Giving this man a 1-star is being more than generous! My 18-year daughter recently had an exam, and her visit was good. However, I had the privilege to call the office and spoke to Dr. Turner concerning a billing issue. Since he advised me I could speak with him, I proceeded to advise of a notification from my insurance company advising me that my insurance was billed twice. I told him I knew there was no way my daughter could have the same exam twice on the same day, so I wanted to make sure there was nothing I needed to do concerning this matter. Rather than him simply advising me the matter would resolve itself and my insurance was accidentally billed twice, he, instead, demanded that I learn to read my bills and began arguing with me for calling the office. I told him I didn’t want to argue, nor was I trying to accuse him of anything other than wanting to ensure there was no action I needed to take. Dr. Turner never allowed me to complete a sentence before becoming defensive and eventually hanging up on me. It was at that point I knew I needed to let you all know how unprofessional this man is. If it’s too stressful for him to answer questions from the very party from whom he expects payment, then perhaps he should leave the phones to someone else to handle. I am beyond disappointed and saddened that this«professional» forgot how to utilize appropriate phone etiquette to handle customer service issues. I would never allow my daughter back because if there’s one thing I’m a stickler on, it’s customer service! Not only am I several hundred miles away from my daughter who attends school in OK, but I have the right to be respected as a human being – whether I received the service or not!
