Our parish was (seemingly) one of the last in the area to celebrate First Communion. That, coupled with the fact that I am a bit of a last minute shopper, had me worried that the gifts would be «picked over» the Friday before my son’s First Communion. I couldn’t believe my eyes when there were plenty of First Communion type gift items; it was as if I was the only one looking for a First Communion gift in the entire Omaha area. All of the typical gifts were in stock, minus a few empty prayer card slots. I was able to find everything I wanted, and then some! Gloria Deo offers quality, Catholic items at reasonable cost. They also offer free gift wrapping, which is a beautiful white/silver paper with a pretty purple ribbon. Wrapping my son’s gifts was one less thing to worry about!

I feel it is necessary to update my review for Gloria Deo due to the fact that the owner contacted me shortly after my previous review was posted. He was very apologetic and offered to refund the full cost of the item I was trying to return along with a $ 25 gift card. He also assured me that they pride themselves on customer service and plans to review guest relations policies with all of their staff. He even stated «I have put your Unilocal review at the top of our agenda for our next manager’s meeting.»
I was very impressed with this response!
