What a delight! This has been my best dining experience since moving to Oklahoma. There wasn’t a single thing that I would try to improve upon. Atmosphere, drinks, entrée, service… All was so very good!

Simply put, this place has the best Italian food in the city, the service is excellent, and the drink selection is robust. Don’t eat at any other Italian restaurant until you’ve tried Gabriella’s.

The service was good and we didn’t have a wait time on a Friday night which surprised us. The menu talks about their love of garlic, well they didn’t lie. My husband and I love garlic like most, but no thanks, there is such a thing as overpowering a dish with garlic. We had 1 appetizer, 2 entrees(no salad included) and one beer…$ 74 before tip. Since the food was just OK, we think it was pretty overpriced. Flips and Bellini’s will remain our go-to for quality Italian.

Wonderful authentic Italian. Made our reservation on Unilocal.Cuisine was wonderful. Pizza from the wood fired oven was great as well. Our Server Nancy made the experience even better. Thanks Gabriella’s for being passionate about giving people a great food experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I decided to finally give this place a try on one our date nights. All I can say is that any hesitation I had from some of the negative reviews were cast aside shortly after we arrived. They weren’t terribly busy and we were seated within about 10 minutes. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We told our waitress that is was our first visit and that we were on a date away from the kids. She was very eager to tell us about the history and made recommendations and told us to ask questions If we had any. She also encouraged us to take our time, knowing how precious date nights can be. The food was amazing and my lemon drop martini was pure heaven. Although this place can be a wonderful location for family and group dinners, I believe we will keep it as a date night dinner.

We had reservations but that didn’t mean anything. We had to wait. When we did get seated our waiter, which was nice, was over worked. Apparently they do not staff fully on weekends. The food was OK but over priced.

Always a delight to eat here, the ordinary menu item always turns out to be extraordinary. I got the veal parmesan and ended up getting a leg of lamb with my spaghetti! My wife had clams and linguine and it was exquisite. Our drinks were great and service was prompt and courteous, I will always recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Italian food that’s more authentic than you deserve in OKC.

Didn’t get to eat there. We didn’t have reservations and fully expected to have a lengthy wait for a table, during which time we planned to drink at the bar. However, the apparent managers comment of «I don’t care about the wait list, only people with reservations» made sure that they will never get our business.

Normally, I’ve liked the food here. Again, tonight, the food was okay, but the poor service, at $ 40 per person, was enough to make me never return. Horrid service made okay food a 1* experience. The waitress seemed to act as though our being there was an inconvenience to her personally.

Authentic Italian. You better make a reservation. We were there at 4:30 and already a 45 minutes wait. Worth it though.

One of the better Italian restaurants to come to this area. Food is authentically Italian(I grew up in Providence RI) and find this establishment quite to my liking. Well prepared, great presentation, excellent service, easy access. I recommend reservations and you’ll be in for a treat.

I just have to say, this is the most delicious Italian food I’ve had in Oklahoma City. The Chicken Picatta is what I order most of the time and it is to die for. My husband always orders the pizza and is never disappointed. I’ve had the Lasagna in the past and it was great! The Zuppli is a little ball of goodness off the appetizer menu and I assure you that it will become your favorite. Make sure you make a reservation if you want to assure you get a seat. The bar is open seating, but the place is always packed.

Made a reservation for two people 8:30 pm on Friday night. We arrived twenty minutes early and checked in with the hostess. There weren’t any other parties waiting at the front for a table at the time and it wasn’t busy at all. She said they were«right on schedule» and our table would be available very soon but we would still need to wait a few minutes. Once it was 8:30, we went back to the host stand. She wasn’t there. Only two other people had walked in after us that whole time and were standing there waiting as well. We saw several tables leave during this time but never saw the hostess and no one else greeted us with any information. Finally, after waiting for a total of 45 mins for our 8:30 reservation, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere. We decided to take our date to Paseo Grill. ITWASFANTASTIC and totally saved the night. So, if you’re considering whether to dine at dingy, poor Gabriella’s or anywhere else, choose anywhere else!

We were a large party and were told it would be several hours before we could be seated. So, we agreed to split our group into small parties and were then told that the wait would be 45 min — 1 hour. We waited over an 1 ½ hours without ever being seated even though we clearly saw at least one empty table. No one checked on us or apologized. We ended up leaving, all completely starving, and were simply told«bye.» I have no idea why a restaurant would treat its customers that way.

I would probably only go back for the Zuppli appetizer(risotto balls stuffed with sausage & cheese and served over a red pepper sauce). It was so yummy, I ordered it twice. Lol. Everything else was a little lack luster(hostess, service, food, décor).

Excellent service, Carmine is an excellent bartender. Had the Bone-In Veal Parm. And Ribeye… AMAZING!

When we walked in, the owner told a guest that they would be doing him a favor if they found some where else to eat. I guess if you’re ok with terrible service, greasy menus, dirty wine glasses, disgusting bathrooms, and torn table clothes, the overpriced food is good.

This place gets four stars opposed to five because I am displeased with the amount of sugar the red sauce in the lasagna contains. However, the chicken tortellini is excellent.

We sat at the bar area in front of the kitchen. Everything was freshly made and tasted great. I had the Eggplant and my husband had the Lasagna… so awesome! Because we were in front of the kitchen we were able to chat with the Chef — very friendly.

The food is good for OKC Italian food. I haven’t had anything there I didn’t like. The waitstaff are friendly, but seem like they’re stretched way too thin. Every time we’ve been there, the place has been pretty full, and the waitstaff seem flustered as they run from table to table. Now I don’t usually cite a specific person as the reason I take away stars, but this is an exception. Every time we’ve been, the same hostess has been working. And she is MEAN. The first night, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe she’s just having a bad night or something is going on outside of work that is upsetting her. But she has been equally as hateful every visit since. For example, on our last visit, we had made reservations for four. We got there ten minutes before our reservation time, and were happy to wait a bit. By 10 minutes after our reservation time, we still hadn’t been seated. My always cheerful mother asked the hostess if she knew anything about our table and when it might be ready. The hostess rolled her eyes and said«well you should be able to see we’re busy, so you will just have to wait.» Another ten minutes went by. My mother, still friendly and pleasant, asked if the table might be ready soon. The hostess this time said, «I told you we’re busy. You can either wait for your table or you can leave and go somewhere else.» About that time, another staff member came over to let us know our table was ready. The hostess snatched a stack of menus off the hostess stand and looked at us and said«obviously your table is ready,» and started walking away. We assumed this meant we were going to our table so we followed. She stopped by a table and stared at us, so we sat down. She then tossed(yes, honest to god, TOSSED) a menu down on the table in front of each of us. She rolled her eyes and walked away. That’s been par for the course with her. Every visit. Other waiting patrons seemed to have similar feelings about this woman’s(or is child more fitting?) behavior toward them. Silver lining for that visit: our server was great. Will we be back? I don’t know. If we walk in and see the same miserable hostess, we would probably go elsewhere.

Met our Church community group for dinner and the food was BOMB! Not a super long wait at all and it all came out together, which is super appreciated. My husband and I got a roma pizza and the caprese salad. The caprese salad had huge slabs of what takes like home made mozzarella and slices of the big beefstake tomatoes, drizzled in balsamic. It was veryyyy tasty! The roma pizza was such a yummy red pepper cream sauce as the base and was perfectly smothered with gouda and mozzarella. It had some other things on there that I didn’t even notice b/c the sauce and the cheese were so good. The crust was amazing too! I don’t normally care for pizza crust unless it’s done really well and this one was! The crust was crisp but also had a soft and moist feature to it, not quite still doughy but not too poofy and dry like some places. EVERYone in our group(about 8 of us) ordered something different and LOVELOVELOVED the food. The service was prompt and attentive. The drinks were delivered in a timely manner, which … for anyone that’s familiar with my reviews knows that is always my first order of business. Timely drinks, check. Attentive service, check. Good food, double check. Happy customers! The atmosphere was super cute too! Our party loved the feel of the place with the crazy candle stick holders that have had a bazillion candles on them, proof with all the drizzled wax, and the faux street lamp that was next to our table. The ambiance is well done. Clean, warm and Italian without being cheezy. We will definitely be back to this place! Highly recommended in my book!

Absolutely not worth the money. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. When our food finally arrived my husbands food was cold. My mothers spaghetti and meatballs were terribly seasoned. Too much parsley that the meatballs tasted terrible and not enough breadcrumbs. And she received 2 meatballs for $ 18. My Niece whose 3 got the spaghetti and meatballs off the bambino menu for $ 12 less received almost the same plate! We ordered 3 glasses of wine which were forgotten about. Don’t waste your time or money on the place. Totally not worth it. Service isn’t great and the food is the best.

I had a dinner reservation for a party of 2 on a Friday night at 7:15. We were told reservations were running behind and we could have a seat at the bar to order a drink. We decided not to go to the bar because we had already decided to purchase a bottle of wine with dinner. We waited. Other parties arrived and they were told to wait or go to the bar. As the bar was packed, which I assume was other backed up reservations, few took up the offer. The hostess was making«jokes» about how all the backed up reservations could be seated together. We laughed and said no thank you. I in no way thought this would ever be their solution to the problem. By then several other parities had arrived and were waiting. At 8:00 she said she apologized and wished there was something she could do. I said how about a complementary glass of wine for waiting and continuing to wait. She said I’ll see what I can do and went to find what I assume to be the manager. She came back at 8:15 and she could sit us at the family table. I asked how many it sat and she said 24, and that she was going to offer to seat all the waiting parties at this table. This table is at the center of the restaurant and there are no other tables around it. I was quite shocked said no thank you and left. The whole premise of the restaurant is «intimate» dinning. I shouldn’t have waiting as long as I did. Not one of the 5 + parties waiting who had reservations saw the manager. He could have poured us all a glass of wine out of a $ 10 box and we all would have stayed and probably spent more on our meals. This means they don’t have the extra revenue to meet the needs of their guest. Several tables were finished eating and just sitting. Why would u not encourage these tables to leave or move to the bar for additional drinks? You obviously have untrained staff who don’t know how to manage tables. The hostess did the best she could with no direction or help from the manager. I felt sorry for her because she had a lot of angry people staring at her. Waiting an hour for a table when you have a reservation is completely unacceptable. Unless the Pope is dinning with you which he never would, you need to move people out and increase your revenue. I will never come back to this restaurant due to their poor lack of customer service. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like if you don’t even have a properly trained staff. Oh and please throw away the eggplants at the front. They are mushy and rotting.

In my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in OKC! Not only do they have a good amount of options available, but they execute well on all of them. They do not skimp on portion size either, which is very important to me. All the pastas, pizza, meat dishes, appetizers are amazing and I have tried a lot of them! Pasta is al dente and sauces all homemade. The desserts are just as huge and delish too. Easily the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. And biggest too. The ambiance and environment is great too. Feels very homey and like you just want to hang out there. The staff are all very nice and fun and outgoing. I could go on and on about this place. Definitely a must go to in OkC. Just don’t take my table…

I’ve been told by friends to come check this out since it changed hands and became an Italian place so I did. We made reservations so there wasn’t a wait on a Saturday evening and we were seated promptly. The waitress was okay, seemed a bit slow as we had to wait on refills of drinks and bread. Bread was good. Heard the salad was good, didn’t try it. I ordered lasagna, husband ordered the chicken parm. Portions were huge, you’ll take some home. Chicken was cooked perfectly. So was my lasagna but I just wasn’t overwhelmed. I wanted to fall in love and it just didn’t happen. But now I can say I’ve been.

I want to like this place: I have been here quite a few times during visits to OKC since family loves this place. The food is sup-pare and the service is terrible. Every time we come, we make a reservation, yet have to wait to be seated for several minutes no matter how not busy they are. It’s obvious they are never prepared– that’s fine if I don’t make a reservation, but if you know you have a reservation, then think ahead, it’s not that difficult. They act as if they are doing us a a favor letting us sit down– if I’m spending over 40 bucks a person to eat, don’t treat your business like that. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes I’ve had decent service and sometimes it’s terrible. I’ve never had severs be so rude and I’m from DC where people generally aren’t nice. Takes forever to get a water, bread, or salad. Ordered a refill for my wine, waited 20 minutes then asked about it. Was told very rudely that he had to go get it and hadn’t had the time. Food is not worth the money. Plain and simple. Greasy, salty, and not qualify ingredients. Pizza is good, but not worth a trip out there. They obviously want to run their business a certain way, which is not customer or quality oriented. The salad is terrible and now they charge for it. The bread is cheap and the dishes aren’t clean. After my last visit, I will take my money to more deserving establishments in the area.

I ordered pasta la tonno with tuna sun dried tomatoes and spicy sauce to die for. Generous portions and taking it home. Zucchini sticks were huge and great with a lemony sauce, all gone! Beverage was an angry hoe, with cider. It was tasty and went down smooth. Ice cream cake to follow …

I’ve been here three times and I waited to review the place because I really wanted to have a great dining experience. Didn’t happen. The service was very slow though the waiter was friendly enough and appeared to be doing the best he could. The service has been slow each time we’ve been to Gabriella’s. Our reservation was for 7:15 and we arrived at 7:00 to wait on friends. They showed up right at 7:15. We weren’t seated until almost 7:30 and no one even bothered to acknowledge us or apologize for the wait. I get the impression these folks think they’re doing us a favor by allowing us to dine at Gabriella’s! The food was very good and very authentic. The food has been great each time we’ve been in but the lack of service and other issues make the overall experience rate 3 stars at best. If I come back it’ll be for take out.

Gratzi! I am thrilled to have found an italian restaurant that took me back to my childhood in New Jersey! I like the atmosphere — casual and cozy. There are small open rooms, a long community table and the back room with the bar is another environment also. We ate at the bar and were welcomed from the start! The beer list is international. The cocktail menu is exciting and the dinner menu a challenge to choose from! The garlic bread was toasted and crispy. A dish of balsamic dipping sauce was provided too. We shared a house salad that came family style and had the best homemade salad dressing! This took me back to NJ! I had the mussels. Delish! My husband had linguini with clam sauce. The clams were real baby clams — not diced out of a can! Ok, so the food was awesome! We were stuffed but… I got an order(2) of cannoli to go. The shells were made fresh, the filling is pure italian! I just found my favorite italian restaurant in OKC! Go! GO! And go again!

Mamma Mia I love this place! The best Italian in OKC in my mind! If you ever been to Krebs, OK to visit Pete’s Place, well Gabrielle’s is the sister restaurant. Owned by the same family but now in the city and even better in my opinion. The menu has long lists of apps, pizzas, pastas, entrees and dessert. The interior is dimly lit and has one big dining space with intimate dining spaces lining the sides. These areas make you feel like you’re sitting in your own dinning room eating with just your family. For me, my favorites include the mussels appetizer and the sausage broccoli orecchiette pasta! The mussels are big but worth it. A butter broth with bacon and jalepenos and awesome crusty bread for dipping. You also get a complimentary family size salad, soft homemade bread and a pepper and cheese plate for the table before your meal comes. Overall it doesn’t get better than this! Amazing wine, Frank Sinatra playing in the background, wine bottle candles on the table and great homemade Italian food!
