery stores go(I used to work for one) they are nice stores. When we went today we bought beef ribs and tried to get the soda deal for the week. The ribs were lame. Hardly any meat on them, I will think twice about buying them again. The staff are friendly and helpful though, so it makes it work.

I like this Stater Bros location. It seems larger than the one on Philadelphia and Mountain Ave. and has a better selection. The store is always clean and I especially like that the bucher will actually talk to me about meat cuts, etc. The staff is pretty knowledgable about where the products are, even the obscure little things. I shop here for my everyday items because it is less expensive than Albertson’s. They open at 7AM but I’m such an early riser that I wish they would open at 6AM.

Typical grocery store. I usually shop the sales ads or for stuffI have coupons for. Usually well stocked and clean. Employees are chill with the exception of a certain female cashier who denied my coupons. I didn’t wanna fight or call up management but dumb bitch acted like it was coming outta her pocket. Geeze it’s not like I’m some crazy extreme coupon lady.
