Posh Salon

Since this wonderful place doesn’t have a single review yet, I’d like to start by saying they did a beautiful thing with my hair, exactly what I had in mind. Very cute little salon.
My initial impression was a bit of intimidation and anxiety. I like to read reviews before I visit a place where I trust a complete stranger to alter my look in some way. They really have no reviews and their website presence is Facebook. I would love if they had a website or listed prices with services offered on Facebook so I could browse. I had a Groupon for highlights though and decided to give it a shot.
When I first walked in, I felt like I had walked onto the set of a modern day ‘Steel Magnolias’ because everyone in the salon was loudly and joyously chattering as if they were all old friends. I felt a bit awkward because they had to stop momentarily to see what I needed but it passed within minutes after my stylist, Megan, greeted me. She was very friendly and talkative. Altogether, I had partial highlights and a trim. Without me even asking, she blow-​dried and lightly curled my hair (as I had just complained that I have a difficult time getting my hair to curl). She did a fabulous job and I’m typically pretty picky. My hair looked better than it has in months (maybe years) and I would like to visit them again!
