I am a vendor at Industry flea. It is one of the coolest pop up markets going in the city. Allison and Cleo have worked hard to make it a cool place to shop during H and 8th. My favorite is the night time market on Friday night. Something about shopping and mingling via Edison light is intoxicating. Local artists and crafters lined up in tents is a great way to kill a Friday night out in midtown.

We love the Industry Flea! This is the new generation and they are crafty and stylish! You will find vintage and new clothes, beautiful wood and metal craft, sweet and savory pies, music and art galore, pet adoption, plant stand, and some of the hottest people watching(especially during H&8)! This collection of local artists and creators is a free outdoor treat! Hope you find something you can’t live without!

We happened to come across this last night! I don’t know if it coincides with H&8th every time, but it was when were there last night. Cute booths, great deals, local vendors! Great location, you can enjoy food trucks that H&8th offers and then wonder through the French market like tents that Oklahoma had to offer! I will be going back again! This was our first time for Industry Flea and H&8th we happened across the Flea market first ;)

I’ve drifted over many times after waiting way too long for a food truck at H&8th and seen some great local vendors. I usually am there pretty late, so the rope lighting between all the tents is very welcome. The vendors have a great variety of local stuff, from jerky to made in oklahoma crafts, to antiques. It’s all so great and worth a walk through. If anything, you’ll meet some great people who love our community so much they take the time to express their love with art and food that represents it.

Oops, I started this review long ago & just found it in my drafts. I have been a fan of the Holiday Pop-Up Shops brought to OKC courtesy of Alison Barta Bailey and was really looking forward to her new endevour, Industry Flea. As I expected, I am now a huge fan of Industry Flea. This event launched with the March season opening H&8th Night Market. It is located in the empty field next to Bleu Garten food truck court. This is a monthly, outdoor flea market but not the normal type of flea market filled with junk. Industry Flea participants so far have included local vendors who have shops such as A Date with Iris, Out on a Limb, 42nd St. Candy, Sara Kate Studios, and Savvy on Campus Corner in Norman. Heather Parsons did not bring her cute Cargo Room mobile boutique but did have some of her cute merchandise set up under her tent. There also is a good mix of artists and craftspeople who normally sell their product online or through other retail outlets. I was able to sample some of Red Hot Mamma’s pickles before buying them and was surprised to discover that I can handle the heat of the medium pickles. During this first Industry Flea I was a booth buddy for my friend JD McCoy. You know, watching her booth while she took breaks. She makes t-shirt blankets and more and does custom jobs with your t-shirts too. She will be at the May 2015 Industry Flea, assuming the rain gives us a break and will also have some hand-woven rugs this time. If you can’t come see her at Industry Flea, check out her website at . I went to the second Industry Flea in April as a shopper and bought Mother’s Day gifts for my mother & my mother-in-law. I got them beautiful stained glass hummingbirds made by James Rogers King Glassworks and lotion bars made by Local Lather OKC sold by Out on a Limb. These gifts were a hit! If the weather will cooperate, I hope to see you out at the Industry Flea.

Leave to the indefatigable Allison Barta Bailey — @IndustryFlea is awesome! I didn’t even realize we needed this, and yet, lo and behold, it is one of my favorite new additions to OKC. Held on the same lot as the Holiday Pop Up Shops, Industry Flea is the last Friday of every month(March-September, same evening as H&8th), and the following Saturday. Lots of local vendors, some I knew, some I didn’t. For example, we all know and love Dry/Shop, A Date With Iris, etc., but IF also brings out some vendors that must normally only sell their wares online, or have a stall in some of the little vintage marketplaces I don’t tend to frequent. I saw lots of new faces, including a really amazing vintage poster dealer, some wonderful shabby chic/French provincial dealers, and more. I think it is one of those that will only get better with time, but it will take community support to really make it pop. They’ll be able to attract more vendors if people are really using it as an opportunity to get out there and go shopping. Want to see events like this live a long and healthy life? Vote with your dollars, just as you have done with H&8th. Want to see more and different vendors? Let Allison know, I’m sure she’s right there with you!

Just had the best beef jerky ever and the spice was no joke. The weather is awesome, food is great, and tons of people out with their families and dogs checking out the awesome merchandise. Great music provided by The Spy radio. A Date with Iris is here too, I love them, and The Plant Stand is here and have pretty flowers for planting. It’s the season! They gave me great advice on planting rosemary as bush-like plants. Also bought a dress suitable for cocktail attire events from the Cargo Room for less than $ 40.
