I was extremely impressed with my 4 course prime rib meal special for $ 29.99. my table was ready for me when I got there for my reservation on the prime rib special– every course was well made and completely delicious. the staff was very friendly and welcoming to this first time guest and little things like remembering my name when I left and being checked in often while I dined was extremely nice. Flemings is a truly lovely place to dine– I am a sucker for a wood paneled room with white tablecloths and napkins and such. I even loved when I was asked if I wanted a black napkin instead. maybe next time just to be a rebel i’ll say yes. I liked all my courses — including the bread on the table with the flavored butters. they are very informative of what things are at Flemings which was nice. I loved the brie butter but the other spicier chardonnay one was equally as delicious. their bread was wonderful.(bread is important to me) I had the house Flemings salad which was a perfect balance and done very well. my meal went at a great pace not too fast or slow, the prime rib came with its three sauces and the included side of Flemings potatoes on steaming hot plates. let me side comment. I love potatoes. all potatoes. the Flemings potatoes were truly cheesy saucy bubbly tasty deliciousness. get them. the jalapenos don’t detract or add a lot of heat. they add delicious flavor. kudos on the Flemings potatoes chefs. I LOVED them. back to the prime rib. I’ve never been a huge prime rib fan although I did go through a phase back in my teens where it was all I would order. then I discovered I like filet mignons and if they are wrapped in bacon i’m all the happier. plus filets give more stomach space for the things I really love at a steakhouse, bread potatoes and dessert and of course house salad. I need my greens. Prime Rib though I was a little curious to try it after all these years, this was seriously tender very nicely seasoned perfectly medium that I asked — prime rib. I haven’t tried the other places to compare them too in this decade. but this was deliciously done and a great flavored piece of meat. to be honest I just sat and smelled it for a bit. there is something about roasted meat that just is the best thing ever especially done well. then I really realized why people love this dish. that all of the components is so deliciously AWESOME. the sauces — the au jus a horseradish cream and a horseradish mustard. I don’t care for mustard stuff but it was good which surprised me. I also thought I didn’t like horseradish but the horseradish cream proved me happily– wrong. it was superb! every bite was SOGOOD. with the sauces it was different bites each time. I had them pack up my leftover potatoes and they were prepared for dessert. my nice server had told me at the start that if I wanted a lava cake it takes 15 – 20 to bake fresh.(having made lava cakes at home he is correct on that) I instead wanted the walnut turtle pie. it was pure chocolate deliciousness and the walnuts — mm. and topped with house made caramel and Chantilly cream on the side– folks. I win in the dessert order. I love turtle anything. this was so incredible. in general I had a great experience here. i will continue to check out their specials so i can return soon. i didn’t hear the tv and i was close to the bar. so. that wasn’t an issue. in fact i had a baby next to me that i didn’t realize was there until it was carried out. so no crying baby or misbehaving child issues on my Flemings experience.

It was good filet mignon and the Mac and cheese is to die for. Overall I loved the ambience and service is amazing. It is definitely expensive but worth it.

My wife and I stopped in 2⁄13 at 7:45 for dinner. We were greeted at the door and had a table within five minutes. Saturday night in Omaha at that time is almost impossible… no one cooks at home anymore! I had the bone-in Rib-eye and my wife had the Filet, both were supposed to be cooked medium. The Rib-eye was perfect. Marbled as an excellent Rib-eye should be, melt in your mouth texture an it was cooked perfectly. The Filet, on the other hand was an issue. It was the 12 oz tenderloin special but there was nothing special about it. I have eaten a lot of beef, and this seemed more like a sirloin. In addition, it was a touch over rare, still purple on the inside. I explained to the waitress that we were disappointed with a $ 55 steak that should have been much better than it was. The manager immediately came over, apologized for both the cut of meat and how it was clearly under cooked. She comped my wife’s steak and even offered to prepare a new one for us. It was getting late and we didn’t want to wait, but she grabbed one off the grill and sent it home with us. I had a great steak salad for lunch the next day! If it wasn’t for the Manager taking care of us, I’m not sure we would have gone back. The fact she covered the cost of the steak wasn’t a big deal to us, it’s the fact that she truly cared about the quality and service we were given. That is getting tough to find anymore!

My fiancé and I went to Flemings for Valentine’s Day and it was AMAZING!!! Not only were our steaks cooked perfectly but our server Kyla was so attentive. It was a great atmosphere and delicious food. It didn’t feel like a holiday… things were great. They even gave us gift cards for our recent engagement. We definitely will be going back. Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day so special!

We decided to dine here for our wedding anniversary. Our anniversary was on Super Bowl Sunday, so the restaurant wasn’t very full. The décor was dark, with lots of rock, wood, & red accents; typical steakhouse restaurant ambience. Nice. Quiet. Cozy. But at these prices, I don’t expect to see televisions on the barroom wall, which was open to the restaurant. To be fair, we could not hear any sound coming from the tv’s. The«ipadish» device included as a menu«helper» was redundant. It did not include everything on the paper menu that I could see, and was too bright vs. the dim restaurant lighting. Bright enough to be uncomfortable to use. If the pad was meant to be helpful, the«pad» menu should include wine reviews, but other than a somewhat interactive screen, the«pad» device did not include information already on the menu. We began our meal with mussels. They were nothing I’d order again, but fairly priced and properly cooked. They tasted okay. To be fair, I’m a mussel connoisseur, so I’m a bit critical if they are not perfection. For dinner my companion ordered the special of the night, which consisted of; a glazed 4oz. beef filet; a crab cake; and 3 jumbo shrimp. The shrimp and crab cake were okay; nothing I’d repeat, but okay. But the filet!!! It was terrible. Flavorless, and tough. No filet should include gristle; but this one did. The bite I had(my love and I always share the best bits) was half gristle. For this price, the filet should have been fantastic. I very much doubt this was even a choice cut filet, let alone prime. I ordered king crab legs, and specifically asked the waitstaff if the legs were easy to take out of the shell(shell cut in half) so that I didn’t have to get my hands messy. When the crab arrived, it looked more like snow crab(smallish), was difficult to remove from the shell, and was over cooked. The shells were cut halfway through; but the joint meat was impossible to access with no additional silverware to remove the meat from the complicated digits. I was only given a steak knife and a serving fork to remove the crab meat. There was no way to remove the joint meat without getting really messy. As this restaurant chain should know, special cutlery has been invented to help the diner access shellfish meat from hard to reach joints. Moving on: Our entire $ 265.00 order included 4 cocktails, one glass of wine, the food mentioned above, and an acorn squash side dish I forgot to mention. I don’t mind spending this occasionally for a great meal, but this did not even come close. I guess if you have money to burn, and don’t care about the quality of food you eat, this would be a great place to dine. The staff was excellent, and the seating comfortable. But in Omaha, there are myriads of locally owned restaurants that will please you vastly more than this disappointing chain. All in all it was a great Anniversary. But that’s because I married the right partner.

Overall great food, good staff, pleasant experience. Food was amazing! Mouthwatering steaks and fine wine. It was a bit overcrowded(Saturday night at 6p). But we make our reservations online & when we arrived we were promptly seated. Very smooth evening with no issues. One thing I did take note to, was the lack of diversity within the staff. There was only a small number of women and no minorities. Other than that, it was a nice visit

I could certainly be considered a snob when it comes to red meat and fine dining. When it comes to my world, I’ve worked as a waiter at a kick ass country club and grew up in Oklahoma where good beef is a dime a dozen. We went to Fleming’s for NYE and as expected it was a complete nuthouse. Our server Alex was super attentive but did not hover and absolutely knew her stuff. I really enjoyed my Prixe Fixe menu with Gruyère cheese soup, Bone in Filet, roasted acorn squash and pumpkin crème brûlée cheesecake. As is the American way, it was entirely too much food, but it was so good I couldn’t stop eating. It was pricey, but you did truly get what you paid for. We were at our table for 2.5 hours and it felt like about an hour. Spend the money and enjoy yourself if you enjoy a good hunk of beef– you won’t regret it.

When it comes to Fleming’s, you get what you pay for. You leave your wallet at the restaurant, but walk away with a deliciously sated full stomach. We started off with french onion soup, which was ok, it’s hard to screw it up. It was cheesy deliciousness. Then we ordered two dry-aged prime ribeyes medium rare, & the mac & cheese & Fleming potatoes for sides to share. The ribeyes were delightful. One had the genuine kona coffee rub & one had the porcini mushroom rub. I would definitely recommend the porcini mushroom rub over the kona coffee rub. The steaks themselves were melt in your mouth tender. Holy wow, delicious. Best steak I’ve had in Omaha. The Flemings Potatoes were scalloped, and really meh. For their house specialty they weren’t really that great, I expected better. The mac & cheese was delicious though. The waitress was incredibly attentive and very helpful. Overall, for two glasses of wine, two soups, two ribeyes & two sides, our bill came to around $ 225. Twice as much as you’ll pay at other steakhouses in Omaha, but if delicious steak is what you’re after, this is the place to go.

It’s a rarity when a restaurant can offer you not only an impressive menu with high quality food but also an experience. From beginning to end, we were impressed. I made the reservation online in celebration of my husband’s 30th birthday and made a note it was such an occasion. As soon as we checked in they said Happy Birthday. When they seated us, there was a birthday card signed by the staff. Our server, Celeste, was wonderful. We are young, I didn’t know why she was offering me a black napkin(she explained it without making me feel like an idiot), the menu is full of very expensive things that are hard to choose. Inexperience is a bitch and can be stressful but Celeste was patient, informative and just a doll. She was knowledgeable about everything I asked about which gets major props in my book. I can never fully trust a waitress if she’s never sampled the food! Others have mentioned this and I’ll go ahead and agree, the place is dark and surprisingly loud. I expected more formal dress but people were pretty relaxed for the most part. It was a nice mix. I wore a dress, my husband nice jeans and we didn’t feel out of place at all. Ok, what we’ve all been waiting for. The food! I need a lot more steak in my life to be any kind of a connoisseur but I’m slowly building my pallette and Flemings does the job. I personally love a juicy, rare steak so I had the prime bone-in ribeye*, 20 oz.(52.95). At the urging of the waitress, I added the truffle-poached lobster with bearnaise sauce and caviar($ 12.50). For a side I had the famous Fleming’s potatoes, thinly sliced potatoes with cream, jalapeños and cheddar cheese. Wow! What a luxurious spread. The steak was absolutely huge. It was cooked to rare perfection and to be honest, I might of had them cook it a bit more, but I nearly always have to order rare at other steakhouses to get what I want. It was nicely seasoned, so juicy and the bits of fat just melted in my mouth. It’s a truly delicious steak. 20 oz. was complete overkill and I ended up taking half of it home(which is by no means an issue). I like the lobster and the sauce, and was pretty excited to give caviar a try. It was good but not sure it was necessary. Really depends on if you want to focus on the glorious steak. The potatoes were absolutely heavenly. You can’t even taste the heat of the jalapeño so I wouldn’t worry about that and the potatoes are so thin they look so delicate and scrumptious. One thing to note is that the sides are actually big enough for two so if you’d like to cut costs, one side would suffice. We didn’t know this and so sadly(not sadly) I had to take some of those home as well. I absolutely adored the potatoes. I can’t forget the complimentary bread, which was warm and delicious and came with the most delicious gorgonzola buttery cheesy spread and another spicy, garlicy spread. I even asked to take the leftovers with me! My husband had the wagyu New York strip, 14 oz.(55.95). He nicely saved one little piece for me at the end so I did get to try it and it too was really good and possibly better than my steak. It wasn’t seasoned as much as mine and I actually preferred the flavor and oiliness from the fatty steak. He also had the Caesar salad and truffle-parsley mashed potatoes. The salad looked delicious and had slivers of fresh parmesan and crumbles of prosciutto. I had salad envy for sure but kept my eye on the prize… my lobster. I did taste his potatoes, they were smooth, flavorful, but nothing beats the Fleming’s potato bake. I really wanted to give the lava cake a try but we were too full. As if this wasn’t enough, before we left the gave my husband a complimentary box of the most beautiful truffles for his birthday. Again, this was a wonderful experience. My husband and I have made it a goal to check off all the local awesome steak places on our list. I’d say this is a great way to start and a memorable way to celebrate my wonderful steak-loving husband. I hope we return. Our total bill was $ 174 for two, plus a $ 30+ tip, so it’s not something we can do often but it was a nice treat. To curb costs, if that’s a concern, next time I’d skip the lobster, skip the soft drinks, order one side and maybe even a smaller steak… or not… don’t mess with the steak, that’s really what this whole thing is about anyway. Also, if you’d like to get an idea of the prices before going, go to and click on locations. After finding your location, use that menu and you’ll get the prices. They aren’t listed on the front page of the site. Bön Appetit!

If you are looking for a nice quiet steakhouse, this is not the place to go. It is dark(literally) and comfortable. However we could not have a conversation without yelling. The noise level was amplified by the pitched ceilings. I expected the waiters to clean off the table between meals for $ 300+ per person. They fell short with service and food quality.

Best flatbread I’ve had in quite some time! So crisp and decadent. We were hesitant to try a chain steakhouse but this is really a great one! The wine selection is awesome, fantastic happy hour if you’re in the mood for small plates and unique cocktails, and great service! Something to fit any occasion or budget. My only suggestion would be to add more local beers to the menu but we were impressed and will definitely be back!

Let me preface this with the fact that I am not one to spend these sort of prices on a meal. I’d prefer to make my own steak at home. But we had a gift card to Outback which we discovered we could use here as well, so it was either 2 – 3 Outback meals, or try this place once. The atmosphere is amazing. Very dark, rich wood and leather feel. Loved it. The wine menu being on a tablet PC was sort of strange, but I suppose modern and convenient. We started with the crab cake appetizer, which was delicious, if a little small for two people to share. And I’m not usually one to dip crab cakes in sauce, but whatever sauce came out with these was amazing. We polished off our appetizer and sat for a moment or two. Before long, the man I assume was the manager walked over to us and complimented us on our appetizer choice, and then let us know it would be a couple minutes on our steaks. I’m very laid-back, so this was fine by me, but I suppose with these prices comes better service. The manager proceeded to offer us free salads(something around a $ 15-value for two), so we took advantage. I got the caesar and my wife got the house. Both were very good, and mine came with dried prosciutto bits, which were quite tasty. Finally, to our steaks. As I said, I’m not generally one to go to such an expensive place, but I have to admit these were the best steaks I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We both got the main filet, and they melted in your mouth. I got the bearnaise sauce, and was struggling because the steak by itself was amazing, but the sauce was also delicious. I went every-other-bite. We also got the Fleming’s potatoes, which were very good, but so rich and heavy. We had to take them home. Overall, it was a very good experience. But at almost $ 150 for the two of us, including tip, this won’t be a place we go very often. It was very good, but $ 150 is pretty steep.

There’s a strange part of me that doesn’t want to give Fleming’s the cherished 5-star ranking, what with it being a chain restaurant and all, not to mention my favorite 5-star steak in Omaha being the whiskey ribeye over at the Drover. But alas, it must be done, for I haven’t a single complaint about our decadent experience here tonight. This was one of the best end-to-end meals I’ve enjoyed since this Jersey boy made a home-away-from-home here in Nebraska. These friendly Midwesterners sure do know how to cook some cattle. Fleming’s is set in an area that makes you automatically want to hate it – right in a crowded parking lot of a non-descript suburban shopping mall. But upon entry you are greeted with the typical high-end steakhouse décor of dark wood, high ceilings, leather banquettes, and super-low lighting. If it weren’t for the open kitchen and the persistent aroma of broiled beef wafting through the room, you could almost smell the piles of money they are minting in the background. As I often say, when you are charging this amount of money for food and drink, flawless execution at every touchpoint is no longer an opportunity to surprise and delight the customer — it is now a contractual obligation that the customer expects you to fulfill. Fleming’s more than met its obligations from start to finish. Round 1 — Wine & Drinks. My Manhattan was… perfect. That is, Knob Creek bourbon, Carpano Antica vermouth, Luxardo cherries perfect. The wine suggestion was also right on the money. That they decanted it and let it breathe, and then attentively monitored the table to ensure our glasses were never empty, was a sign that the service was going to be very good tonight. Round 2 — Appetizers of barbecued shrimp skewers, baked brie, and crab cakes. Not a fan of the first two, but the crab cakes were excellent. I really enjoyed the sauce they were served with. My dining partners said both the shrimp and the brie were spot on as well. Round 3 — Salads. I had the Caesar. I’ve never had two Caesars that were exactly the same, but this one was standout. Despite having a cold and it being very hard to taste my food, the dressing had a serious spicy bite, presumably from fresh garlic being mixed in. I’m really not sure what went into the dressing but the flavor and the bite, although slightly unconventional, was absolutely awesome. Loved it. Round 4 — Steaks. I went with the Flemings special steak — a NY strip, crusted in crushed peppercorns and kosher salt, seared quickly in a hot iron press, and then broiled to that medium rare perfection I love so much. OMG. As an aspiring Vegan, I am so incredibly disappointed in myself for enjoying this steak so much, but it was really that good. I love that it was served immediately after being cooked, and presented on a scorching hot plate. This allows you to enjoy a steak that’s still pink and bloody on the inside, but that stays hot for the entire time it takes you to eat it. I won’t say it’s better than the whiskey ribeye at the Drover, but goddamn it came pretty close. Round 5 –(As if we needed a Round 5.) Chocolate molten cake. Ironically, I vowed never to eat another one of these after seeing Jon Favreau’s recent movie«Chef,» but it’s what my colleagues wanted. Well, thank goodness I listened to my colleagues because I could have eaten through a mile of this stuff. So, so good. And a perfect complement to all the previous dishes. One thing I really appreciated about tonight is that we were never rushed. We were allowed to finish our entire appetizer round before being asked for our dinner order. Granted, it was a Tuesday night and we were sat early. But I sense that this is the kind of place that really puts a lot of focus on the customer experience. And our waitress could not have been better — professional and attentive, but not overbearing. So for those of you who say I have an unfair bias against chain restaurants, stick this in your pipe and smoke it. Good is good, and fair is fair. This little outpost of Flemings earned its money tonight and I’d come back in a heartbeat.(That is, after one more rotation of the Drover next time I’m in town…)

Pricey but so worth it. I had the petite filet special oscar style(lump crab meat, asparagus and béarnaise sauce) — it came with small scallops. Soooooo good. My husband had the filet. We had the cheesy potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked. It was a Thursday night. No special occasion. Just wanted some meat and Fleming’s did not disappoint.

This place is pretty pricey, but very nice and very tasty. I had once of the best steaks ever here. It’s not the place in tow to go to get the official«Omaha Steak»(if there is such a thing), but it is the place to go if you want to impress others and have a GREAT meal.

A friends asked if we could meet here today for a hamburger for their Happy Hour. I said whatever, and arrived at 5 for a big surprise. Flemings has a great Happy Hour menu full of $ 5 appetizers topped of with their $ 5 Bacon and Cheese Prime Burger. This burger comes with your choice of a cup of cheese on the side(I chose Blue Cheese) and two strips of seasoned bacon. I thought the bacon was worthy of a side in itself. The Blue Cheese(even though orangish yellow) had a nice spicy flavor to it and was a great garnish. My burger(I ordered Medium Rare) was not as pink as I would have liked, but still moist enough to maintain its juices. Their Happy hour menu has 5 house wines or 5 cocktails for $ 5, but only one beer, and that a Samuel Adams. If I had a better choice of beers(Their regular menu is also woefully short on good beers) I would have given their Happy Hour Menu 5 stars.

Best Filet Mignon steak in town! Lobster & shrimp were delicious! fresh bread served with tomato butter & Cabernet goat cheese was even better! All tastes better with the love of your life by your side!!!
