Louie’s Grill and Bar

Solid place for beer and burgers (and many other tasty dishes). If you just want to post up at the bar it’s a great place for that as well. Hopefully Sam is working because she is hardworking, friendly, and attentive!

I’ve tried calling twice to speak with the manager julie (I only know her name because it’s on the door)
Don’t sit at the bar if the bar tender is blonde I found my receipt there and her name was Sam. One of the rudest people me and my husband have encountered. All she did was complain about everything and talk ill about her managers and employees to a gentleman at the bar, you could tell he was uncomfortable I couldn’t believe the words coming from her mouth it made me lose my appetite.

As far as restaurants go this one is mediocre at best fare prices but if you’re interested in real cook food this is not the place. It seems like my burger patty which said it was 100% Angus beef was A product that could be purchased from any regional food supplier for a restaurant it was clearly a frozen patty cooked on the grill and the cuts of beef probably four or not the best part of the Angus Cow had a ground pâté type texture to it it was clearly not ground beef or ground Angus. My wife had a salad sandwich combo in the meat on the sandwich was very dry and the sandwich was like a 3 inch sub bread. We ordered the peanut butter pie Reesie’s type cup dessert and it was definitely something bought from the store as all the slices were perfectly even. I would probably go again but it may be quite a while as I like to choose local restaurants over chain restaurants and I know this is a local company. If you need a place to eat this place will do.

Ok. The pizza taste much like that of a school cafeteria. I have had sandwiches as well, they are just ok. Not a place I ever get a craving for, but the drinks are pretty good. Also, there is a great view at the one on the lake.

I can not say enough about how horrible the Ruben sandwich is. All of the ingredients taste & look like they were bought from Oscar Meyer. When brought it up to manager she did not care, however she did make me pay for it.

I’ve often come here to eat wings and pizza with a friend after soccer games. Most of the time the staff provides good, friendly service. Wings and fries taste great. Pizza is surprisingly good as well.

Even though I am not a fan of sports bars, I had heard good things about Louie’s, so I was willing to try it out when a friend suggested dinner before a comedy show at the Loony Bin.
We were on a time crunch, so orders were given quickly. About 15 minutes later, the waitress walks up, smiles, and says, «So can I take your order?» Ummm??? We just did? That was definitely disconcerting. Fortunately, it appeared that they found our order, except our burgers did not arrive in the manner we ordered. My veggie burger didn’t have avocado, and my friend’s burger did have my avocado but not the bacon she requested. So off our food went as our waitress went to fix the mix-​up. Like I said, we had a time crunch and had explained that to the waitress when we initially ordered, so we were a little frustrated.
The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. I didn’t care for their teeny tiny fries, even though the veggie burger was pretty tasty — I did have blue cheese and avocado helping out, though.
I’m aware there are other Louie’s locations around OKC, so maybe this one is a dud? I’d be willing to try some of the other locations if circumstances demanded, but this Louie’s is not on my list to return to anytime soon.

Me and a date came here before a show at the looney bin. I had a starburst and it was amazing! We also had fried green beans that completely blew my mind. The staff was nice an helpful. I had never been here and they weren’t over priced. We ate outside since it was nice. And overall a good little yummy place. Ill be back

For Greg T — IT’S A SPORTS BAR!!! Not only should you already know they aren’t going to have large tables, but I’d bet you pretty much anything they wouldn’t blink at you dragging a couple of tables together if the place wasn’t packed!
I just went to Louie’s for a quick dinner, as it’s a quick hop from my hotel. I could have easily walked it, except for the 105 degree heat. The waitress was very attentive, I got a drink quickly, it was good. They have a good selection of beers. I ordered the grilled chicken breast, blackened with black bean salsa, and mashed potatoes and veggies as the sides. The chicken breast was big, but a little gristly. It was very well cooked (as in properly, not burned to a crisp!), and the salsa was surprisingly good! The veggies were a little blah and overseasoned, but edible. The mashed potatoes were good.
This was a great deal… $ 25 got me a good, filling dinner, a beer, a drink, and the tip. I’m just passing through town, and I would absolutely recommend this place for the traveler who wants a quick, cheap, good meal. I would come back if I ever found myself in OKC again.

I’ve eaten at Louie’s before but never with more than 4 people. Our family went out tonight, total of 6, and had to sit at separate tables. This location only has one table that seats more than 4 people. It’s either sit separate or wait until that one table vacates. This is the most ridiculous setup for a restaurant. We will not be back at this Louie’s because of this.

A very nice sports bar with lots of TVs, cheap & good food and prompt service. What else do you want when the games are on?
