So I call Midwest Tire to see if they can change a cv boot or axle on my 2010 Prius & they advise me that they’d have to see it to make a judgement. That was the # 1 clue that I was dealing with DOLTS! So I make an appointment so they can look at the car in person & not use the NET to do the same thing! Clue # 2 DOLTS! Anyway I get there @ the appointed time & then wait an hour for them to put it on a lift! They could have done the same view just by jacking the car & pulling a wheel but NO! Anyway after inspection I’m advised that THEY THINK that they can do the job @ a very reasonable cost of about $ 100.00 labor! GREAT! [Actually I saw a video of a guy doing this & it took him 9:00 mins. & there were NO edits!!!] BUT it seems that they can’t find the part @ their wholesale supplier but can only get it from the dealer which they say will cost $ 550.00. I called the dealer & they quoted me $ 350.00 BTW! I told them I could get it online for $ 66.00 & they could charge me their GREED Factor mark-​up but they refused giving me some BS about insurance! Right, I was born yesterday!
Bottom line! Just more CROOKS!

Stopped in again after a good first experience. I needed a new battery this time & I stopped in around 8am. They were swamped and asked if I was able to leave the car there for the day but told them I had to drive away with it.
Well… the guy went to go see if there was a way they could squeeze me in real quick. He comes back later telling me he’ll have me out of there in about 30 mins.
10/​10, would happily give them money again.

I purchased a car in the fall and noted that the tires were nearly new. I did not realize, however, that they were basically summer tires and my car wouldn’t be able to move on the slightest slope when it snowed. I was not very excited to replace my new-​ish tires, but had to or my car would be useless in the upcoming storm.
I went to Midwest Tire after hearing good things from a friend. The salesman gave me a couple options and I chose a set of four new all-​weather tires.
As I was waiting for them to be put on, the salesman came back to me and said that they noticed how new my existing tires were. Since the tread was good, he said I would be fine replacing only my front two AND they would give me a credit for the ones they took off. Usually, putting new tires only on the front isn’t a good idea because it reduces stability in the back. But, he said, since my back tires were so new, I should be fine. And if it seemed like I was sliding around in the back, I could always come back and get a couple more. I appreciated the honesty and it saved me a bunch of money.
One thing I liked about this place is their upfront pricing. They give you a price per tire that includes all the fees and installation. If you go to the website for somewhere like Tiresplus you see a per tire price which looks good… but then they tack on installation fees, dump fees and whatever else they can squeeze out of you. Being upfront about pricing is valuable to me.
If I decide I want two more new tires for the back of my car, I will definitely be back to Midwest Tire.

I only went here for a simple fix on a sheared wheel stud, but I love that they quoted me $ 45 over the phone and it ended up just under $ 30. Also when I asked if my tires needed replacing, I expected a salesman to attack with their most expensive options, but no, they actually told me I have at least a year left on them. So nice to see a locally-​owned company like this simply providing great service. I’ll go back here whenever I need work done.

I was referred to Midwest Tire by three separate people.
After a bit of tire research online and a couple of phone calls, it was a toss up between Midwest Tire and Costco (because I heart Costco). Stopped in at the Costco Tire Center to ask a couple of questions — BIG mistake. The guy was a complete jerk and unwilling to explain anything without being condescending (girls, you know what I’m talking about). Anyhow, stopped off at Midwest Tires and the guys were great. Selected, purchased and installed my tires in an hour. Especially impressive since it was 4 p.m. on a Friday. While in the waiting room, started chattin’ it up with a couple of their long-​standing (women) customers who apparently take their cars in for EVERYTHING, not just tires.
I highly recommend. My car rides like a dream on these tires. They have different price points (for those of us on a budget) and prices were more than competitive (comparable tires to what I bought were $ 100 more at Sears, $ 175 more at Costco). Great customer service.
When I replace tires on my other car, it’ll be at Midwest Tire.

Had a nail in my tire, took it in the same day, fixed within an hour, $ 19, great service!
