Oh boy. The service here is TERRIBLE! The lady that served us was very cold and extremely rude. We thought that maybe it was us, but noticed rhymes she was that way with every table. We devised cancelling out order and just leaving, but decided to stick it out. The banchan is veeeeeeery spicy and the put lettuce in the Kimbob had lettuce in it. We won’t ever be returning.

The food was decent, but the service was, well, grim at best. Don’t go in expecting a shred of ambience, nor servers who communicate, smile, etc. A good place for lunch or dinner, granted. But don’t leave expecting to have made friends, nor to have received even a hint of gratitude. The location? Not a good part of town. The food? Good, yes, but not great. The service? Lacking, at best.

I have had better Korean food, this would not be my go-to place. Their chicken had a very smokey/burnt flavor. Their side dishes were alright, the potato was the best. The best main dish was the pork bulgogi. The Tteokbokki was also good. They use to fill their rice bowl up, but now they have cut the portion! Service here was bad, takes a while to get water and side dishes refills.

Meh, not really impressed and also pricy, we had beef BBQ table cook and there was NOBBQ sauce to grill with but some olive oil with a lot salt, what? Beef tasted dry and bland. However, The service was good. All of this just make me miss the Korean restaurants in Dallas even more!

I went here and we had the kimchee pancake, beef sushi roll and fried dumplings to start and for dinner I had the #12 beef. Husband had the beef clay pot. Wow! Both were outstanding and the kimchee bok choy and kimchee cucumber and potatoes and bean sides were all great! Try it! Just make sure to order the right thing! No chicken! Friend had the glass noodles with beef which were also great!

It looks like this Korean restaurant is the only one left in town. We went to two other locations and they’re out of busy. There’s only one server in this restaurant that take care of everyone in the restaurant. I think they just need to hire another person to help out. It was hard to get a hold of her. We ordered the short ribs. That is really good. The beef tofu soup is good. Fyi the soup came spicy already so do not ask for more spice otherwise it will be very, very, very spicy. The fried dumpings are good as well. The reason why I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars is because of the witness. She is not a good communication person. When i asked her that if she can make sure that the beef/tofu soup come spicy. She never told me that the soup is spicy already. At the end of the meal before we about to leave she decided to tell me that the soup came spicy already so when i mentioned to her to make sure that my soup come she decided to go back in the kitchen and told the chef to make it more spicy, spicy, spicy to the point that we can’t even eat it. My mouth was burning. I honestly think they need to train the witness yo be at communicating with the customers about the foods.

If you you enjoy being starred at while you eat by the entire staff than this is the place for you. The food is kinda pricy and gross …

Food: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Cleanliness: 5⁄5 Décor & Style: 3⁄5 Very good Korean food, however, gave it 4⁄5 rating for food due to the amazing Korean restaurants I have already tried growing up in California and eating out in Dallas. I love that everything is well priced so I will be back if I am ever in the area.

I come to OKC for work every couple of months and make it a point to come here. For the price and food, it is just Yum. I wonder if the reviews are so so because of its location and venue. Since I’m rating on behalf of food, price and service I’m down for a 5. Service is great despite how busy they can get during lunch. It’s a tradition to come here for their Friday lunch special of the beef bulgogi Bee beem bop. What’s it to love? Rice, beef, egg all in a hot bowl to mix the pickled veggies.

It’s true the service leaves a lot to be desired here and there is a decent language barrier. Coming from California, my dad would always joke that the first sign of a good Asian restaurant is a rude server. He wasn’t really joking though. It’s pretty much true, at least in Cali. Anyway, service aside, the food here is usually excellent. If I want maximally savory food for a bit more money, I come here. If I want larger portions for less money, I go to Seoul Garden. Chicken Bulgogi: 5⁄5 — Best I’ve had in OK. Extremely tasty with a little bit of grilled crisp. It came on top of a bed of cabbage so it was less greasy. Beef Bulgogi: 4⁄5 — Good, but fairly standard. Much less like beef jerky than Seoul Garden, but double the cost! Kimchee Soup: 4⁄5 — Much more robust flavor than Seoul Garden’s soups. Roughly the same flavor level as KO Mart. Kimbap: 4⁄5 — Super moist and delicious. Generous portion of meat. Less individual rolls than Seoul Garden, but slightly better in taste. Appetizers: 5⁄5 — This is the only Korean place in OK where both me and my gf both loved every one of the appetizers. All in all, I think the food is worth the poor service. I think I’m going to start eating here, then driving 8 minutes to KO Mart to shop.

This is one of few places that allow you to grill your own Korean ribs. Yakiniku kind of atmosphere, which is what I miss from my trips in Asia. Food is tasty, from the apps to the entrees. Be careful when you see the spicy signs. They tend to overdue sometimes. I got 1 soup and it was inedible. Gyoza is a must have as well as the bimbimbop. Lastly, order by the numbers on the menu. Avoid the confusion from mispronouncing the dishes names, because it will happen.

The first time I was here was 1999, then I moved and came back. Same food and same customer service. I always ordered the bbq, love seeing the food grilled in front on me!!! My gf loves the Bem Bem bop. I read a lot of negative review for this place — I feel like it is unfair. I have had their regular waitresses there. Indeed they do not speak english well, but going to a small foreign ma & pa restaurant, what do we all expect? I know when I go to a foreign ma & pa restaurant I expect decent customer service and amazing food from their home land, correct? With that said — food is great and it is my go to Korean bbq on OKC — if you are craving Korean, do try!!! Customer service?, well this isn’t Deep Fork or West dining.

I absolutely love Korean food. Korean house, Seoul garden, etc. I especially LOVE the appetizers before the food. B-Won’s appetizers are… disgusting to me. I don’t know what it is, everything was terrible. Also, I am a vegetarian, and when I went to order the Jap Chae, I asked for Tofu, instead of beef, and the waitress FLIPPED on me. She was telling me that it wouldn’t taste right, blah… blah… blah. I explained I was vegetarian, but I don’t think she understood so I just told her I was allergic to beef. So she finally gave me tofu. The Jap Chae was great with the tofu(as I knew it would be.) It was filling as well. Overall, besides the appetizers… the food was great. The reason for the 1 star though is because the service SUCKED. I have actually been 3 times(because of office lunches) and every time I just reject the appetizers, tell the waitress that I am allergic to beef, so I can finally get the tofu, and just ignore the terribly rude staff. I don’t recommend this place. I rarely ever not leave a tip. I usually tip 20% or more, but for this place, I will leave a penny on the table.

This is a hidden gem in OKC. The Koreans really know how to make fantastic food. The service is fast and efficient and the food is absolutely delicious.

Spice pork belly is basically bacon with chili frosting. But the chopped beef in black sauce and pork in special sauce were much better. That being said, it’s middle of the road for this place — not worth $ 13 a plate. Happy to pay this when the dish is savory.

Food is okay as well as the service. Our food came out well and the appearance of the interior was nice. It is a little more expensive per serving than other Korean restaurants in OKC metro area and the side dishes are scarce. It’s never busy so you’re sure to get a table quickly. Once it does get busy, I can tell the level of attention to their service will be reduced since I’ve only seen 1 waitress.

I have no clue why on earth this place has such terrible reviews. I grew up eating Korean food, and this place embodies an old school Korean restaurant that your auntie would own. Come here for lunch. Their lunch specials are affordable and out of this world. The most popular is the Friday special, sweet Korean bulgogi served sizzling in a clay bowl with an egg and rice that gets crisp on the bottom. Their jap chae noodle dish is also fantastic. In fact, all their lunch specials are great. It’s one of those places where you know you shouldn’t eat your whole meal but don’t want to stop. I’ve never been here for dinner though. Out of all Korean restaurants in town, their small accompanying sides are by far the best quality. Flavors are solid and not Americanized, and vegetables are fresh. My favorite part is definitely the two ladies that wait tables here. They could totally be your Asian auntie, a little rough around the edges but full of love and trying to feed you. They are so great.

I’m giving this restaurant two stars because the food was not bad but I left feeling gyped. For a small bowl of rice with some sprouts, an egg, and some bulgogi beef, the total came out to be more than $ 12. That is a lot of money for rice. The portions were small and I still didn’t feel full. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large group here because you will get bad service… as in none at all. Our waitress seemed very inexperienced and was more concerned with her closing duties. We waited a long time just for refills on water. It would’ve been easier if she had just left the pitcher on the table. It would’ve been nice to be informed whether she was bringing our checks or if we had to pay at the counter. We ended up forming a long line at the front and verbally told the cashier what we had and he checked it off his list. Don’t think I’ll be returning.

2 Stars is an even average of the service and the food. This wasn’t my first, nor my second shot at Korean cuisine. Based on the other Oklahoma Korean restaurants that I had been to, the food was average. I ordered the Bulkekee and my boyfriend had the Pork Bulkokee. Neither were bad. I ended up taking half of my food home to be finished later. My boyfriend ate all of his. The pork was a tad spicy. The bf compared the beef to tasting like beef jerky; my taste buds couldn’t wander from the thought once heard. There was plenty; however, the $ 13 per plate was a bit much, considering the amount and taste of the food. If I’m ever in the area looking for a snack I may stop by, but only for an order of the Kim Bap(Sushi roles seaweed with beef & vegetable). It was rather tasty. Neither the beef nor the seaweed was chewy or hard. For $ 5.99 you get quite a few. The service was terrible. We had a rather large group(filled the entire back section), but other than us, there were only 2 other tables of 3 – 4. The waitress seemed like she was keeping busy with wiping past tables down, filling things in the back, etc, but I waited over 30 minutes for her to come by with our ticket. Even longer for water. I only had a total of two glasses(not even completely full) and had to ask for both of them. Post Post Thoughts The person that got our group together for this evening«got the 3rd degree from the Korean owner» because there were 3+ items that weren’t paid for by the time he paid to leave(he was the last of about 20 people). I blame the restaurant for this. We ended up going to the front where the owner(?) stood with one long ticket with all of the items that were ordered. As people came up to tell him what they ordered, he ticked things off. Hopefully this restaurant will soon figure out some service skills.
