Stopped in for lunch — turkey burger, meh and my friends chicken salad sandwich was notable only for the absence of chicken. Convenient but won’t be back.

Felt very profoundly unwelcome here. There were only a few other patrons but the staff seemed immensely put out at our being there. We were given a menu and my fiancé asked for a drink list. «Oh well we have so many…» was our servers reply. What the hell does that even mean? Too many drinks? Too many lists? Basically every bar I’ve ever been to has a drink list of some kind. Off to a weird start but then it just got absurd. I ordered a beer and my fiancé ordered a Moscow mule. «We don’t have the cups m’dear.» was the curt and condescension laden reply.(When I was at nightowl a few weeks ago and received a horse feather in a Tom Collins glass. I said thank you and paid, as usually happens when one orders a cocktail.) Our illustrious server doubled down this time saying that they did indeed have ginger beer, lime and vodka(all the constituent parts of the cocktail that was ordered) but they still don’t serve them because they don’t have the right cups. By this point I think it’s clear that nobody wanted to be there. Not us. Not our dismayed bartender. Not even a church mouse. Since my fiancé was denied, in no uncertain terms, the first drink she ordered, the server brought her a conciliatory cocktail of his choosing. I was quite surprised to find a white moscato/peach schnapps/rancid tar/scraped-off-the-back-of-an-LA-schoolbus mixed drink on the bill considering no one at my table ordered it. Bravo.

I never… EVER give out 1 star reviews because I try to be as absolutely fair as possible, however, I left this establishment in tears because the sever(who I think was the owner) treated me horribly. I went for happy hour on a Saturday and was excited to be there because it’s walking distance from my apartment. I sat down and asked for a drink menu and the owner laughed and said… «We don’t have drink menus.» I then asked for a Moscow mule thinking that most bars would have at least the ingredients. He again laughed and said«we don’t serve those. We don’t have the cups and my staff would kill me if I brought those mugs in.» I was kind of shocked considering he made me feel a little stupid for asking for a drink. He then went on to say«plus, that is a homey drink. We don’t do that». Well ok. Thanks for the heads up. He then proceeded to make me a house drink which was very nice and considerate and I thought was a gesture of apology. However I didn’t order this drink and he still charged me for it. That’s some next level sale tactics. I’ll be skipping this establishment forever to go to better bars and restaurants that know how to treat customers.

Go and meet Scott, he is part owner and he is fabulous! He knows how to take care of people. Yes, it’s a bar but it so much more then that. I posted all sorts of pictures. We had dumplings, egg rolls, Thai chicken pizza, an International burger with a fried egg, a BBQ burger with a fried egg, two peach concoctions of Scott’s creation, one BBC(banana, Baileys’ and coconut) and one Angry Orchard.(See picture) We were there about 6pm on a Saturday and it really should have been busier. The service was wonderful. The food was great. I took half a burger and most of a pizza home because we were stuffed. Thank goodness I live within crawling distance. I could see this becoming a regular haunt for me and my weekend workers of downtown! I wish them much success!

My sidekick and friend Snow suggested coming here, and having been before when it was Bishop’s I looked forward to it… When we arrived it was fairly empty, which I’m okay with… Scott was the bartender/waiter/part owner/mixing wizard… We decided to start with pot-stickers which I loved and a couple egg rolls which were alright… Snow decided to indulge her inner boozehound and ordered a couple drinks, which she proclaimed to be not only acceptable but tasty and satisfying… I ordered the bbq burger with cheese and a fried egg which Scott informed me they could make any way I want… Being the egg slut I am I had tears of joy, and this was yet another reason I will be coming here again… The onion rings were also very good that I got… Prices are pretty reasonable compared to other downtown joints… I salute Scott and his awesomeness and congratulate them on a job well done…

Cleanliness 4 Service 3 Food 5 Likelihood 5 1 – 5(5 Best!) 4.3 This was my second visit back. Such great, made from scratch food. I love it! The owners are integral, good, and hard working. This new venue is clean, nice, and easy to find street parking. Support a local business, eat good food, and have a great drink.

This is an amazing new bar in downtown Omaha. The bartender suggested a blueberry stoli vodka and lemonade and it was delicious! It has a very classy feel with friendly service. The food came out great and tasted good. I highly recommend the flatbreads. I will definitely be back to this bar!
