A small Egg Nog ice cream with Snickerdoodle and Heath mix-ins set me back $ 5 and change. And their small is really dang small, ya’ll. I do love their icy/creamy ice cream, but these prices are simply outrageous to me. Not only that, there’s a tip jar out and, for me, I just don’t feel right not tipping. I don’t know why, but these young ladies whip this stuff up fast and friendly, and maybe they’re students, maybe they’re working nights and weekends — so I tip. To walk out with such a small amount of ice cream and to have doled out nearly $ 7(tax + tip) is just ridiculous. When I go to any Baskin Robbins(the one in Lincoln, mainly), a cup with two scoops(and they SHOVETWOMASSIVESCOOPSINTHERE) is less than $ 4. I, sadly, will never go to Cold Stone again. It just ain’t worth it.

I’ve always been a fan of the ice cream… well, pretty much any/all ice cream… Cold Stone has premium flavor and fresh ingredients. I love all the possibilities in creating my own unique treat, and I like that they have some pre-selected creations. I love this location(Midtown Crossing) the best in Omaha, and I go out of my way to visit this one. The atmosphere is very cool and unique, and I love the view, especially from the outside eating area. Today I purchased a birthday ice cream cake. I called ahead, and the employee was very helpful. She told me all the flavors they had available and offered to personalize the cake for me. She did a wonderful job. Oh yeah– when I walked in the store they greeted me with a friendly ‘hello’, and then to the people who walked in after me! Customer Service is NOT dead! :)(not at Cold Stone anyhow). Only downside: M-F during business hours you have to pay for street parking… BUT you can park for free in the garage adjacent!

The wait in line can be a little long but it’s worth it! I try a different«creation» every time I go and always leave happy.

Coldstone is by far one of the most amazing ice cream creation shops that i’ve been too. The only thing holding me back are the prices. Everything is soooo expensive and triumphs over Dairy Queen. In terms of uniqueness, this place has it all in terms of creating the ultimate DIY ice cream experience. In addition to several flavors of ice cream, toppings, and creations, this Coldstone is paired with Rocky Moutain Chocolate Factory which houses a million and one truffles, chocolate pieces, caramels, and my favorite, caramel apples. Not just any caramel apples, ones covered in different flavors for a different experience. My favorites are the tiger butter, apple pie, and oreo. Check in here for half off a scoop with topping creation.

Cold Stone definitely has some tasty ice cream but boy, are they expensive. My most recent visit was with my wife last week after dinner. The service and customer service is always top notch here. I give them high marks on that. Their ice cream cupcakes, the ones with the fudge at the bottom, are amazing, but they are about $ 12 for six little cupcakes. They are definitely a special occasion item. They also have caramel apples. Their apple pie caramel apples are to die for; absolutely amazing. And their tiger butter caramel apples are awesome as well. The ice cream is good, but pretty expensive in my opinion. But whenever I am in Midtown, I always see myself walking in and seeing what delicious treats they have.

My favorite place to go for ice cream(except maybe Ted And Wally’s when they have their eggnog ice cream out)! It’s pretty affordable(especially if you use PinPoint, which you should), and so good. My recommendation is cake batter ice cream with mini marshmallows and sprinkles mixed in.

I’m a big fan of Coldstone… used to go all the time back in Vegas… glad to know the one here at Midtown Crossing is just as good… as far as I’m concerned they blow Ted and Wally’s out of the water… For what I paid not only did I get a good amount of ice cream, but at no point did I feel I was being cheated by overrated and overpriced product… I ordered the large cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and Reese’s PB cup pieces… simply heavenly… the service was fine for what they sell… I will continue to come here and perhaps try different flavors… but then again I probably won’t since cake batter flavor is simply the best…

It had been a few years since I had been to a Cold Stone Creamery. The check-in offer was great for cutting the price a little. It was a little pricey but the ice cream was great. I had the dark chocolate mint with raspberry mix in. Was fantastic. Will definitely go back.

They were out of over half of their favors and the«cashier» did not know howmtomwork the register! I ate my entire purchase before she was able to figure out how to check out the person ahead of me. I asked the employee who seemed to know a little bit more than she did to stay to check us out, he said no because he was off duty.

Went here a few weeks ago. Ice cream is good. I tried a new flavor this past time and it was a miss, but that’s my own fault. The staff was nice, but I was kind of bummed that the group of blond coeds standing behind me were told about the buy one get one free special and no one mentioned it to me, even though I also am associated with the University? And these chicks didn’t even have their IDs with them and I had mine in my pocket. Bummer.

I was with friends a couple of years ago at Village Point and remember eating ice cream there. This was our first visit to CSC at Mid Town Crossing. We just ate dinner at Tommy Colina’s Kitchen up the street(great experience.) So we came down for some dessert. When we arrived there were about 6 employees working and most seemed to be huddled around the cash register. There was a couple in front of us that had been waiting and no one seemed to be helping them, there was 4 of us. Finally someone came over and helped the couple in front of us, and then it was my turn. I got my order I was waiting for Jonny to get his. The person who made our order stood behind the cashier so he could tell her what I had ordered(mmmm was she not able to see what I ordered by the fact that I was holding it in my hand???) It just seemed a little unorganized and inefficient. I must say that ice cream for two people just about cost as much as our dinner! $ 16 It must be some GREAT ice cream. Actually… it was not. If I was blindfolded I would not have been able to tell that I was eating chocolate ice cream. Most disappointing. Baskin and Robbins and Omaha’s Goodrich has this place beat with taste and cost many times over! Most of the tables were dirty, the floor needed to be swept and that was not done by anyone during our 20 minute visit. I didn’t see any leadership which explains the overall experience. I won’t say that I would never come back, as their caramel apples looked good. It won’t be for ice cream and it will not be for $ 16!
