First experience here and it was a great one! It’s easy to order and understand the menu, the staff was nice and the pizza was awesome! My friend and I both built our own and they were great! We will definitely be returning!

Its ok another one of those cases where I would give it another half star if I could. Its not bad its just not anything that stands out. Its about the crust with pizza and this one doesn’t stand out. I think this concept is good and potentially could be so much better.

What a pleasant surprise. I went to Lunch with a couple of colleagues who said we were going to Pie 5. I said I wasn’t to keen on having a quiche for lunch. To my surprise it was a fast food pizza place whose specialty is personal pan pizzas. My Pizza and soda was just a tad under $ 10.00. You can order one of their specialty pizzas or build your own with their many ingredients. I got the«Pie 5» which was a meat lovers pizza but changed it up with spicy tomato sauce. It was more than enough and very tasty. While I won’t make Pie 5 a habit I will absolutely make my way back from time to time to try other menu items. My kids would love this place. In my opinion it is worth giving it a try.

Interesting concept and a refreshing change if looking for something quick. I don’t consider myself a pizza snob but this pizza just didn’t do it for me. I’d go again in a pinch.

Had the opportunity to try this place for the first time with a friend after work. I read that it was«like Subway for pizza» and I love the concept. With friends or family(especially kids), no one can ever agree on toppings so this way everyone can get what they want on an individual pizza and be happy. The first thing I noticed upon entering was how loud it was. There weren’t many customers yet but the high ceiling and concrete flooring really amplified the rock radio. I found myself leaning forward to hear and asking«what? what?» repeatedly. I ordered a thin crust with marinara sauce and pepperoni, Italian sausage, garlic, mushroom, peppers, and red onions as toppings. Added sun dried tomatoes as an afterthought and so glad I did because they really added to it! I was a little disappointed with the skimpy layer of sauce and cheese but the toppings made up for it. Overall, my pizza was good and just the right size. My friend, on the other hand, got the thin crust with an even thinner layer of sauce. Unfortunately, she can’t have cheese but for as much as they put on mine, it probably wouldn’t have mattered. She didn’t realize you could have unlimited toppings at no extra charge so she conservatively selected just pepperoni, mushrooms, and artichoke. With no cheese and not many toppings, her pizza came out looking like an oversized cracker with sad little bits on it. Needless to say, she was disappointed. I also tried the garden salad which was good but not as good as I make them at home. The pizza crust itself was better than frozen box pizza but definately not on the same level as thin crust at a place like Noli’s or Zio’s. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it’s a nice inexpensive fast food option conveniently located in my neighborhood so I will definately be back. Next time, I would probably just get the $ 6.99 pizza, skip the salad and sit outside.

I enjoyed my visit to Pie Five. Like others have noted, it’s set up much like Chipotle or Subway, but for personal pizzas. After you walk in and get in line, you place your order, choosing your preferred type of crust, sauce, cheese and other toppings. You can play it safe and order pep and sausage, or go bonkers and pile it high with so many flavors it’ll be a palate wrecker(I opted to play it safe because I like my food to taste good). The atmosphere is clean and modern. The staff was nice and my order was served up fast and efficient. I’m in no rush to hurry back, but Pie Five is good option for a meal for around $ 10.

The subway of pizza. The ingredients are fresh but the taste is not extraordinary. The farmers market pizza is pilled high with vegetables. The wait is minimal for fresh pizza but most of my vegetables could be a bit more cooked. No options for high end ingredients like better mozzarella cheese. 2nd visit: I ordered buffalo chicken pizza and it was delicious. Added an extra star to my rating.

Very cool concept. My friend described it as «Like Subway, but with pizza.» The ingredients were very good and the pizza came out quickly and hot. Fresh brewed tea was available, too– which was nice. I think my favorite part was that I could have quality pizza and a drink for under $ 10. If they sold beer on tap, I think they’d be unstoppable!

This place is awesome. Great food all around! Tons of toppings to pick from and the best part is not having to find a middle ground for the toppings your group may want since it’s all individual pizzas! Friendly, helping staff here as well! GLUTENFREE options too!

Pizza is just ok. Not nearly as good as Maddio’s. I tried the High Five on artisan thin crust. No flavor to the crust but thin & crispy. Sauce was mediocre and the toppings all looked fresh out of a freezer bag. Mediocre pizza and no beer. I’ll go somewhere else next time.

This was the perfect pizza place for my boyfriend and I. We both prefer student pizza crusts. Here, wee were able to build our own with favorite crusts.

Average, at best. Individual pizzas as a business model has some merit, but the ingredients are not so hot. The sauce is nothing to write home about. Just not a whole lot of flavor. The salad was fairly tasty but so small as if it was a joke. The tea was actually the highlight of the meal. Incredibly noisy. Cooked quickly. Big crowd tonight. Sampling crowd.

Very good pizza! I had the Pie Five which is basically an all meat pizza. Ingredients were all very fresh, dough was very good. Price is very affordable for what you get $ 9.99 for a «Bundle» which gets you a pizza, salad or dessert and a drink. Also no matter what you get on your pizza it’s the same price. Will definitely go again.

The gluten free crust($ 2 extra) is really good, the ingredients seem fresh, and the staff are friendly.

Very cool concept, build your pizza. Pick your crust, pick your sauce, pick your ingredients. They baked it quick, add a salad or dessert if you desire. I opted for their Five Star creation, would have picked those ingredients anyway! It was great, loved the flavor of the sauce, Tuscan marinara. Very tasty pizza, all for $ 7. Salad is additional. Signed up for their rewards program, buy ten pies, get a free one. I love getting free food, ha! As someone who logs everything he eats, loved the fact that their website has nutritional information for their menu. Five Star thin crust weighs in at 720 calories. Will be back!

I love this. And it’s not even open yet! They did a «soft opening»(I assume to train their staff) where they actually were giving away free meals for two days(and accepting donations to a charity), so I went to that with some coworkers. The short version of my review is that this is essentially what this place is: The Subway of personal pizzas. Everyone gets exactly what they want on their own pizza for the same price regardless of how many toppings you get. And it is delicious and about the right amount of food for a lunch. Here’s the long version: When you get in line, you’re instantly reminded of Subway. There’s a glass thing separating you from the food, the«pizza artist»(?) whips out your choice of blank crust, and you tell them everything you want on it. As far as I could tell, there was no limit to how many toppings you could choose, and every pizza is only $ 6.99. I don’t know how they do it. I got the buffalo chicken«specialty» pizza and added green olives to it, and it was still $ 6.99, and it was delicious. They also had little salads you could get, and you had the option of getting them in an edible«pizza bowl» which is an awesome idea. My coworker got that and said it tasted like a cracker or something(I assume it was salted pizza dough). Needless to say, I will be coming here many more times in the future and am very excited it’s here. You’ll also want to join their«Circle Of Crust» on their website so you can earn points toward free pizzas. You also get a free pizza on your birthday and half-birthday with this program! Can’t recommend it highly enough. If I was forced to come up with a complaint, I’d simply state that I like beer with my pizza, and they didn’t appear to have any alcohol selections. Which is fine, obviously, but that would be my only suggestion!

My friend invited me to join her for the soft«kitchen training» opening here. I was prepared to cut this place slack for all the«new restaurant» kinks but there was no need. They threw these employees into the deep end with this soft opening and they knocked it out of the park. When you walk in the restaurant, you get in line to order. The ordering set up is similar to Subway or Chipotle. On our particular visit, they had scheduled the opening day«reservations» so that the line was flooded. When we got in line there were probably 20 people in front of us(obviously the line would probably not be this long on a typical day). We waited about 25 minutes from the time we got in line until the time we sat down at the table, which means that they were moving people through the line at a rate of about one person a minute. Considering all the food is made-to-order, there are multiple ordering stations, and this was their first day, this was outstanding. Additionally, everyone we encountered from start to finish was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The service was flawless. All the pizzas are personal sized(for $ 6.99) and you can pick one of their pizzas or make your own. At the first stop you order your pizza and the crust you want(there are four options: artisan thin, whole grain thin, classic pan, and gluten free). an employee assembles it and passes it on to the next person. During the next step, they add any additional toppings and then show it to you for approval before it goes into the pizza oven to bake. My friend and I decided to order the BBQ Chicken with the classic pan crust and the Tuscan Chicken with the artisan thin crust and share them. You then go to the next stage where you can make your meal a combo by adding a salad or a dessert and a drink for an additional $ 3. There are three side salads to choose from: Italian, Caesar, and garden, and they are all served in a pizza crust bowl. You can also get a salad as an entrée if you aren’t feeling the pizza. They assemble the salad in front of you and hand toss it. I decided to add an Italian side salad and my friend got a turtle brownie. The last stop is adding the final touches to your pizza(which is waiting for you when you get there). The employee recommended a cilantro topping on the BBQ Chicken and their«magic seasoning» on both pizzas. We then moved to the end and paid for our meals. I normally opt for water at restaurants but I can’t turn down a good flavored iced tea, and they had a peach ginger option. My friend and I really enjoyed both pizzas, but we both agreed that the BBQ chicken was our favorite. I also enjoyed the side salad. I didn’t try the pizza bowl, but it was a cute touch, and the salad was really flavorful. The peach ginger tea was also great. I tried a bite of my friend’s brownie and it was good, but nothing great. This restaurant is a great addition to the area. Omaha doesn’t have anything like this where you can get a very fast, high quality, customizable pizza at a great price. I would definitely go here again. If they are this good on a high-pressured training day, I can only imagine how good they will be when they actually open(which is on Friday, March 6th, by the way). The only thing I didn’t enjoy: they tell you to have a «Pie Five day» after you check out — I loathe cheesy stuff like this at restaurants and find it super awkward.
