Three stars because the service was friendly. Otherwise, the place was honestly a bit sad. My daughter and I stopped in to buy some parts as she wanted to build a small ‘robot’, so what better place to look for small motors, connectors, etc. I know a lot of them are going out of business, and I can see why as this place seemed bare. I checked inventory online, and this place had the small motor we needed in stock, but it was the last one. Going through the parts drawers looking at what else they had, and they were mostly empty. Otherwise they had your basic electronics covered, from some speakers, to phone accessories(grabbed an iPod charger while we were there as well). The young guy running the store was a bright spot however. Friendly, helpful and seemed to actually like his job. It’s too bad Radio Shacks have gone downhill and have lost popularity. Not sure I would be back, unless I really needed something specific and couldn’t wait to order it online.

the kid working the counter was friendly enough, but the surge protector I bought had a lower sticker on it that evidently wasn’t true… when he told me this, I wasn’t thrilled but needed the item so I bought it… Having worked in retail most of my life, I know that if you have something ticketed at a lower price, that’s what you have to sell it for… But I suppose this is to be expected at a place like RS

If you see a red sign inside of the mall, that says«Electronics Store» it’s Radio Shack, Radio Shack… It’s a little old place where dweebs can get together… Anyways, I digress. This location used to be filled with everything a tinkerer would need. Transistors, resistors, wire, speakers, etc… These days The ‘Shack likes to be known for its’ «store within a store» policy. Mobile phones and RCA branded products. In the hotel industry I come here for one type of item… Adapters. Most recently it was for a HDMI to VGA, but instead got HDMI to RCA. Just what I needed without any BS. In and out and it worked fine.
