I couldn’t think of a better way to start off the year, my daughter has been going here for two months and we absolutely love it here. Very professional staff with positive energy and clean environment. All of the staff is extremely accommodating, all the members, families, parents are awesome as well. If you’re looking for mixed martial arts and live in the area, I suggest that you stop by or whether it’s for adult classes, youth mma classes or women’s kickboxing and learn practical self-​defense with a great group of individuals that understand the sense of community and camaraderie.

Friendly staff. High energy classes. Always welcoming. No judgements. High encouragement during classes. Clean environment. Great kids classes. Instructors are very patient with the kids. Been here for 3 years and kids for 2 years. Reasonable prices compared with other gyms.

My daughter just recently started coming here. She has probably been a student here for two months and absolutely loves it. It is such a family environment. Even on day one sensei ness made it a point for her to be introduced to all the other students. She is learning so many different techniques and discipline as well. They really take time to make sure all the children understand what they are doing. The other children who have been there for a while also make sure to help the newer students out. It really is a great school.

My son has been a student here for the last few months and the techniques and discipline he has learned in the last few months is amazing. The patience and knowledge that sensei ness has with all the children is really astounding. You can truly tell he loves his job. The skills my son has learned here he will take on throughout his life. This place truly feels like a family environment. My only regret is not joining months ago

Ok, here’s the deal, the place is very much a family place, the kind of place where one should and will feel safe having their kids working out at.
I can’t say I’ve met anyone here who’s not friendly or had any sort of negative attitude, it is the kind of place where you will inevitably make friends.
Beginners get some needed special attention, but without the pressure or feeling intimidated.
The coaches are who make this place what it is, all of them without exception, are as nice as one might expect, I can only speak highly of all of them. The kids, however, adore and have a great deal of respect for Sensei Ness.
The shop has some equipment readily available, but can get anything one may need at competitive (and sometimes) lower prices than online stores!
There’s a small weight room, which can be used whenever and as much as one may desire, included in the monthly cost.
It is also worth noting that the building next door also has cross fit, but that runs a different program and it is not included in the martial arts cost.
The wait room for the parents is comfortable and has its own bathroom.

Our family love this place. Our son started MMA when he was 4 years old. The couches are awesome with the kids, my son wants to go to class everyday and my husband now joined the academy as well and is enjoying very much.
It is a family place, you feel safe to leave your kid there, the whole staff is very friendly and they take a very good care of the kids.

There is nothing bad I could say about this gym, the second I walked through these doors all of the staff and coaches have made me at home. I am so happy I chose to come here for my kick boxing experience I knew nothing and the coaches taught me step by step for the past 8 months. I couldn’t be happier coming here I wake up days on days I have kick boxing and can’t wait to get there. So thankful for such an amazing gym !! I could go on and on !! Sign up!!!

My family has been going here since August and are extremely happy. My kids are learning not only MMA, but discipline and self control. My wife and I are both taking MMA classes that teach technique and provide a great workout.
The instructors are all very friendly and challenge you positively. There is a great family atmosphere (Alfonse offered to watch my kids when my class ran a little over!) and sense of community.

There is nothing bad to say about this place… love everything about it from the instructors to the members… I have met some of the most amazing people that have forever changed my life. It is such a welcoming atmosphere… and the positive energy you feel when you walk through the door is contagious. I’ve learned so much physically and mentally and will forever be a member!!!

Apparently the Muay Thai program is now run by none other than James «mad dog» Meals, an outstanding Muay Thai kru (coach) with many years experience in both Muay Thai and MMA. I hear good things about the place, so I recommend checking it out for yourself to see if it fits what you’re looking for.

The folks at Strategic Combat Academy are great. The coaches are very knowledge. I go there for the boxing. Some of the coaches and trainers are professional fighters. I was never disappointed with the workouts. If you are looking for a gym where you can chill look somewhere else. If you are looking for a place where the trainers are going to push you past your limits SCA is the right place.

This gym has changed my life in so many ways. It has became a family to me and all of the highly qualified coaches and trainers are the best! It is a very family like environment that everyone can find a way to enjoy being there whether just training to get a work out in or lose weight or wanting to learn how to fight or defend your self. This gym is the best in the area and I wouldn’t change a thing about it
