Shocking Difference

I would recommend them based solely on the fact that they speak honestly and without being condescending. Explained everything during the quote and responded quickly. Showed up an hour early for the appointment and worked quickly. Quote was great compared to another local electrician that was about 3x the amount. The business name is also great, who doesn’t like a great pun.

I had these guys come out and install a generator backup system on my main panel. I think its called a manual transfer switch with an outlet that you plug my generator into. They did an excellent job. The electricians that came to install it were not only perfessional but were very nice, friendly and clean. They installed it exactly as I pictured and when they were done they cleaned everything up as if they weren’t even there. And then they explained in great detail that I could understand how to use the new system and tested it for me to insure it worked properly. The electrician’s they had sent were some of the best I have ever dealt with. Shane and Sunny are my new go to electricians and Shocking Difference will be recommended to all my family and friends. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. Oh ya and there prices are more than fair and affordable. If fact a lot cheaper than I had thought it would have been

A truly excellent small, local business. I had a subpanel and generator transfer switch/​plug installed. The price was less than I expected, the owner had good suggestions for making the installation better and less expensive. Very high quality work, and friendly competent electricians. Darrell, the owner, obviously knows that customer service is how you build a business. Highly recommended.

Hired Shocking Difference the first time to install my ductless heat pump. Pleasant and professional electrician. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, took the time to explain the project to me, and left me with useful operational information.
I had unrelated electrical trouble a year later, and he came the day I called — on a weekend — and was very helpful. He couldn’t recreate the problem but told me he’d come instantly if it happened again. It happened again a few days later. He came right away, found the short, fixed the problem and while he was there, he did a simple little job that I’d been meaning to get to for years.
Very reasonable prices. Very kind person.
