I have no idea who’s running this place. Hardee’s is my favorite fast food restaurant, so I was so excited when I saw this one open close to home. We have eaten there about six times, and every visit has been a slow, torturous wait for mediocre, lukewarm food. Each time, we have waited no less than 30 minutes for our food. The workers just stand around, talk to each other, come into the dining area to laugh and flirt with their friends, and look at their cell phones. The manager is INCLUDED in the above behavior. I have never seen anything like it. I can’t imagine the owners know what’s going on in their restaurant. The customers always look frustrated and angry — as do we after about 20 minutes of waiting and listening to the absurdity that goes on behind the counter. I am planning to write a letter to the company about this location, and will be getting names of employees the next time I’m there. RIDICULOUS.

Food was fine. Service was not particularly good; got ignored for a long time while trying to get someone’s attention to both order and get something to drink(the self serve tea was out). Their ketchup dispenser sucks.

Hardee’s is service is far from average at best. I won’t be going back. The food was decent but that’s being generous. I’m giving 2 stars.

Back in the 80s and 90s, Hardees was decent. They closed shop in Memphis and went away for a while. They should have stayed clear of the Memphis market. A kitchen full of kids, yet it takes forever to get an order. And the faces of the patrons dying a minute at a time waiting on so-called-fast food. Priceless The Frisco Thickburger should be called a Mayo Disaster. I swear they dumped half a container of Hellmans in this sandwich. To make things worst, I specifically ask for no cheese in the ¼ Little Thickburger. What do they do? Plop a cold unmelted slice of cheese on the burger. Next time I will go anywhere but here.

Hardee’s was a mid south mainstay for a minute, until it was taken from us. It’s back in Olive Branch and on Summer Avenue, so I decided to drop in to try it out for old time sake. The takeaway for me are the buns. Hardee’s claims it makes the buns on the property. I guess the beef is frozen. But, nevertheless, the bun adds a unique taste and texture to decent fast food burger. If you like our local Bark Yard Burger franchises, try Hardee’s out in OB. Not amazing but good.
