Robin Semegran, OD

I’ve only been a patient for a couple of years, but every time I visit I’m always treated kindly. Dr. Semegran, Matt, and Linda are friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, and the office is located right in Bi-​State Plaza in the plush suburb of Old Tappan. If you’re hungry afterwards, there’s even a Mooyah Burger around the corner!

Can I give less than one star? I went to this place with an emergency about 2 hours before I got paid. I had dropped a piece of sharp plastic in my eye, I got what I felt like was most of it out but was still irritated, knowing that my eyes are important I panicked and went to see them to see if they would look at it for me just to make sure it was all out of my eye. I told them I didn’t have any money to give them upfront, but that I was getting paid at 3 pm and that I would leave my debit card number for them, I just really wanted it to be checked out. I even work in the plaza and some of her employees are regulars at the deli i work for. The doctor came out and basically told me to fuck myself and wouldn’t even help me when I was seriously worried about my eyes. Clearly only in it for the money, doesn’t even care about the people, even those with a serious problem. ⁰⁄₁₀ would NOT recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Semegran for over five years. My entire family sees her for an annual eye checkup. She is very experienced.
Matt is the person who takes care of eyeglasses orders, and he is great as well. The receptionist is also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Semegram gives an excellent eye exam. No unnecessary waiting she is true to her schedule. Her selection of frames surpasses any optical store. The only downfall — really not a downfall– but she is in Palisades Park every other Saturday. Don’t live in the area so need Saturday appointment. Been to several other eye doctors and she’s the best of the best.
