Take a break here and enjoy a homemade delicious scone and tea of your choice while relaxing in the outside garden. The gift shop is great. Every tea from around the world and tea making accessories. There are also many other nice gifts from handlotions to Christmas ornaments. If you love tea or giftshops this is the place to go. A hidden gem!

Wonderful tea room experience outdoors, floral arrangements, gifts, lotions, much of it grown on the property. Relax outside in a rocking chair by the herb garden while you sample specially brewed teas. Eclectic array of gifts for every taste and season.

This place is awesome! I went here while on a mini vacation to visit some friends on the Connecticut shore. The woman, Susan, lives on the property and offers many fun keepsakes, home décor, and personal bath and body products like handmade soaps and lotions. She sells handmade cards, post cards of Old Saybrook landmarks like the lighthouses, beachy Christmas ornaments like seashells and real, dried starfishes, plus pillows, teapots and tea accessories(even matcha whisks), and more. Outside she sells herbs and other plants for outdoor gardening, and she is more than knowledgeable about every single item in the store. What impressed me the most, however, was probably her selection of Harney and Sons teas. She knew everything about each blend, including the origin, color, flavor, and brewing time. She even provides visitors with a complimentary cup! After perusing her store for a few hours and sitting outside on her patio to enjoy my free tea, along with my dog which she let inside the store and even fed treats from her personal stash to, I bought a few sample sachets of Harney teas that I haven’t tried yet. She wrote on the pouch how long to brew each tea, and which bags could be used two or three times over! Amazing small-town charm, excellent customer service, and a wonderful little shop by one of the most unique and eclectic small business owners I have ever met. Definitely a must-visit if traveling to Old Saybrook.
