I have been a Walgreen customer for over 12 years at 13 450 S BLACKBOB RD Olathe KS 66 062… worst customer service at the pharmacy actually shocking and horrifying … the staff so rude I will not go back

I gave up on Walgreens years ago for prescriptions. I would use them for the need of a staple item quickly. Now they are starting to compete with CVS for outrageous deals and becoming more appealing. I still won’t use them for a pharmacy, but I will be checking the weekly ad for sales now.
The store is clean, can be a pain to get in and out of depending on which way you are traveling. The workers are always friendly. Typical Walgreens.
They are also one of the very few places with Goobers. I seldom eat candy, but always grab a box or two of Goobers when I am at Walgreens. Mmmmmm, Goobers!

I want to give this place a 2 star, because today the pharmacy was TERRIBLE. I waited in the drive through for 10 mins and I was the only car there. I hit the call button four times. I finally looked the # up via Unilocal and called them.
The manager said I will transfer you back there. I said no I have hit the call button 4 times and they didn’t answer, please go back there and see if anyone is in.
A minute later the pharmacy picks up the phone and says «Pharmacy how may I help you.»
Me: «Well I have been sitting in the drive through for 10 mins hitting the call button, can I get some help please.»
Pharmacist: «Oh so sorry we didn’t hear the bell.»
Tech comes over and says sorry. Really you have a mirror to see cars, a call button and a bell that goes off when you drive over it and you didn’t hear me. More likely you are all day dreaming about Turkey day tomorrow and were distracted.
The only reason they get a 3 star is because in the past they have been fine and I love the clerk at the front that looks like a thin Santa he is AWESOME and gets a star all by himself.
The pharmacy here however needs lots of work.

My all time favorite stop for CANDY. Three boxes for $ 3! You gotta hit this place up before going to a move and take a big purse so you can fit it all in… well that’s what I do… please don’t judge me :)
The pharmacist here is friendly and worked with me to see how I could save on my prescriptions. I appreciated that. They have a drive thru for RX pick up which is nice.
They have a good selection of greeting cards and all kinds of household and toiletry items. Plus grocery stuff too. Most of the time you’ll pay, but occasionally their sales will beat grocery store prices.
The thing I dislike is they now make you have their little plastic Walgreens card to get the sale price. I just think that’s dumb and they should offer the best price regardless. I don’t want another card to carry around. However they can look it up with your phone # if you don’t have it.
