This is definitely an Oklahoma bar. Small. Literally picnic style tables set up throughout with one lone dance floor in the middle. Too smokey inside. No patio or place to breathe. Definitely not impressed.

I love going to Partners and enjoying the atmosphere. It’s big enough that a nice crowd can come to the bar and be dispersed comfortably. I enjoy the pool tables and that’s where I’ll usually be found with friends. There typically isn’t a lot of dancing happening and it seems to be full of groups of regulars who don’t mingle. I always enjoy myself. I gave it 3 stars, because the last time I visited Partners, the bar staff was highly disappointing. They seemed very unprofessional. The drinks were fine, it was the service that was disappointing. I had to wait at the bar for at least 30 – 40 minutes on one occassion, with the bartenders making eye contact with me as my hand was waving to indicate I needed help… it seemed like they were giving service to their friends and people they knew before myself, but it was difficult to tell why they acted so unprofessionally. I did not address my concern, because I dislike confrontation. I also did not receive acknowledgement or apology for the poor service.

I’m from Oklahoma, and I lived in the OKC area for over 6 years, and I know that there aren’t many options for gay women, but come on! This bar is so shitty it’s unreal. The staff is rude, the bouncers threw my friend out because she asked for her Jäger to be colder(granted she was drunk, but I must say that she was not being obnoxious) I would avoid this place. Go to Alibis, it’s a dive bar, but at least EVERYONE is friendly.

I’ve been to this place several times over the years. It’s THEMOST obnoxiously loud bar I have EVER been to. And I’ve been to a lot of bars all over the country(gay and straight). It’s almost like they think if they are louder they are cooler. NOT the case. They play that crap so loud myself and my friends have gotten headaches and had to leave. It’s also WAY too smoky. They don’t bother with any sort of ventilation for the non-smokers. I often have to go to the bathroom and splash water on my eyes. They only get business because they’re pretty much the only lesbian«club» type bar in town.
