Denny’s

The waitstaff is very professional and does the best they can do. Ordered sweet tea and they were out of sugar. Food is excellent.

I was a little unsure about this place when I saw the other reviews but it is EXACTLY what you should expect when you stop at a Denny’s. Clean, good service and decent food for the price.

The Dennys on Meridian served lots of attitude when i pointed out she got my order wrong. Got the manager involved who assigned us a different waitress (who never came to check on us after that point) and didnt offer an apology as we checked out. I sent an email to corporate who also didnt respond. I will never go to another Dennys again and will discourage everyone i know from going.

i have ate here several times, mainly because it was early in the morning when nothing else was open. The manager will run the register from time to time, but he will spend enourmous amounts of time talking to employees. This often causes a delay in service. The service is usually hit and miss as half the time the order is wrong or they never refill your drink.

I was very impressed. Staff was super friendly. Food was very good. And the price was great! We ate for $ 20 and all left full. I recommend this location for any family on vacation or even just on a budget.

Nostalgia can be a powerful thing, people, and you have zero say in which memories will float away and which ones will stick in your mental sieve despite your earnest exertions to get rid of them. Popping into Denny’s conjured the memory that my family owned a small business for awhile, and the place would be up and running, in full operation, by 6:00 am on Saturday mornings. And it was the coolest thing — a revelation for my very young self — to get up at 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning WHEN IT WAS STILL COMPLETELY DARK OUTSIDE and go in to work with my father, always making sure to stop at Denny’s first to get some breakfast and the six or seven cups of coffee he would need so he’d have the self control to avoid firing the first employee he saw on his «day off.»
Actually, I think it may have been Waffle House that we went to. But here’s the point: There’s a 50 – 50 chance that on a professionally important day, I’ll snap awake at 3:30 am, with no chance of going back to sleep. On one of those days, I decided to change things up and go get some food at a time when few in their right mind would be awake, much less going out. (Come to think of it, some of these Unilocalers might be getting home around 3:30, but that’s neither here nor there.) I headed into this Denny’s not expecting anything except terrible, greasy, processed crap that would kill an hour or two for me.
And when I wound up with a waitress who was a genuinely friendly soul, who took great care of me and the other handful of folks in a Denny’s in the early morning hours, and with that greasy breakfast crap that reminded me of those Saturday mornings but actually is a LOT better quality than it was 20 years ago, I somehow had a really great time! Sleep deprivation? Karma? Who can say … but it was actually a really good experience. The place is spotlessly clean, it’s fast, they’re super friendly. I don’t know, I’ve paid a lot more money to be treated much worse.

I was pleasantly surprised by Denny’s. I’ve always thought of this place being not so good (the first time I came to a Denny’s there were cockroaches everywhere), but THIS place was very nice.
The waitress was very friendly and sweet and made sure to always have water ready for us. I got the grilled chicken salad (it had a slightly different name). The chicken was alright but it wasn’t the best cut of chicken breast.
My parents got the grilled chicken with broccoli and corn. Theirs looked very good and fresh.
The food came out quickly! It was all pretty good.
