Old Hickory Wine and Spirits

Owners are great and service is fantastic! The have most varieties of wine that I drink and enjoy! Got o Friday night tastings.

One of the best liquor stotes around. The owner helps you take your bottles out to your car and is very helpful with finding whatever you would like in the store.

I love this place. It’s the only store that carries Dark horse wine. They also carry any brand that you normally can’t find anywhere else. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great. I went in there one day and they were allowing you to sample a new tequila. It was awesome but I don’t remember the name sorry lol if u live in the madison, rivergate, or hermitage area u must visit this place u will not be disappointed.

Literally my favorite store in all of greater Nashville. The staff is extremely knowledgable, the store is clean, and the selection is the best in the area.

I love this place! The owner is really nice, and their stock is impressive considering it’s little olé’ Old Hickory. Admittedly, I don’t know too much about wine selection, but I’ve been impressed with all I’ve been able to find. The layout is really nice. It’s very comfortable, considering it’s a wine & spirits place. Anytime I’ve asked for help or suggestions the workers have always been friendly and have given good advice.

Tucked away in a tiny strip mall in Old Hickory is this little nugget. For its small size, the selection is fair and better than most of my other choices in my neck of the woods. The biggest perk by far is that they have my go-​to Cava of choice, Poema. I’ve only ever found it at Midtown and Frugal’s so I am glad to not have to make a long trip when/​if I need a bottle of bubbly.

Happy to have this store so close to home! He keeps a decent stock on hand and is helpful with suggestions too! He stocked some special items at Christmas too and I stocked up too :) (thank you peppermint kaluha!)

For those of us living in this area, you know how grateful we are when quality businesses locate here. Dillip (I think I am spelling that correctly) used to own the much smaller (and much closer to me) Lakewood Wine and Spirits, and although I have to drive further to his new store, I am so happy for him and for Old Hickory that he opened this new one.
His selection is wonderful, and better than you will find for miles around. I know he tries to stock anything local and will go out of his way to find favorites for his local and loyal customers.
The décor is tasteful and the store is laid out in an modern, easy to shop format. He arranges his wines logically, and I appreciate that he invested in a good array of fridges to stock cold white wines (I especially appreciate this during the summer!).
He also holds wine tastings, but by freak of scheduling, I have not managed to attend one yet, so I cannot review them — however, I’m working on it. I love that he is trying to bring this element to Old Hickory, where it is wanted and needed. Don’t I keep saying we are a community under-​served?
